So first of all, this is NOT Chatime! They sell some of Chatime’s teas and I believe it used to be Chatime at one point but that’s about it. This place is called Bubble Cha Cha. It’s a «discount» bubble tea shop. I was desperate for bubble tea so went for it. I ordered the rose milk tea with red bean. It seems their milk tea is really good — flavorful and creamy. BUT I do not appreciate being lied to. I asked for no sugar. That means I don’t want my drink to be sweet at all(except for red bean and any sweetness from the flavoring). So they nod, but give me a pre-made milk tea base with added rose syrup. Turns out they sweeten their tea ahead of time. Now, mind you, the end result was quite delicious, but I could not finish it due to the sweetness level. Plus, their toppings are laid out on the counter in open containers, so if you walk by and scratch your head, your hair and whatever else lives on your head may end up inside. And they get a lot of customers.

Awful bubble tea location. I am not picky when it goes to bubble tea and love all bubble tea in New York — Coco, Chatime, Vivi, etc so this is saying a lot. This ChaTime location in Flushing is awful. — Workers are rude — Orders are not put in correctly — Drinks are mixed up — There are long lines — Service is slow — Pricing is inconsistent They will charge you extra for things without you noticing. How shady. I am always frustrated when I come here. Will never come back again.

Another Taiwanese bubble tea chain, another location in Flushing. This Roosevelt Chatime isn’t the best in the area by any means(#1), having been plagued by serious lines, subpar customer service, and issues with making drinks(wrong orders, too much sugar, etc.). In the end, I still appreciate the quality of the drinks and their late hours from Main is still what draws me in most of the time. The biggest gripe is always the staff behind the counter. Often times I’ve heard people get nasty over how slow they actually make them. My approach has been pretty simple: if I see lines, I’ll come back later. Unless you’re dedicated to the Chatime brand, there are always other boba options just around the corner. Price wise, we’re talking a difference of nickels and pennies compared to their relative competitors. Going for large and limiting the ice is usually of better value, just make sure to be very clear while paying of how you want your drink to be made. No sugar? Say so. Baby boba instead of regular boba? Get specific. I’m more of a oolong man these days, but I can never resist the temptation of getting taro green tea in any form. __________ (#1) For that, you must see location #2:

A small Bubble Tea Corner in Flushing. They have limited flavours and just two people to hand you out ur drinks. I had a mango bubble tea and felt it was kind of weird with frozen jelly like mango pieces mixed with milk and tapioca. Ugh!

This place sucks. You can’t order less sugar. This happened to me two times in a row. The first time was no big deal. Maybe my fault. The second time, I made sure, 3 times before I paid that I wanted 50% sugar. When I got the drink at the window, I asked again. She said that it was made right, 50% sugar. I was happy. I got on the train before I tried it, which made me upset, because I could’ve stopped at Chase to get the bank loan I’m gonna need to fix my teeth as they instantly rotted from the touch of this sugary mixture. I got extra sugar, which really sucks, because I would’ve at least been able to deal with regular. Don’t go here.

This place is terrible. Service– terrible, drinks– terrible. Luckily, I heard that they are closing in NYC. This is the best news I’ve ever heard. CoCo or Quickly is 1,000,000x better. Don’t waste your money or time.

I used to think this was one of the better bubble tea places to go to back when I frequented it. However, after a visit today with my gf I’m convinced it’s gone completely downhill. Before we were even able to tell them our order the cashier was being unreasonably rude to my gf. They didn’t understand what we were saying even though we spoke as slowly and clearly as possible. After we received our order, it turns out they put us down for three drinks instead of the two we ordered. By the way, all three drinks were made incorrectly. When I told another cashier about the mix up, to my surprise she went off on me and said I was wrong and that there’s nothing they can do about it. Very poor customer service, I don’t know where they hire these workers from. Me, my gf, all of my friends and family will no longer give our business to this establishment.

Tea is ok but the custumer service is really bad. I waited for my two drinks for 20 minutes. And the staffs are not friendly. I won’t go back.

I couldn’t believe how awful the drinks are. It is not true buy one and get one free. We bought 3 small drinks and cost about 11 dollars. We asked for 50%, 80%, and 100% sugar. It turned out 100% sugar one tasted like 0% sugar and the rest tasted too sweet. Will never go back again.

I only come here for the rose bubble tea, that’s all, but the environment look too unsanitated because two years ago, I saw a roach crawling in the floor and head it to the pantry. I didn’t come back because of that situation; however, I did come back and I did see no pest, thank god. But please make this place clean.

Lots of choices for bubble tea flavors. Only downside, it gets very packed(One, it right outside the 7 train stop & two, they share a space with about 3 – 4 other food places)

Yes this place has pretty good bubble tea and I was a regular up until last week. I got my usual taro bubble tea, and within the first sip I had to immediately stop and pull out a long strand of black hair from my throat. It was absolutely disgusting, never again.

I always order the Thai ice tea with the tapioca balls. Delicious! You get a great deal: Order 2 for $ 5! I usually order 2 — 1 for me and the other for my hubby. So we get to enjoy these drinks together. Bad thing about this place is that it doesn’t offer a sit down area so you can relax while sipping the drinks. Located in the heart of Flushing no visit will be complete without going to this place

This place boasts convenience and will gain sales through convenience alone. However, in terms of quality of bubble tea in comparison to it’s other bubble tea making counter parts(Ten Ten, other Chatimes, Coco, Kung Fu, etc) this store in particular pales in comparison. The service is Flushing standard and is expected. Their speed and efficiency in their process is slower than most places and there is a barrier of speech for people who are not fluent in Chinese. The deals that are shown outside of the place are simply a means to entice people to come in and are not made regularly available(though still displayed). What I got in particular was a Taro Bubble Tea, it was a buy 1 get one free deal but prices are only marked up to retain the same marginal return in comparison to other bubble counterparts. In addition to that, the sugar concentration was not completely saturated throughout the drink, the job was a quick but unclean mess and the Taro powder they used did not completely dissolve within the mix. If one has time to get bubble tea I highly recommend a store elsewhere.

This Chatime can have a long wait, ummmm because they are awesome. Nah, mostly because customers are a sucker for their discounts, or at least I am. This location of Chatime is in the same«mall»(hallways of restaurant stalls) as Two Peck. There are discounts offered if you order Two Peck chicken and a tea from Chatime. My favorite drinks from Chatime are the refreshing yogurt fruit teas. Even in the dead of winter, I find myself craving a sour Grapefruit Yogurt tea. Yep, a cup of bubble tea in one hand a massive crispy fried chicken cutlet in the other is a match made in Taiwanese heaven.

This particular Chattime, right off the 7 and on Roosevelt Avenue, did a great job with my mango smoothie with mango bubbles and black tapioca. It’s quick and at 10 at night was packed. (They also sell food in the back. I honestly have no idea what is sold.) But the bubble tea moved quickly. There are so many choices, but the folks at the counter were kind enough to give me some great suggestions. One negative — there is absolutely no parking. Like I went at 10 on a weekday. No parking. You can try in the Municipal Lot on Prince.(However, if you catch the 7, one of the exits is right there.) Plus, there is so much to do in Downtown Flushing with a Macy’s across the street.

I’ve never been disappointed at this bubble tea place. They have a great assortment of flavors/boba and always hit the right balance of sweetness in their drinks. They make the most taro-y taro bubble tea I’ve had in a while, for lack of a better description. Instead of syrups and fake sugar, they seem to use actual taro or taro extract. Same goes for their other drinks(especially their fruit drinks). It’s also great that they usually have a two for one deal on all drinks. This place is high on my list of go-to places for bubble tea in flushing. Food: 4⁄5 — very yummy bubble tea and slushies Service: 3⁄5 — quick and efficient but no frills, as expected of a to-go place Atmosphere: 2⁄5 — it’s a small stall in an otherwise unremarkable foodcourt-esque space Overall: 3⁄5 — good

What to say about Chatime? Laura B. and I wandered around Flushing looking for a way to satisfy our cravings. Nothing was open that late in the night and luckily we were able to wander here to grab some bubble tea(which I was craving). Since so much has been said in other reviews, let’s go with a short list to sum it all up: PROS: –They’re open late. –They have a decent variety. Thai Bubble Tea? Yum. –Cheap prices/deals on milk tea. –The cool machine that puts the think plastic on top was fun to watch. CONS: –They run out of flavors quickly. –They’re not consistent with their prices and what the claim they offer. –The place is kinda dirty, esp toward the back area. It’s more of a to-go kind of place IMO. But nonetheless, my boba needs were filled.

THISPLACEIS A SHAM. This place was quite honestly one of the worst establishments I’ve ever been to in my life. The servers there are extremely rude. And to top it all off they have completely false advertising everywhere outside the store. They advertise all these deals but when you ask the about it they trick you into buying something that is not the deal or they just day that deal doesn’t exist anymore. The why do they have a giant poster advertising it outside? If I wanted to be treated like dirt and forced to eat bad food I would have went to my ex girlfriend’s place. Honestly there are so many other places out there I don’t know why you would ever come here. There’s a great mom and pop place one block over that sells corn and bubble tea and is actually running the bogo promotion fairly. If I can remember the name I’ll update this post.
