Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – Corona

Would not recommend. If you like cold, dry brisket that’s impossible to cut because of the flimsy disposable silver-​wear, then by all means give it a try. Won’t eat here again.

Love the food here, we had a ton of people and so much food, everyone was happy with what they ordered. The best part was the fried okra!!! The staff was awesome, super friendly and fast!

First time here so we didn’t really know what to expect. So you order your meat by the pound and your ribs by half or whole rack. Then you move down and order you side’s with the «sides guy». And at the end of the line up you pay and they give you your food and you seat yourself. So food is super fast (no waiting) kinda nice. All the meat was delicious and the smoked flavor was great. Our pulled pork was pull apart tender and our beef brisket had a nice outside crust. We ordered three Caesar salads as our sides and those were delicious as well. Noise level was kinda loud but I think it’s just because people really love the food and atmosphere is very family oriented:)

I like their food and came here every once in a while. When i saw a groupon deal I got it since I figured I would use them in the two months I had before they expired. When I tried to use one, however, they didn’t want to take it for their daily specials. If you don’t want to take them for that, fine, but perhaps posting something on the daily menu would be in order, instead of waiting until I get to the register and saying «oh we don’t take those for that.»
In trying to get these groupons refunded but either way, I doubt I’ll be back to this or any other Dickeys.

They were out of ribs at 5:30pm on a Saturday. No joke. Their number 1 item, just before the dinner rush.

Once again, poor service at this location. I bought the Groupon offer to save money and figured it wouldn’t be that bad here instead of my usual Eastvale location I go to. However, I was proved wrong today. 6.95 for a PLAIN baked potato? That’s a JOKE. Then, on top of that, I had to get refund for it because it wasn’t even cooked all the way through! When I initially asked for a refund, I was not rude at all about it, yet the guy working the meat today at 5:30pm, felt the need to look at me like I was stupid and then laugh and walk to the back area and get someone else to deal with me. the cashier girl was very nice atleast. I would also like to point out that the 2 guys on the line, meat and sides, did not once greet a customer that walked in, and we suspected them of possibly laughing at a few customers. Just ridiculous how I always have an issue here. I’ll come back to spend the rest of my Groupon money and never return hopefully. HOPEFULLY my money for the potato is back on my debit card soon, they didn’t really seem to know if it was going to be refunded or not. Guess we’ll see.
Whoever owns this location, please get your customer service on point and bake your potatoes longer. That is all.

My Giant Baker was way under cooked and when we asked for a refund the guy in the yellow shirt who was working the meat (at 5:30pm today) laughed in my girlfriends face. He was kinda rude from the start but I didn’t really care until he did that. This is the 3^rd time I’ve come to this dickeys and yet again there was a problem. On the good side the young manager and young girl working the register were both very nice and helpful.

Love this place. Their giant baker is perfect. I am greater with a smile every time I walk in. Their customer service is A+. Given the minimum wage increase, I appreciate that they do not beg for tips. I hear it is against their corporate policy. I recommend this place for a classic bbq flavor.

The meats were cold and so were the sides. I was expecting the green beans to be fresh and not canned. The potatoes were also cold, nasty! For all the hype you’d think that they’d figure out a way to keep the meats hot or at least warm, and drizzling warm juice over them is not gonna heat up the meat.

Anybody that knows barbecue knows that brisket is to be sliced across the grain because it is not the tenderest meat in the world when I pointed this out to the young lad behind the counter he proceeded to tell me that his family in New York is in the barbecue business and that’s how they do it it’s the correct way, now I’m not one that likes to complain but when a young whippersnapper behind the counter argues with the customer this is not a good sign

First time visiting Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. I loved the pulled pork and polish sausage western combo Wednesday special. Delicious. Nice service by sure I will be back.

Dickies BBQ is Electric smoked, so it’s basically cooking your meats in an oven. This is generally not a good process for smoking meats. I tried the 3 meat meal, I ordered pork ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Sides were Mac n cheese and baked potato casserole. After dickies meats are «smoked» (baked) they are wrapped in Saran Wrap until you order. Wrapping in Saran Wrap causes moisture to get trapped and gives the meats a soggy exterior loosing any bark/​crust. Membrane in ribs were not removed which is a no no. Customer service was friendly, BBQ was just not good. Would you throw a couple wood chips in your oven at home and tell people you smoked some meats or BBQ’D?

Great food, sweet tea, and free ice cream!!! What else can I say!!! So glad they opened! Yummy! Customer service is great. Love it!

Went to eat here for dinner and the food is not that great. The atmosphere and service is decent though. This barbecue place did not meet my expectations because the meat to cost ratio for a dinner was not worth the flavor nor the price. Felt like fast food BBQ which is what I would label this place as.

This place is a great find. Sides are thoughtful and loaded with flavor! The meat is tender and moist! The place is family friendly. Even though they were out of ribs when we arrived, we will definitely be coming back and look forward to trying them then!

Here we are again! I called this evening to place an order and explained to the server that we had been offered a free family pack due to my last horrible experience. I made it clear to the girl when I ordered this evening but also hadn’t found the offer at the time but asked her to speak to her manager about it and in the least give us a discount (I’m not a mooch by any means). As my husband approached the facility he noticed a line out the door. As he entered the establishment it was pure chaos! Once again, no manager to be found, disgruntled customers and In the end after another $ 67 spent! Our meal was not comped as there was so much chaos there was never an option to ask for a manager!!! I will be taking this to corporate at this point. Connie, I don’t know if you work or if you were there but it seems you are way above your head with this establishment. I am now deserved 2 comped meals at this point and I’d rather have my money back!!! I will post what $ 67 gets you at Lucilles and Wood ranch. You will be surprised!

Absolutely brilliant.
Great service (thanks in particular to Trevor), fantastic food, and a nice atmosphere. We had the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. The brisket had a great flavorful crust with an amazing texture. I would definitely recommend the brisket over the ribs or pulled pork, but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
I look forward to visiting again!

I’m not a BBQ person, but this place is awesome. Great pulled pork, mac n cheese, & free soft serve.
If there are 3 or more in your party, definitely get one of the family pack deals.
If you like spicy food add jalapeños to your mac n cheese & get the spicy BBQ sauce. Too die for :)

My husband wanted to bring me here after church because he knows how much I love me some good barbeque. He has been to this location one other time and had a good experience. I have been eating barbeque since I was able to eat solid food, and that has been a long, long time.
We arrived at about 12:45pm, and there was no wait to order, and there were a lot of empty tables. We ordered our food, and it was handed to us fairly quickly. I ordered the two meat sandwich and my husband ordered the three meat plate.
Our food and meats were barely warm, and I would say they were almost cold. The sides were very hot. When we walked up the brisket was out on the cutting board, and the guy behind the counter was pulling other meats from a hot box. Apparently not very hot.
The flavor of the meats were good and they were very tender. The mashed potato casserole was good, but I probably wouldn’t order the macaroni and cheese again. Bleh. I told my husband that if this was our first experience here I wouldn’t return, but since he had been before and had good things to say I would most likely try it again.
I would suggest that they start using a meat thermometer and checking the meat temps before they serve it to the guests. I’m just glad I didn’t get sick. Come on Dickey’s…you can do better than this!

Tried this place for lunch and we were very impressed! There was no line, fast friendly service, decent atmosphere (great music!) and FABULOUS BBQ! And very reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Ordered the picnic pack and got some ribs which includes 2 sides and some rolls. The rolls taste old and it’s not as soft as I would like it to be. The ribs are soft and full of flavor but it lacks that certain taste that I enjoy going to other barbecue places. The Mac and Cheese is decent but then again you can’t ruin mac and cheese! The service and atmosphere is okay but I still prefer going to the Eastvale branch.

Very disappointed with their Beef Brisket. I literally paid for a fatty filled sandwich. Worst part I specifically asked for lean meat with no fat, I have never had a problem with this request at this Dickey’s location and others too, but tonight the meat server was way off. It was tough to eat this once I got home and cleaned out all the fat :(

Establishment is clean and decorated nicely. Food isn’t so nice though. I order the 3 Meats Plate with Brisket, Ribs and Pulled Pork. It was served COLD! I left the manager know and they brought me out another plate which was still cold. Very disappointing. The meat wasn’t anything fantastic… it lacked flavor tremendously. My boyfriend ordered the same with Caesar Salad… which had no dressing or croutons. As much as I wanted to enjoy this place I will not be returning. $ 35 for two +cold food. I will say the staff was friendly, but food is a no go!
Oh free ice cream… yet that still doesn’t make up for the food!

You can always tell when management cares about its customers! The employees are super friendly, especially Jared. They communicate well and were fast. Restaurant was clean. That’s a big deal!!!

Honestly I’m a big dickeys fan and this will be my new «home» location.

They get stars because the place was clean and looked cool inside.
Went in on a Tuesday evening and place was relatively empty. I was the only person in line. Here’s my order:
Brisket sandwich
Mac n cheese
Green beans with bacon.
The bun was not toasted or even warmed. The meat was dry and had no «bbq flavor». The sauce was very thin and had no flavor at all! My sandwich was made incorrectly. The sides were also bland and boring. The entire meal looked and tasted like school cafeteria food when I was a kid. Another lousy food option in so cal! If you go to this plaza, eat at the other options across the pk lot! Hopefully Dickey’s can improve quickly!

Quick service, friendly staff, clean environment & delicious food. Definitely worth trying you even get free soft serve.
