I have been eating the shrimp and chicken bowls and different types of bowls for a while. I tried the shrimp fried rice and it was AMAZING! Love the food

What do you expect for $ 4? If you don’t care about fresh ingredients and nutrition for your body, be my guest. I would rather go to Chinese Friends down the street.

I live super close so I’ve eaten here a number of times. Go here if you want cheap unhealthy good Chinese food. I’d say this place is the best«Chinese» food in the area. I always get the Orange chicken and the egg fu young! With lots of hot sauce of course. I think once I remember getting some food right before it closed and it seemed old. So I prob wouldn’t go during closing hours.

Took a chance on this place today, and it was alright! that’s all I can really say, nothing special or unique about it.

The people are very nice and the restaurant is clean. The«to go» food is okay and definitely cheaper than Panda Express, but could use a little more TLC for authentic Asian flavor. They have Thai ice tea which is pretty good too.

I came to this place with low expectations; I simply wanted some fast, cheap, but edible Chinese food and yet I was still disappointed. The chow mien noodles were overcooked, the sweat and sour sauce had no flavor, overall I thought the food lacked flavor. Not worth the calories.

So when I am on the run and just don’t have time to cook, I come here. I guess I could go through the drive thru from a hamburger place… but…to change that up, I enjoy the orange chicken and beef with broccoli. They really pile on the food for very cheap…2 combo special is 5.95(I wanna say). They flavor is there and always friendly people who are quick to help.

There was a huge dead bug in my orange chicken. Then when I showed the rude lady she gave me a difficult time and did not want to give me my money back. Tried paying me in nothing but change, when I gave her bills when I paid. I was sick for 2 days. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Don’t ever waste your time or money here. Cash only place — put me out, I mean it’s 2014, upgrade your machines. The food was cold & didn’t even look good to eat so I just tossed it. Seriously. Worst. Place. Ever.

Ive been to this establishment before. It wasn’t bad, but it wasnt good either. Came here for lunch and I must say I am disappointed. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. Lets start with the chow mein. It was bland as heck. Vegetables were soggy, really soggy. Noodles were a nightmare. I couldn’t tell if it was actual chow mein or vermicelli noodles colored orange. It was a fail. The orange chicken. Umm, isnt it suppose to look orange or taste sweet? Not this one. It looked like fried chicken pieces dusted in salt. I couldnt taste the«orange» flavor anywhere. My first bite was like eating a pinch of salt. Totally disgusting. Teriyaki chicken? More like crapiyaki chicken. More salt than anything. I know the food sits out for awhile under a hot lamp, but this was just ridiculous. My chicken was cold. The teriyaki sauce was hot, but just tasted like hot soy sauce. More saltiness. The staff looks unhappy working there. The woman who took my order looked annoyed when I was telling her what I wanted. She rolled her eyes not once, but twice. Really? This is the customer service you provide? wow. This place has really gone downhill through the years. If you want chinese food, try Chinese Friends down the street. Even Panda express is better than this hole in the wall. Thanks for reading!

Been coming here since I was a kid. The owners recognized our family as regulars. However since the past couple of years their food has declined. Not what I remembered it to be. I know orange chicken should taste very close to orange but when they started putting orange in the mix it was a complete turn off to the food. Won ton soup isn’t what it used to be either, as well as the chow mein. It comes out burnt now. Prices went up and food quality declined. To top it off customer service isn’t the same either. They are in a rush to get you out. If you are trying to make a decision on what you want they roll their eyes at you. And this is someone who has been a loyal customer throughout the years. I am no longer a patron of this place. Theres actually a better spot on Hawthorne and marine where the El Super grocery store is. I think it’s called little bejing… Hella bomb Chinese food!

LOVE the orange chicken, BBQ chicken, BBQ pork, broccoli beef, fried rice & chow mein! Shrimp fried rice is good too! Love this place… you get big scoops of food too! my order never changes! Always tastes good! I’m a happy customer! Took one star off cause the special is cash only! I always have to go by the bank before I come here… That never stops me from coming though lol

Wack Wack Express or Wacala Wacala Express. Yeah, it sucks! I ordered the small won ton soup and my daughter got noodles and chicken, in a bowl. $ 7+ My won ton soup was so gross! It tasted like dirty hot water. As if they added the water after they cooked the soup. The soup tasted fishy; only it didn’t have any seafood. It was the worst I’ve ever had. I added lots of hot sauce and soy sauce to give it some flavor. It didn’t help. I tried the noodles; they tasted old, hard, greasy and flavorless. Then I went for the fortune cookie… say what? Stupid fortune, «A bee with honey in it’s mouth has a stinger full of poison» o_O The cookie tastes like Playdoh… seriously! Is it even edible? Never again. It made my GAG list.

Fast and cheap. I used to come here a lot before another better Chinese place opened up nearby. Orange chicken is good and worth it. Fried and steamed rice is good, as is the chow mein. Barbeque chicken is tasty. Everything else is pretty mediocre to be honest. I’ve tried the other selections(kung pao, chicken with potatoes, beef and broccoli) and they are either way too spicy or just taste bad. It is a typical fast food Chinese place. All the food is already made. You probably won’t hate it, but you certainly won’t love it and it isn’t going to make you want to come back. Unless you live around the corner like I do or just want some orange chicken. Prices are good I will give it that, and you get a lot. Almost gave it three stars but I’ve been there enough to know that there is way better out there.

I have been going here since I was really young, so pretty much 20yrs. I have tried other fast food Chinese places and nicer restaurants, this is def my favorite as far as food goes. CHEAP&DELICIOUS! Need I say more? I get the same thing pretty much all the time: sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, chow mein(SO good), and fried rice. Wontons are good too.

Decent Chinese and cheap. Don’t go on the hottest day of the year as their A/C might have trouble keeping up. Black pepper chicken and kung pao are the way to go. Wish they had free refills… didn’t know anyone still charged for refills.
