Great place. Nice food and well-sized portions. Everything is vegan and have a nice selection: salads, curry dishes, pasta, burgers, etc. It has a tiny terrace with an amazing view facing the castle.

Mom is a vegan and this was the perfect stop in Praha! The portions were small– just FYI if you’re really hungry. The dishes were prepared very well though and the service was great! Good prices too. Definitely a healthy option in a city of meat!

I did some research on vegan restaurants in Prague after deciding to visit for the weekend. LoVeg was one of the first I stumbled upon and it was in quite a good location so I convinced my friends to try it with me. The restaurant has a very small entrance and you had to climb a lot of stairs to get to the actual restaurant. We chose to sit outside because it had quite a nice of view of the Prague castle despite the weather being a little chilly. The waitress was very nice but because of a technical issue, they forgot to process our order which they only discovered after we complained that our food wasn’t getting here after more than 30 minutes. However, they were very apologetic about it and the entrees we ordered were SO delicious. My GF eggplant burger was super tasty and the potatoes au gratin were even better. It was creamy, from the cashews I believe, and full of flavour, balanced out with the fresh tomatoes and wilted spinach. It wasn’t oily at all, which I appreciated a lot, and the portion wasn’t huge either. My friends ordered a Nasi Goreng fried rice and the Thai green curry, which were both delicious and they both enjoyed a lot. The food also paired really nicely with Rose. Because of the order delay, the restaurant gave us a complimentary raw raspberry cake. The cake wasn’t the best raw vegan dessert I’ve ever had but still quite good — we appreciated the gesture more than we did the cake. The food wasn’t overpriced at all and we all had a very enjoyable experience.

I read the reviews after eating there and the restaurant experience we had was superb and nothing like what the poor reviews describe. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and courteous including answering questions about the food and history of the building, the food arrived quickly and was amazing. We had the gluten free burger which is tomatoes over eggplant on a bed of au gratin potatoes, go figure but it was amazing. We also had a Thai inspired rice dish that was different and inventive. We also ordered a big salad which was amazingly fresh. For the price, taste and service, this was one of our best meals ever.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. I ordered spinach soup(really good), vegan goulash(heavenly) and raw vegan blueberry cake(out of this world). If I happen to come to Prague, will certainly come here again. I’m from New York and this place is comparable to the best vegan restaurants in NYC.

Don’t get filled by the reviews. This food is not worth the money you pay. Very ordinary food that is overpriced. The soup did not have salt and the cola has no fizz. There are better vegetarian restaurants across from charles bridge that would be worth the walk! The service SUCKS! They are so slow and not hospitable at all. We sat for 3 hours in this restaurant waiting for our food. Horrible service !! WORSTFOODEVER!

This place was amazing! Ended up here a few nights in a row on my holiday In Prague. The Svíčková was delicious! It’s a popular Czech dish and I can see why. Will definitely return on my next trip to the Czech Republic.

I came here twice during my stay in Prague. Had the traditional Czech dish(svíčková, with the dumplings) the first time, and the quesadilla and raw chocolate fruit cake the second time. Both were delicious(especially the quesadilla!) and the service was great. The space itself is very calm and pleasant. Very glad this place exists. Recommended.

This place is laughable. Menu is horrible. I say this with confidence because I tried almost everything. First off portion is tiny. I got 4 starters thinking they would be my dinner. After four huge plates were piled on my table I still didn’t think the meager amount of food on those plates was enough for a proper meal. Homemade spelt bread tastes stale. Double hummus has good taste but texture is chunky. Baked mushroom caps are literally just baked mushroom caps with no seasoning. There is vegan cheese sprinkled on top but it adds nothing to the dish. Beet carpaccio tastes exactly like the mushroom caps because, again, the only seasoning is shredded vegan cheese. The restaurant offers only 2 salads — one green salad, one lentil. I got the green salad and there was almost no greens in it — more like 2 parts chopped bell pepper 1 part tomato. Because the starters I got were so dismal I asked for the menu and decided to get some main, and decided to try the raw zucchini noodles and beetroot burger. The beetroot burger is the only tasty dish I received, but even there the bun was no good. I did enjoy the tartar sauce and baked potatoes on the side. Tempeh bacon in the burger was delicious as well. Raw zucchini noodles has become a generic dish at vegan restaurants now because it is so easy to duplicate — you spiralize some zukes, blend some cashews, basil, olive oil and pine nuts together, mix in the noodles and serve. I also got ginger tea which, according to the waiter, was just ginger, lemon and hot water, and after I finished my first cup he asked me if I wanted a second, when all I needed was just some hot water. I could have made everything on the menu myself with better taste and presentation. What’s laughable about my experience was that I asked for everything to go to be polite because food tasted horrible but I didn’t want to waste it so I thought I’d see if anyone on Charles Bridge was hungry and looking for food, and LoVeg charged me extra for the take out boxes.

This restaurant is not too far from St. Nicholas Church in Lesser Town. It’s up several flights of stairs so it’s away from the noise of the street below. The food is really good and the people nice; my only quibble would be that the size of the main course is quite small. I had the dumpling and it was three one inch square pieces. The dessert portion was much better in terms of size and the dessert itself(the chocolate beetroot cake) was awesome.

LoVeg gets three stars. The food deserves five stars – it is amazing. The service deserves negative 5 stars. I have never, ever been as insulted as I was at LoVeg by our server. We climbed up the giant hill, then proceeded to climb three or four flights of stairs to the restaurant(it’s on the top two floors of their location). I sat down, parched, and the server asked if I wanted sparkling or tap water. As I am responding, I pulled my water out of my bag, parched, that I had just bought, and took a sip. Her immediate response was, «(laugh first) …um… okay.» And then she proceeded to laugh in my face. I then put the bottle back in my large bag and asked for tap water(laughing at me, in my face.) She says, «no, no… in a completely rude and sarcastic manner, I will bring you a glass.» I said, «no, tap water is fine.» She continued to laugh, in my face. She went down stairs to get my husband’s beer and returned with an empty glass for me and set it on the table, while she was laughing at me, in my face. She was laughing so hard, she couldn’t even take our order. Thanks for making one of your foreign patrons feel completely stupid. Would have never took my freaking water out of my bag had I known it was going to be a full meal of this server laughing at me, in my face. POS.

great location with a beautiful view from the little terrace, only two small tables. Good vegan food. Had thequesadillas. Our service was great but the table next to us was awful. They forgot the order and didn’t handle the mistake well.

My wife and I came here after seeing the Prague Castle and loved it. The food is absolutely delicious, healthy and filling. Everything is vegan and the vegan versions of important Czech dishes are real standouts. Also, the prices are quite reasonable and the waitstaff is superfriendly. This is a must-go for vegan tourists after a day of strolling.

Amazing vegan place located on Nerudova street on the way to Prague Castle. The restaurant is situated upstairs with a possibility to see just a bit of a scenery outside, as the windows are quite small to properly admire the view. However, you can definitely enjoy the food and drinks, as everything there seems to taste awesome. The meals are greatly prepared with all appropriate ingredients, and the whole atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The price level is surprisingly medium(considering the touristy area around). The menu is not big, but gives different options such as pasta, burgers, curry, tortilla, hummus, salads, pancakes and cake for the dessert and, of course, a vegan adaptation of popular Czech svickova and goulash. They also have delicious organic coffee. LoVeg has two floors, but the second floor looks more like an attic, and the total area of the restaurant is not big, so the reservation can be useful.
