This café is the definition of ‘hidden gem’. Hiding in plain sight on the edge of the historic center, it’s easy to miss it but it’s a lucky day for those who find it. The coffee here was some of the best I’ve ever had — not just in Prague but anywhere. The staff were lovely. There is free wifi. There is plenty of seating. Nobody tries to rush you out the door. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nothing super special — just a nice café with great coffee, and it deserves the five stars for executing exactly what it is intended to, perfectly.

Walked in and ordered a coffee to go. Paid. Apparently they didn’t hear me when I said«to go.» When I noticed it was being poured into a cup to stay, i I restated that I wanted it to go. The guy picked up a to go cup and said, went to pour it in the cup, and then said no. He said I couldn’t take the drink I ordered, and paid for, to go because he had already used to cup to stay? Worst service ever. Horrible people.

Really really enjoyed spending time in this place. It’s small but cute and quirky at the same time. Think hardwood floors and theatre lighting with dark wood counter and a small coffee shop or local bar vibe. Staff is very friendly and bilingual. Service and quick and they are on top of things here. I got a latte and it was delicious. I also tried a panini(mozz, pesto and tomato). All the ingredients were fresh and it was delicious. The panini and the latte only cost 120 crowns! Only real downfall here was the smoking that is allowed inside. Not even just the guests but also the staff… and while«working.» Sadly since the place is small you can’t get away from it and easily end up smelling like smoke after leaving. Overall though I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, friendly environment and delicious coffee and fresh snacks. I would go back if I wasn’t so disgusted by smoking!

I was looking for a place for lunch and was checking Unilocal, this place appeared. Although it’s a café they serve some lunch foods such as quiche, hummus, soup and panini. I had the cured pork with pesto panini, the pork was delicious, the perfect amount of saltiness, although I’m not surprised as I heard the pork on Czech is amazing. The beers and food are very well priced, I payed about 140koruna for both. Service was awesome, really cool people at the bar, they all spoke good English and were pleasant.

I really like this spot: affordable good coffee, free wifi and an outdoor seating area in the summer. Good to work as it’s relatively quiet. The chairs could be more comfortable though.

This was my favorite café in all of Prague. It’s small and cozy, the wait staff is really nice, and everything on the menu was excellent. The wifi is plenty fast to do whatever you need. It’s mostly populated by students with very few tourists venturing in. This creates an authentic atmosphere but it does leave the place very smokey since cigarettes are allowed.
