Wings N More

Drove from out of town for a doctors appointment for my son a coworker told me about this place and how good the food was so I figured I would give it a try since I love wings. We went in and were seated in the back of this huge restaurant the server came and took our order the food came out 5 minutes later which seemed completely wrong to me. I ordered the wings hot with ranch and fries my wife ordered the chicken fried steak her food looked good so I tried a bite it was the worst no seasoning or anything I went to my wings and they were these little pieces of dried meat with sauce on them I could tell they were old and not very good food was terrible but the service was great only ate 4 of the ten wings then had to go find wingstop for some real wings never again will they get my business

The food is mediocre. The service at the bar area was average. I was unsatisfied with this place because I was celebrating my birthday with friends and was uniformed that there is a last call for alcohol before 10pm. The manager served my friend without asking anyone else if they needed anything and when our waitress finally came to our table at 10:03 I asked for a drink and was told it was past last call. Who stops selling alcohol at 10 pm? I spoke to the manager and made him aware i would be writing this review. This is exactly why i prefer other places in corpus christi. …skip this place!

Decided to eat at this establishment after my cousins graduation which was a party of 16. Per my cousins request because this is his favorite restaurant. After checking in with the hostess we were informed that we could not be seated as a «large» party, in fact offered to seat us on two opposite ends of the restaurant. After speaking with a manager who told us that he would not be able to seat us closer together and continued to argue with us. By far the worse managerial skills I have seen thus far by that «manager» eventually we spoke with another manager who had no problem with accommodating us as best as he could, but what really made our awful experience better was the waitress by the name of Nicole she was extremely present. I’m not sure I would ever frequent this again if I come back to town because of the hassle we received upon arrival but the wings were good. Customer service is everything!

I’m a bit behind in my review, but wanted to still write one regardless. We spent about a month in Corpus Christi this summer and this ended up being one of our favorite stops. The wings were delicious. As I sit here in my hometown of Indianapolis, I find myself missing and thinking often about the parmesan garlic boneless wings. Wishing that Indianapolis had something nearly as awesome (where wings are concerned).
So thank you, Wings N More, for being so good, months later, you are still on my mind.

Love the food, but today wasn’t the best experience. We were sat in the bar area and after sitting and ordering appetizers and drinks they informed us we were not allowed to wear «tank tops» in the bar area. We asked if we could in the regular area and he said yes. He stated it was the owners decision for this and that that was that. Once walking down the stairs the manager was looking at us and shaking his head as if we should of known.
Since when can’t a guy wear a sleeve less shirt in a bar area but okay in the family area. Makes no sense. Between the rudeness of the manager and the waitress talking under her breath I’ll give them 1 star. This will be the last time we visit here.

Went on a Saturday night and was surprised how dead it was. Luckily, a friend and I were quickly greeted and sat down. no wait. Our waitress was nice and got our order out in a timely manner. I love coming here for the chicken tenders and curly fries. Was only missing my garlic toast, but I wasn’t going to go crazy over it. Also, I ordered a margarita and it was a bit watered down, but nothing to complain about. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

OK, decided to come here to watch the World Series. The beer was good and cold, just the way we like it. When it comes time to order wings my better half and I decide on a 16 piece with a variety of sauces, four to be exact, we were told we get only two choices. REALLY!!! I guess when you get to be successful you start to ignore and FORGET it’s the customer who got you there and it’s the customer who will bring you down. Next time I’ll drive a little further and go to Buffalo Wild Wings, they know how to treat customers. Only one star for not listening to the customer

Not bad. The thing I like in this restaurant is that there’s no long wait to serve your food. Food looks good… Tastes nothing extraordinarily special. The staff seems friendly.

Eh! the food is nothing special the only thing we actually liked were the mozzarella sticks & the service those were the only things that were good.

Amazing place! Last time I was here i was pregnant and headed to the hospital to get induced! Lol it was my last meal before delivering my baby boy!!! Now it’s bigger and better! Perfect place to hang out or feast with your family! I give it 2 up

It hurts me to give not-​so-​good reviews. Especially when it comes to wings. Wings are my life. I’d marry a basket if I could. And this place didn’t really do them justice :/.
Upon entering, we got greeted and sat by the manager, which was unusual. But he was really nice. They have tons of TV’s everywhere. Nice decorations too (if you’re into football). I was really hungry this day, so I got an appetizer, expecting my food to take around 10 – 15 minutes. I decided to go with the pickle chips, or basically fried pickles. They came out hot, fresh, and really fast. By this time we knew what we wanted so we ordered.
I got 10 wings, half medium and half teriyaki. The medium wings were just buffalo, but had a mild kick to them. This is where things got sort of off hand. While eating wings, I felt the oil that they fried them in seeping down my chin. Usually I wouldn’t mind it. But it was just straight oil. I could feel the pockets in the wing filled with oil burst into my mouth as I bit down. The wings were also 50% skin. The only good thing about the skin was that it had a really good crunch to it. The fries weren’t near anything special. Whataburger has better fries than them. They were just curly. And the cups for the ranch are way too small, so I looked like an idiot trying to stuff a square peg into a circular whole when dipping my wings in ranch. I did eat pretty much everything and got full for the rest of the day. We paid, and left. (They have decent prices).
I’d come back again to try something other than wings, but the next time I’m craving wings, this isn’t the spot.

Good food and awesome customer service. The waitress was friendly. The piña colada was pretty good. The manager was very professional and quick to resolve an issue we had with the order. Definitely coming back.

Off to a bad start… We have 4 adults and two newborns dining tonight… And they won’t seat hubby and I until at least half of the party shows up… Guess they have to have one of the newborns here too…
So much for ordering an appetizer and bear while we wait for the rest of the family.,
It’s a dead Wednesday night people… Really?
Well the manager finally came thru for us and got is seated. Good Caribbean chicken skewers with great seasoning. Not bad after all

Someone once said, «You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.» These are simple words of wisdom that can describe Wings N More. We really enjoyed Wings N More while we lived in the Coastal Bend. The wings are among the best that we’ve had (and we’ve been all over) and the other things (e.g., fried dill pickles, onion strings, chicken fried steak, etc…) are really good.
From what I understand, the wings at Wings N More are a hybrid wing that combine both Buffalo and Miami style wings.
I would LOVE to find a Wings N More type of restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area/​Silicon Valley! We do have a few wing restaurants (such as Wing Stop, SmokeEaters, BonChon, Von’s, Jang Mo Jip, etc…), but they either offer Korean wings (very good… but not the same as typical American hot wings), greasy fried (Wing Stop) or just not as good as Wings N More (SmokeEaters, et al.).
In addition to wings, it is difficult to find a chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken, onion strings and appetizers that you find at Wings N More. Each time we fly back to South Texas, we make sure to stop at Wings N More. Prior to our most recent trip, we read some negative reviews and heard criticism of the restaurant (since they moved to the new location), but we still gave it a chance. We were glad we did!
I will say this: The new location lacks some of the charm of the old location. I miss seeing the college and pro flags/​pennants all over the walls or the raised dining hall. It would be nice to see this location decorated with something distinct (even some local high school, Islander or Javelina gear on the walls).
Like I said, you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone (or until you’re gone — it is true either way). Good hybrid hot wings, chicken fried steak, fried pickle chips and onion strings might be unknown or unavailable when you wander outside the confines of Texas (or area code 361). Enjoy it while you have access to it!

The wings are not very good. Also didn’t like the chicken tenders. For a wing place, the wings should be the best thing on the menu. So far, we’ve only enjoyed the burger. The chicken salad was very good and spicy. We got margaritas, I got on the rocks and my boyfriend got frozen. Mine tasted like lemonade while his had a lot of alcohol in it. Told the manager and she would not let me switch. Sad that this place is right next to our apartment complex and I don’t want to come more often.

I have loved this place for years, the food is really good, really consistent. The atmosphere is nice to hang out with friends after work. Super fast service and everyone is always friendly.
Then last night I wanted to go celebrate a promotion and they wanted to split up my party of 12. I asked if we could at least get tables next to each other and it was a big NO. Now I understand that large parties are a hassle and everyone wants separate tickets and its a mess. But, they wouldn’t even try to accommodate us. Really disappointed. Probably will be a while until I return.

This place stays packed, it doesn’t matter what night it is, and if there’s a game on it forget about it! This alone should tell you how great the atmosphere and food is here. The buffalo sauce and ranch is especially tasty, and they have a pretty good chicken fried steak as well. Food is priced right, and they have daily drink specials.

This place moved around the corner, so I’m not sure if this is the old address or the new one.
This place is just ok. They have several tv’s around the place, so it has the feel of a sports bar. The onion rings were tasty. The food is a little pricey for what you get and the portions are small. Despite the buffalo sauce, the food is bland and not very well seasoned.
The service is subpar. Which is a good match for the food. If you are in a hurry, don’t come here.
