Brought our large(38×75″) painting to be framed. The work cost $ 780, and was delivered 2 weeks late. We didn’t get any phone calls from them, and twice we were promised that it would be done in a couple days when it was not. No one seemed really apologetic about it. The actual work isn’t bad — some minor defects like an interior scratch to the acrylic, and what looks to be a small splinter in one of the corners. It was hard getting the finished product in and out of my SUV, and at this point I really didn’t want to bring it back and wait another 2−3−4 weeks for them to fix it. My suggestion would be to pay a little more and do it somewhere else where there’s better communication.

National art and framing used to be located off Pickett Street near Van Dorn station. My first experience with them was fantastic. It was called All Around Art. They did an exceptional job on one of my sister’s rice paper drawing. Years later the framing still looks stunning. It looks like a work in a gallery. Since they’ve moved to Bradlee Shopping Center, I’ve noticed the quality was not the same but I was still a loyal customer. I dropped of a photo in a frame almost a month ago and all it needed was new matting. They not only took forever to do the job but they botched it up and still charged so much. They didn’t even care that I was unhappy with them. They lost a loyal customer today.

Bryan at National Art and Framing was absolutely fantastic. My brother died unexpectedly and I needed a photo enlarged for the memorial service. Bryan turned the project around beautifully in less than a day during a super-busy time for them, and was very, very kind to me in a difficult time. The picture is beautiful and will be an important keepsake for my brother’s widow and their children. Thank you. Your help was greatly appreciated.
