My boyfriend and I are chained to this place, it’s food is amazing every time and the service is always impeccable. Always our first choice for breakfast!

I wrote my entry in the check-in section. Delicious diner food. Exactly what I wanted for breakfast today! Will return soon :)

I will always go out of my way to eat here. I feel guilty at the low prices at times. The best burgers. Dave, the owner, is a cook who believes in homemade. They have a daily special board as well as a menu with sandwiches and burgers. And of course breakfast is served all day, which is only til 1:30 so don’t go too late. Don’t be intimidated by the exterior of this diner. It is all about good home cooked meals.

This place has good dark coffee. My omelette was a thin crêpe-like egg expertly rolled over my ham and cheese like a burrito. Awesome diner appeal. CASHONLY. Yeah, I could write 3 pages, but you get the point.

This diner has backstory. Like, nearly 90+ years of backstory. Luckily, you don’t have to listen to it to put in an order. I’ve stopped off for breakfast at this place a few dozen times, and typically I get bacon and eggs in some form or another. It’s always quick, and dinertastic. I mean, it’s breakfast at a New England diner. You know what you’re signing up for. The waitstaff is nice. The cook makes whatever you order, as you order. The bathroom is a little old school. I would go here anytime, as long as I’m hungry, and possibly hungover. It’s all very good. Go here, and eat food as the High Lord of New England intended.

Been by this diner many times on my Sunday morning rides, and it was always closed. Turns out that they are closed on Sundays. I decided to stop in this morning before going to work. This diner is now in its third resting spot since 1921 and is named after the current owner’s girlfriend, hence,“Claudett’s 1921 Diner”.Nothing original about the exterior but on the inside you can plainly see the old time stuff, including the worn marble counter. No frills kind of a place just decent diner food, served in a quick manner by friendly people. Very short money will get you a satisfying meal here. Cash only.

This is my local diner of choice, so I am thoroughly biased. If you expect a sliced-orange garnish with your eggs you will be disappointed. But, if you want a breakfast that is good, fast, hot and inexpensive(all the things diner food should be) then you will be happy. Claudette’s is classic New England diner — counter service in a diner-car with an add-on room to the side with 6 or so tables and booths. (My son likes Dave’s Duo — tons of French toast/pancakes, eggs, bacon for $ 7 or so. Good deal if you are hungry.) Opens early(6AM) during the week.

Solid diner, all the New England classics. Seating at counter and at add-on. Wish they’d perk up the exterior a bit
