Looking at the ratings, I didn’t even want to come, but a family friend suggested this place. I definitely will not be back again. Here are a few reasons why… 1. Instead of soaking the gel nails I had on in acetone cotton balls and wrapping them in foil, they just had me dip my entire hand in a bowl of acetone, which of course spilled. 2. This didn’t effectively take off the gel, and there were spots they missed, which you can still see through the new polish. 3. They missed one entire side of my finger(they didn’t notice after 2 coats of color and top coat). They fixed it when I pointed it out. 4. They never used a base coat. 5. They never put lotion on my hand, before or after the manicure. 6. They kept telling me to get gel, and that a regular manicure wouldn’t last more than a few days. I hate when companies do this. Stop telling me how crappy your service is in trying to get me to upgrade. Will not be back. Sorry.

Tried this place in a pinch on a Saturday morning. Shellac manicure didn’t last more than a couple days and the tools did not appear hygienic, although the lady swore they were sterilized. She pulled them out of her little plastic container at her station and wiped them with alcohol to make me feel better. Won’t go back.

This was a spur of the moment decision to get nails done. VN was recommended by a high school student. I went with my daughter and niece. We walked in and were seen right away on a Tuesday around 1pm. Two people were getting pedi’s. There was definitely a language barrier. We just wanted gel polish but they assumed a manicure too. I asked price and was told $ 20, $ 25 for French. But apparently that’s if you get a manicure. I just got a French gel polish. The girl used acrylic to lengthen two nails slightly. Charged me $ 15. My niece got French gel polish, no acrylic repair, $ 15. My daughter got regular gel polish, $ 20. I have no idea how they figure out what they’re charging. Why is a regular color gel more than French? Why was I not charged for the acrylic lengthening? The bottle of base coat or acrylic coat or whatever it was had a brush that was splayed out like it’d been used a zillion times and out of shape. Products just seemed sketch. My girl and the girl who first took us bickered in their language about us not wanting mani’s I guess. The intake girl kept saying we wanted then and my girl kept saying NO we didn’t. And she’d ask me again to clarify. The service was fine just the language issue was awkward. For $ 15 I’d go back again if that was really the correct charge. I don’t think I’d get any other service type done though except gel polish.

This place was awful!!! I got a pedicure and a manicure. The polis on my toes looks like a kid did them. She put one coat of polish on and that’s it. Not even a top coat. I had polish all over my toes. I got get polish oh my nails and the polish does not even cover my entire nail. I will not go back.

I wanted almond shaped nails, it’s the only reason I got acrylics. I asked prior to her cutting my nails for the shape I wanted. She made them square. I asked again, had to show a picture, and she said my nails were too short… That’s exactly why I got fake ones. My cuticles weren’t touched a single time and they dry manicures and pedicures with little fans on the floor. I wanted a light pink color… There were none. I had to get a purple. She started my nails, told me to wait, then did three people’s nails and eyebrows before coming back to me. Wow.

Went here for the first time and was very disappointed. I went for a pedicure and it wae the worst of ever received. When she finshed tgere was a part of my foot that was uneven looking as if it was cut into. They told me there was nothing they could do even though she cut to much. I will not be back!

I am having the strangest pedi I ever had. First she tortured me, then she used paper towels to separate my toes, then after painting them she put on the rubber sandals, then they sat me in front of a little fan on the floor to dry. I think they are ! VN Nails on Todd’s Lane. Never again!
