Two Peck Crispy Chicken is located in the same«mall» as some other excellent Taiwanese businesses. There is a kabob place, a spicy marinated everything place, a Chatime, and a Taiwanese Bento box place that is downright freaky-good. In the back right corner is Two Peck, frying up some flavorful-crispiliy– tender chicken. This is a stall business, like a small food court area. There is limited communal seating. However, everyone is very friendly and always wants to talk to me about what I ordered and if I think it, «tastes good.» People in Flushing love to talk about food, and that is just another reason why I love this place. Based on the Large Fried Chicken trend that is popular in Taiwan street markets, Two Peck is one of the few(if only) large fried chicken shop I have found in the New York area. There are many different powder toppings that you can add to your chicken, my favorite being the Plum Powder(thanks Linny). The chicken is made to order, so it will take a couple of minutes to fry fresh. Super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! Chatime Bubble Tea in the same hallway has a combo deal with Two Peck, so combine both for a delicious adventure. My favorite pairing is Plum Fried Chicken with Grapefruit Yogurt Tea for a sour kick. That is just an appetizer!

So this place is a stall in this little Asian mini food court next to Chatime. You order in the front of the store and you pickup in the back of the store. There is a small row of two seater chairs. This place is a quick snack place but not a place you really stay and chillax. The food: Salt and pepper crispy chicken thigh– I thought the flavor was pretty good, but it kinda has that unpleasant greasy feeling after a few bites. The chicken is tender and crispy but the chicken felt oily. Crispy Tofu– The tofu was nice and crunchy and the flavor was nice, but it felt too one note for me. It was good, but boring after a few bites.

Super duper excited when I found out flushing had two peck. Ever since we last went to Taiwan, I’ve been on hunt for some amazing popcorn chicken. I ordered the usual salt and pepper popcorn chicken. But, to my finding, it was slightly sweet. Major bummer. Don’t be shocked if it’s sweet. I guess the hunt for popcorn chicken continues

4 words: I LOVETHISPLACE! The crispy chicken thigh is juicy, crispy, and slightly sweet crust. There are different powder flavors like garlic, kimchi, seaweed, plum, salt and pepper, mustard wasabi… I’ve tried the kimchi and spicy but they taste the same. Seaweed was ok. Plum was good but it was sweet. Sweet powder with already sweet crust was just overly sweet and kind of made it not as enjoyable. Garlic and salt and pepper are the best! It just tastes so good! If you like fried chicken you will love this place too. Now you order at chatime and go pick it up at the back. And you may have to wait for a few minutes because they fry it when you order. When you finally get your chicken you have to eat it right away because it is the best when it’s hot. Just go and try it! If you don’t like it then don’t go get it again, but I’m sure you will go back for more. I know that’s what I think about after I finish the chicken. Just try! !

still good the second time around! this time, i ordered the combo for $ 6.99 with two chicken buns, chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink while my boyfriend got the buy one get one chicken breast free special. we had to wait a while, but as my boyfriend says, «the wait is worth it»(and he doesn’t like waiting, especially for food). everything was delicious, and there was SO much food! my boyfriend ordered the regular-sized chicken breast(there was an option for large), but he couldn’t finish both of them because it was such a generous portion. can’t wait to go back, especially now that we’ll be living closer to flushing this year :)

It’s a quasi fast food chain from Taiwan. They sell burgers, chicken cutlet with bubble teas of all kinds. Food wise, yummy chicken cutlets with a few flavors to choose from. I enjoyed mine(garlic). The Iced Chai Tea with pudding was great too. However, this place is located inside a small food court with only three tables. I had to share table, eating lunch right across from a total stranger. So, 1 star for dining area and 5 stars for food. I will go back only for takeout.

Not the most delicious crispy chicken I’ve ever had but still the closest to what I can find in the states. This place is still very helpful when you are feeling home sick and craving for Taiwanese night market food. I had the plum flavor, which was well seasoned and crispy. However it would be better if it was a bit more juicy though.

By far the best chicken sandwich that I ever had inside the U.S. The smell and taste are very close to the version that I had back in Chinese KFC. Chicken nuggets are very seasoning and very crispy. I highly recommend to people if you are looking for something deep fried stuff.

I’ve told my fiancé that if one day the doctor says I can’t eat fried chicken anymore, he should just drive me to the nearest Popeye’s, order me a chicken biscuit, and watch my soul float up to the pearly gates of fried food heaven guarded by Paula Dean. Now with that image in your head, you can you imagine a chicken cutlet stall can really do no wrong. We visited this little food court to get some stinky tofu and baos from Taipei Hong. After we got our food, we noticed Two Peck Chicken’s sign behind our table with enticing descriptions of freshly fried cutlets. Although we just got our Taiwanese snacks and still had dinner plans afterwards, we decided to order something.* After much debate, we settled on the the salt and pepper chicken(which also comes in garlic, curry, kimchi, original, spicy and cheese flavors). After handing over $ 4.50 and waiting 5 minutes, we were rewarded with a crispy, tasty and fragrant piece of meat. As other reviewers have described, in addition to the savoriness, there’s a bit of sweetness, perhaps even a little too much — for those who are not used to(predominantly Shanghainese) Chinese cuisine that adds sugar to all savory dishes, this could be off-putting. Also this place doesn’t give utensils or a plate. Our food came wrapped in a paper sleeve and stuck into a plastic bag. Not a problem since we just recycled our utensils from our previous meal. However, if this is your only stop, this could get kinda messy, not to mention that you could burn your hands holding the hot chicken through the thin paper sleeve. *Yes, i know, we’re fatasses.

Cost: Prices range from $ 2.99 — 4.50 (Chicken taco to $ 4.50 for the House Special — Fried Chicken Cutlet,) Must-Try Item(s): Crispy Boneless Chicken Breast (Salt-n-Pepper Flavor) It seems the NYC location offers much more variation(i.e., Many different flavors like Plum & Curry, not just the Original Salt-n-Pepper) on the traditional Chicken Cutlet than Taipei, and less traditional items(i.e., Fried Pig blood cake, or Sticky Rice Stuffed Intestine). According to a friend, Two Peck is one of the top places for chicken cutlets in Taiwan. She was amazed to see this stall located in the corner of this mini food court. I had to see what hype she was speaking about so I tried a couple of their full size 8oz cutlets. Fried Chicken Cutlet($ 4.50) — There are at least 10 flavors to choose from but the original«salt and pepper» is a must try. They give you a steaming, juicy, crispy cutlet that produces a echoing crunch with each bite. Also flavor sensations go wild as the tongue touches the savory and sweet blend of spices. I must admit that it made me super thirsty with the MSG overload.(8⁄10) I had the famous chicken cutlets from Taipei’s famous night markets and Two Peck’s cutlets come pretty close to it. The hero wasn’t in the flavor but the technique of the frying. They fried it perfectly as each cutlet possess a golden crispy shell which encases the juice dripping chicken meat. Note: If you buy a drink from Cha Time, you get a .50 cent discount for the cutlet.

Pretty decent fried chicken cutlet. It is sweeter than the real ones from Taiwan. But it’s still good. Buy it with chat time tea and get 50 cents off.

Don’t miss Two Peck when you are in Flushing. It is hiding inside a tiny strip mall in the very back. They have deep fried chicken thigh chop or popcorn chicken in various flavors. We got them with an order of bubble tea from Chatime in the front and get discounts! We tried the spicy and cheese flavors and the flavors are amazing, especially the cheese one! The skin is light and crispy and chicken is very tender and juicy. The spices are unique and aromatic! Most importantly, it is an inexpensive snack. I want to try other flavors here!

This place is like a hole in the wall. Literally. If you buy a bubble tea from Cha Time, you get a discount when your buy your fried chicken! I’ve always gotten the plum flavored cutlet or nuggets. I’m a big fan of sweet so I really enjoyed it. I like that they use dark meat because it makes it nice and JUICYYY!!! I really need to find out how they make their batter because it’s nice and crispy! YUM! Definitely have to try their other flavors soon: P Whenever I’m in Flushing, I always have to stop by. It just tastes so good! It reminds me a lot about Taiwan which is why I’m so obsessed. For it’s price of $ 3.50, it makes my tummy happy. Great to-go snack! However, the wait can be pretty long which kind of sucks but in my opinion, it’s so worth it! :D

So let’s be honest. Walk in and look around. You might be hopeful on finding something awesome in a little hole in the wall place in the middle of flushing. That’s what I was hoping for when I walked in. You have to first walk past chatime, a discount bubble tea place to the back where it is lit by fluorescent lights(giving it that tv morgue sterility look only achieved by said lighting). Go to the back and you can order from a funky little counter with a tv screen showing their menu. Just a chicken cutlet breaded and fried with some sauce. The good: they fry it up fresh to order The bad: everything else! They hand it to you in a paper sleeve, piping hotj its too hot to touch. When it cools down and you start eating out you get a strange sweetness and then a strange msg saltiness. It was a lot of msg. I got the dry mouth quickly afterwards. So why the low rating? My piece was under cooked, but by the time I got to the undercooked section I was about 2 blocks away and just gave up and tossed the rest. Not good…

Travel to Taiwan and learn about the essence of street foods! Or take the 7 and get off an Main St for a slight glimpse of this amazing experience at TwoPeck! The long wait is over and this little chicken place is making a lot of noise with its soft opening this summer in Flushing. Unilocal Elites pray for a place like this to open to fill their hearts and stomach with new inspiration and a snack that is totally unique. Best flavor to try are salt and pepper, extra spicy and curry. The crispy outside is incomparable to anything you have had! It is crunchy, crispy, flavorful and fried to perfection. This inside is juicy, boneless and tender chicken thigh or chicken breast. The crispy tofu bites is a great alternative snack for vegetarians and is a MUST! The bite size nuggets are perfect for sharing but the filet is what makes Two Peck famous and for good reason too. Get a matcha green tea from Chatime to get a combo discount and to neutralize the spiciness of the chicken!

Too Pecking Much MSG Crispy Chicken $ 3.50 for a thin piece of fried chicken made fresh to order. Seems like a good deal at first but I felt like I got scammed. I came in here expecting a lot after reading some of the acclaimed reviews of my fellow Unilocal-ers. Who doesn’t like fried chicken cutlets? Usually when I think of a chicken cutlet, you think a skinless piece of white chicken breast. This wild Taiwanese creation uses a piece of thigh meat with the skin on. The savory sliminess of the deep fried dark meat was grossly overwhelming. The sweet sugary breading was thick and so crispy and crunchy in a good way. However, the chicken was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over-seasoned with salt and MSG. I was squinting like Snoop-Lion after enjoying some good Cali-bud minus the smile. During all of my many years of experience eating MSG laden foods such as Chinese takeout, I never had a bad physical reaction. This chicken was so salty that it actually gave me a headache, and was mildly nauseating. I understand why you might need a sugary drink like a Bubble-Tea to tame these salt-ridden snacks. I thought the different flavor choices were more complex in execution. I imagined that the breading was prepared using different techniques according to the advertised flavor. I chose cheese, spicy, and curry. Maybe, I’m the ridiculous one, to think they would somehow put cheese into the middle of the meat like a juicy-lucy. They concocted this synthetic Nacho cheese flavor which was hard to taste because of the overwhelming saltiness. I’d describe it as a Dorito meets ramen-noodle soup base powder. Really c’mon guys you call that cheese? The next one I tried was the spicy one, which I kind of enjoyed half way through until the saltiness took over everything. This flavor was more like a Shin-Ramen Noodle powder with extra MSG and salt and perhaps some sugar. The curry tasted like curry but again the saltiness, overpowered the curry. The people behind Two Peck Chicken may even be more evil than McDonald’s. Food like this explains why there may be any obese children in Taiwan. I could easily imagine a little fat Taiwanese boy eating a bunch of these two-peck chickens while playing PC games all day long. I mean… seriously, ease up on the salt and save our arteries and our children. Three tiny little dark-meat cutlets for $ 3.50 ran me about 11 bucks. If you love sweet salty and savory food this may be for you but not for me. I came for fried chicken and got handed a big bag of MSG and Salt. I got so upset after getting swindled, I walked over to Popeye’s to satisfy my fried chicken crave.

Located in the back of Cha time bubble tea, it’s a small«stall» located amongst two other eateries. The«food court» is very hot — my friend and I could not stay after ordering our chicken & bubble tea because there is no air conditioning — but the chicken was worth it Freshly made upon ordering, the chicken bits are crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside. I tried the curry while my friend got the salt&pepper(I plan on trying the plum next time I go here). The salt&pepper was nothing special, but the curry was pretty darn good. They give you a lot of popcorn chicken(they cut them in half) for the cheap price(I believe it was around $ 3 dollars). My friend and I were pretty full after devouring one each. Will definitely be returning — but not when its excruciatingly hot outside.

Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, plus flavor & fragrant; this summer just got hotter! Derrick L, George C, and I grabbed our friends to give this place a try, hearing it’s famous chicken hailing from my homeland Taiwan. In 1 shot we ordered: spicy flavor, curry, seaweed, garlic, plum, and salt&pepper. And sweet potato fries to share and there’s 50¢ discount for ChaTime drinks a few stall down. We loved: spicy, garlic, and curry We were puzzled by: plum, sweet potato fries. Basically, the swt potato fries were more plummy than the plum flavored chicken, but the cashier later explained it’s supposed to be that way. Also* cashier is actually bilingual, as in fluent in Mandarin AND English. I love! One of the cook dudes also came by and asked how’d we like everything, which he was answered with full mouths and the best smiles we could squeeze. Notes: order takes 8 – 10 minutes to prepare cuz it’s fried on the spot. Also, there are 2 types of spicy flavors, neither actually SPICY, but if you inhale while eating — you WILL cough.

Finally got a chance to try the new and much anticipated opening of Two Peck fried chicken in Flushing. I have heard many good things about the them in Taiwan, and finally we have it in NYC. The chicken came in many flavors ranging from the popular Plum to Spicy Hot. I personally opted for the curry flavor, and the lady friend had the plum. The chicken were made on the spot and we were told ahead time that it will be a 10 minutes way. Boy, was the 10 minutes worth it. The first bit into my curry flavored chicken, the steam and aroma filled my mouth and the air(beware that the chicken is hot). My chicken seems to get juicier as I take each bite, and very satisfying. I’m looking forward to bringing my family from Philly to try it this weekend, I’m thinking the seaweed flavor the next time. Tips: If you buy the chicken and the Chatime bubble tea, you get 50 cents off, I think they are the same owner.
