Two and a half stars, I love anything with pasta and pizza and whatever but the customer service is kinda just… they seem a little pushy. Not to mention one of the newer employees I believe, that they’ve hired, seem like she just hates her life and just has a bad attitude, I thought maybe it was me but she doesn’t smile at any of the customers and is just monotoned. And the Asian lady I believe to be the manager is nice but seems a little pushy. I understand that she wants things fast paced which is good tho.

Training NEEDED!!! Although the customer service was great, the young girl who was eager to help, quickly went to retrieve the answer to my question, «do you serve gluten free pizza»? She wasn’t sure so she went to find out. Then she was told that they did have gluten free pizza and I asked her, which one was in fact gluten free and pointed to the ‘one’. This was yesterday, 8÷25÷15. Today, I went back to the same store in the Cerritos Mall for more gluten free pizza, only to find out that they DON’T serve gluten free pizza! STRUGGLE! Please train your employees. Again, the girl didn’t know and asked who I only can say was likely to be the manager; who confidently said all the pizza WAS gluten free! AND when I asked him if he knew what gluten was, he CONFIDENTLY replied,“yes”. Clearly he did not. My daughter is allergic, however luckily not to a point of great illness. She has severe Eczema but it’s enough to make my baby suffer. Please TRAIN your managers!!!

Being that I have been to this place, and other Sbarro locations in the past, I have never been much of a fan of their pizza. Maybe it is because I come on a bad day or such, but to me, the pizza is just average. I mostly come for their lasagna. Located right inside the food court of Cerritos Mall, I decided to venture here one day before my work shift just to eat. From lasagna to pizzas to risotto to ziti, they got you all covered. I went for the lasagna. It was good with the right amount of marinara sauce. They do give you a slice of garlic bread to pair it with. Being that this place is located right in a food court of a mall, do not expect to get the best of the best here. I say that mostly because their lasagna didn’t sit to well for me afterwards. But, that is no reason for me to bash the business. Hey, it happens to us all at times. I have tried just about every item this place has to offer(not the Cerritos location!) Everything ha had its own experience. Some good and some, well, not so good. Would I return? Maybe… especially if I am craving their lasagna.

I haven’t had Sbarros in years. So as I was walking around the food court I had a sudden craving for their baked ziti. I wish I would of read the reviews first because like what other people said it was tasteless. I ordered the combo which came with a side and bread stick. I couldn’t even finish my meal not even half(and I can eat) the ziti noodles tasted under cooked and the sauce for the ziti and the side dish of meatball lacked flavor. To add to this disappointing meal it was cold even the breadstick. The only thing that tasted good was the drink(Dr. Pepper).

Realistically they should take this out of the food court. I work in the mall and eat here probably once a month or so and its only for convenience. The food sucks. The pizza is super greasy, the pasta has no flavor. The best thing they have here is the pasta salad and lately they haven’t even had that. It’s also way over priced. The people who work here are nice though. I’ve never had any issues besides the basic food.

I have always love Sbarros. However, for some odd reason, this particular Sbarros always have the best baked ziti. Please keep in mind, this is a fast food restaurant in the mall. You will pay for what you get, so don’t expect five-star pizza. The customer service makes up for the food. They are always super friendly and helpful. In terms of mall quality, this is one of the better places.

Everytime I go, I give them a chance they will be better this time. Nope I was wrong. It’s not hard and doesn’t take much time to make pizza. It’s pizza and it should taste good and be fresh.

One of the last few sbarros pizza around! I do not care how far I have to drive, I will never stop coming here! The employees at this location are always so friendly and never rude like at other locations! There is one employee here, she’s quite possibly the nicest sbarro worker I’ve ever encountered and genuinely nice! It’s always a pleasure to see she’s still working here! Glad they have not closed this location! :-)

I’ve been here 3 times the last couple of months and the employees are very welcoming and enthusiastic. I love that type of customer service. Great customer service etiquette. And it’s in a mall, So I don’t really expect happy customer service but these guys are awesome.

Inside a mall; never have I ever seen otherwise the airport is an exception. The system of receiving the food first makes me feel trusted despite of ethnic stereotypes that have lead others to believe those of my tint to be untrustworthy. The employee(female) was quite nice and seemed excited to serve another customer. She had let me sample their divine garlic bites which had made my day. The service was better than most fast food industries I have attended. The pizza like always never disappoints and I plan on returning to any of their fine establishments.

Sudo-Italian Mall Food When I was a mall rat I didn’t know any better and would eat here all the time. Partly because being a lid back in the day I had no job, and really no money aside from what my parents gave me. So this place worked for me. The portions sizes at the time were good to sooth my raging stomach growls and gave me enough energy to continue to walk up and down the in the mall with friends laughing and talking and giggling because between the ages of 12 – 14 everything is funny even when it’s not. I would always get the Calzone because back in the day we also didn’t care how much white bread we consumed. In fact it was like a food group. It was always good and hot considering it was probably sitting out for at least 30 to 45 mins under those little heat lamps. They did their job. Now that my pallet has THANKFULLY changed I am grateful to have had the experience but glad I don’t have to settle for this type of Italian food. If you in the mall it will do its job and feed you, but don’t expect that it is actually Italian food. Keep feeding the mall rats!

The food is not fresh. I can’t imagine how many hours the same food is sitting out before they sell it. And to make it worse, the ingredients they use are nasty, like old yellowing broccoli. Insult to injury? This bad food is overpriced. A slice and small drink cost more than $ 7. If you want pizza at the mall, go to BJ’s across the street!

$ 4.00 for a slice of peperoni pizza? With prices that high and subpar quality in your food, this location is doomed. No wonder my daughter said she didn’t like it.

Who doesn’t love free pizza? Mamma Mia! Got my Free NY cheese via FB coupon last week. Yummy! This was a large slice, a whole was cut into six slices. Before all the pizza establishments in the early 80s, this used to be my favorite place. I remember dining in and having a deep dish pizza here. Melting cheese goodness. I don’t normally review these chains but I thought I put in a word or two since their review here are mostly 1 stars. The food is what it is. It isn’t quite as good as it once was. When I was using my coupon, It took 2 people 10 minutes to figure out. Regardless, we got our free pizza. However, they had forgotten our last slice. I had to remind them 30 minutes later that we should have one more left. So service, though it’s a food court, was spotty. You can park behind the mall on the backside for quicker entrance to here.

NOTE: I’m actually giving this sorry excuse for a pizzaria ZEROSTARS! I used to love this place when I was a kid… warm, fresh and gooey was the Sbarro norm. Fast foward 15, maybe 16 years, I was truely shocked at how disgusting the food here has become. I was craving some pizza after my black Friday shopping so I thought I’d give my childhood love a try. Big mistake. I guess they rebake the pizza when you order your combo, which I didn’t really think twice about until I bit into it… hard, burnt, and tasteless. I thought it was bad enough my cheese and toppings had slid off to the side, but the taste was inexcusable. The fact that when I turned the slice over and it was burnt BLACK was ridiculous. On top of all that, the bread sticks were stale and HARD. I brought the leftovers home to my dogs and even they wouldn’t touch it, that’s how bad it was! I can’t believe I paid 8 bucks for this crap. Never again.

Ate here the other day for the first time in years. I was hungry in the food court but didn’t want to spend much. The pizza was way to bready and not enough sauce or flavor. Oh yeah it was $ 4 for a slice. Um, Meh.

Cerritos Mall needs to kick Sbarro’s out of their food court right now. I remember it being pretty good back in the day but somewhere along the way it took a wrong turn and headed into Disgusting Foodsville. I just ate there today and boy, was it terrible. I got a slice of the pepperoni and sausage pizza and the first bite had me thinking, «Oh, man, this is even worse than Shakey’s!» Then after the second bite I decided that elementary school lunch pizzas were gourmet compared to this crap. Don’t ask me why, but I actually took a third bite after which I concluded that I could make better pizza at home with a slice of bread, ketchup, salami, grated parmesan cheese, and a toaster oven. Yessiree, folks, it is THAT bad. You’re much better off eating at the wannabe Japanese place next to Sbarro’s or even the sad Chinese place that took over Panda Express that never gets any business.
