Great latte and delicious-looking cakes! Hope to return since I only had a latte. The atmosphere is really nice with plenty of sunlight and it is tucked away, making it a hotspot for locals and not as many tourists. The staff was very friendly and, while they spoke only a small amount of English, communicable in helping me order and pay. Additionally, it’s a great spot to read, chat, or write, given its quiet environment. Very comfortable couches which is a BIG plus! I would definitely go back here!

Definitely one of the favorite coffee shops that I’ve been to in Prague. It’s easily missed, but definitely worth trying. Compared to other places, it has an extremely wide selection of drinks. It drinks from Chai Lattes to Hot Chocolate to more unique things. I got the red cappuccino, which unlike its name would imply, is tea. The worker explained the red cappuccino as a tea that’s made like a coffee(the milky part). It was extremely delicious, and is a little similar to a less sweet version of milk tea. I also got the lavender cheesecake, which was on the pricier side of 89 korunas. I would also recommend that because it had a really light, yet very distinct taste of lavender. I really love this place and would 100% recommend it. However, like other Unilocalers had stated, the wifi here sucks, so if you need wifi don’t come here.

stayed in an airbnb two buildings away from tricafe. went in search of wifi and left filled with delicious goodies and treats. i ordered an elderflower lemonade and one of their gluten free cookies in a glass cake stand near the cash register. both were delicious. a little while later, the waitress came by and gave me a free cappuccino because they made an extra one and then offered to remake my elderflower lemonade because she realised she messed up the recipe(it still tasted delicious!) in the few days that I was in prague, this café was a gem to find. thank you tricafe!

Pretty good. It’s the best latte macchiato I have had in a while.

Cosy little place not far away from Charles bridge in a hidden side street. I’ve been here several times and always had a latte macchiato. At 65 crowns not cheap by local standards, but it comes in quite a large jar and is aromatic and creamy. One of the best ones I had so far anywhere. Minor issue is that their WiFi is kinda flaky, with my Note 4 it took me several minutes to even connect. They have a limited selection of cakes as well, I’ve never tried one myself but I hear they are pretty good.

Calm and bright rooms on a square in old town Prague. Carefully made tasty deserts and great coffee. Used book shelf. Welcoming staff with great attitude(different than many other Prague restaurant service experiences) It’s like you have friends from Prague who have a hip apartment and a great espresso machine!

This is a lovely little coffee place in a court yard away from the busy Prague streets. They have soy milk and almond milk for those who are lactose-intolerant(like me). The pastry selection is homemade and includes gluten free options. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stop for coffee, this place is perfect!

I’ll be coming back. It did not disappoint. I felt like I was sitting in someone’s living room. Very homey /cozy atmosphere. Sat down for a little over an hour, more than enough time for a delicious chai latte and pumpkin soup that was fitting for the season. Owner was super friendly, he made sure I took home a punch card. Most definitely a hidden gem!

Hidden Gem. When we went to this place it was still very new — I think it had only been open 3 weeks but it was a one of the best finds of our visit to Prague last month. Its hidden just off the main touristy walk ways and does not look much from the outside, but it is very cool once your inside. I found Prague in general to be a bit of a tourist trap in terms of restaurants and bars but this was very different. The specialise in cool artisan coffee, lovely red wine and delicious local cakes — all provided at very competitive prices. Inside it is very basic décor, but that’s on purpose the owner wants it to be all about the food and drink on offer and the general experience inside. The Barista/Barman seemed a really good guy, he ended up sitting having some wine with us and chatting about Prague, the best food places, the sites to see and life in general! It is something different from all the other places on offer serving beer(which I usually love) 24⁄7. The red wine on offer was epic!
