Our favorite Trdelnik place in Prague! Me and my sister didn’t know what Trdelnik was to begin with but saw Good Food making them on our way to meet our tour group. We said we wanted to try local street food so we tried it on a whim. It was so good as a snack! Even when we consumed it hours later since we were still full when we bought it. We had to come back a second time on the same day, before we head out to Berlin. Thanks Good Food, this is one of our memorable snacks on our Europe trip :)

Been here twice since coming to Prague… the chimney pastries with whipped cream and strawberries are amazing — light and not too sugary and wrapped to go before your devour them going to the Charles Bridge… well worth going to if you are in the Bridge area…

Love the«chimneys» they have here! First off it smells SOOGOOD, so warm, and so delightfully sweet. I ordered a chimney original which is the freshly baked and turned bread that’s shaped like a long bun and hallow inside with sugar and nuts on the outside. The result? An irresistibly light, slightly sweet bread that was delicious and warm. In addition, because the layers of the chimney are so thin, you feel good eating the pastry and doesn’t leave you feeling bloated and heavy like a lot of other buttery pastries you may find in the shops. The texture has a little crunch on the outside but the inside is so thin, light, and fluffy! Tastes so good! Must try for 60 crowns! You can also get it with chocolate on the inside, ice cream inside, or as a savory sandwich! b

Since arriving in Prague, we saw trdelnik stands(a local sugary pastry) everywhere and resisted buying one for a while. We’d passed Good Food several times and, since it was one of the few shops that served ice cream with the pastries, we gave it a try. We ordered the«chimney blizzard,» which was a pretty mean trdelnik filled with soft serve ice cream, chocolate, and strawberries. It was quite refreshing during the hot, summer evening and was worth waiting in the short line for. The dessert was a bit expensive compared to many of the other ice cream shops around, but still an excellent treat worth trying.
