Rented 3 beach cruisers for myself and two children. Though we all tried them out before we set off, my son said quickly that his was uncomfortable and that he didn’t like not having hand brakes. We turned around and they switched his bike with a smile and no hassles. We had a great day riding around. I really appreciated that they included locks, helmets, and baskets. Will definitely go back.

I got recommended this place for bike rental so I took my boyfriend to cruise around coronado. I have the most wonderful time here, not only because of the views but I have not ridden a bike in years and I’m pretty petite so I was having trouble picking out the right size bike. Thank you for the amazing customer service for helping me find the right bike I felt comfortable with.

The people here give excellent customer service they are so friendly and respectful. The bikes here are great, they ride perfectly fine and smooth. I rented a bike for 8 $ an hour. I would totally recommend this place. I had so much fun. The employee here actually gave me 10 minutes extra for free. I thought it was waaay cheaper to rent a bike here than other places that i went to in coronado. I went with my family which it was 6 of us and road for about 1 hour and a half and was charged 50 $ it was a great price for our budget. I am definetly coming back to this place. I’m actually thinking about coming to this place and purchase a beach cruiser

Just got done with a nice ride with my buddy Bill heading to Coronado from Swiss park and back… And then… POP!!! Back tire blows just when we reach Coronado ferry landing… Luckily this shop was open still and closes in 1 hr at 7pm… So we rushed down there and we made it in no problem, the guys were great… Very friendly and helpful and we were in n out in no time!!! The service guy gave us a little tips as we watched him swap out my tire as we are rookies haha!!! He also lubed up my chain for me (no extra charge). Riding over 1200 miles on the back tire… It was time to get a new one! Thank you Holland Cycles for staying open and not closing early cause they said they were planning to but now there second thinking it :)
Definitely check this shop out for the great customer service!!! You won’t regret it!

Hopped on the ferry on Sunday morning with my bike to enjoy a nice day of biking on Coronado. Instead I ended up with a punctured tire. The emergency patch wouldn’t hold because the seam on the tube was also splitting. I was stuck. A nice stranger told me where the nearest bike shop was, which was Holland’s. Within 20 minutes they replaced both tires and tubes for me (it was time) and I was on my way again. The crew in the shop were really friendly and efficient. Definitely did good by me. Thank You Holland’s!

Went into Holland’s a couple of hours ago to buy a new pair of riding shorts. I was the only customer in the store along with two clerks. The young man behind the register told me the shorts were in the back room. No offer to help at all! Went to the room in the back and found the riding shorts inventory to be disorganized, brands and pricing mixed up and also lacking in selection.
Prior to this I found Holland’s to be tops in help and information, product selection and over all service was always above and beyond.
I was shortly on my way out and, of course, the clerks were chatting away.
I would have given one star, but the store location is good, situated in the heart of one of the most affluent communities in San Diego.

Recently purchased an Electra «Townie» cruiser from Holland’s and am over the moon about my experience. I walked in the store not exactly knowing what I DIDN’T want, and the help I was given narrowed things down quite. Bit for me. The bike I wanted was in stock (huzzah!), but not assembled. I was told they would be able to assemble it that day and give me a call to return. Went to the beach and got some rays in and got a call only about an hour later to let me know my new ride was ready.
One of the best parts about my experience was that I was able to bring my dog, Apollo in, for my visit into the shop. He was showered with attention and welcomed with open arms.
I will be returning (of course!) for my lifetime of free tune-​ups.
A++ all the way around!

It’s been a while since I have purchased a bike here. I’m so glad to know that the incredible level of service is still present. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and they are embedded in the community. I landed a great bike for commuting for a very reasonable price. These guys were great! I went in looking for a new tire tube and they hooked me up. Explained how easy it was to replace. And way competitive in pricing even in the beautiful people haven of Coronado. I own a Trek and their tubes were have the price than Trek Superstore in Escondido. I will always use these guys again in the future. Great Service, Great People!

My family has bought bikes from Holland’s since I was a kid. I recently brought in an old bike to take advantage of the lifetime maintenance that they offer. In about ten minutes the guy fixed all the creaks and squeaks and also the problems I was having with the brakes rubbing. No charge.

Ran up to Hollands from my apartment in TJ this morning to get blowout on my front tire repaired. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly their mechanic fixed it. Thought I might have to wait an hour or two or pick it up the next day but it was done in about 15 minutes. Mechanic thoroughly checked tire for damage, installed new inner tube and aligned wheel after re-​mounting wheel. Reasonable price.

Took my daughters beach cruiser in with a flat tire. Service was fantastic and friendly. It took longer to find a parking space than to replace the tube and get her back on the road. It is no wonder they have been in business so long. Every time I go to the bike store they have what I need and are super friendly. Great job; keep up the good work.

Perfect way to see Coronado Island! The bikes were comfy, cute and very reasonable price! All the guys who work there are helpful and so sweet. You can easily take the bus from the Ferry Landing to get there!
