I would give a half star if I had the option. This are new owners and they have the customer service skills of a rock. I ordered a chair and they initially told me 7⁄10 business days. Well after I reminded them of that 10 days later they could not give me a date. I waited over a month for one chair. After I got the that chair I wanted to purchase another chair & the sales lady was going to charge me more for the second chair. So much for trying to keep reoccurring business. I’ll find me another Ashley direct dealer.

This place is the absolute WORST. Save your time and your money and go elsewhere. I signed up for Unilocal just to write this review to warn others, and I am not the type of person to bash on a business if they make an honest mistake. I won’t go into my entire story, but let me summarize: 1. I walked in and knew exactly what I wanted because I had seen it in another store. Since these guys were close to my home I figured I would purchase the dresser for my daughter’s room here. The price was comparable/OK, so I paid the full amount and was told that I could pick it up in about a week. 2. A few days before the delivery was supposed to arrive, I got a call and they said that the dresser would be here and they gave me a date — I was impressed. 3. The day before the delivery, they called and said that Ashley Furniture was«having trouble with their delivery truck» and that it would be delayed about a week. Not quite believable, but OK I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. 4. The week goes by and I don’t get a call. I called them and asked if my dresser was there. The girl(Brittany) checks and says«yes, it is there». 5. A few days later I drive to the store to pick up the dresser. Every employee there looked confused, including the guy(Chris) who sold it to me. They spent about 30 minutes looking for it, and eventually admitted it was not there. Chris, who is either the manager or the owner I believe, promised to call me back to let me know what was going on. Needless to say, he never did. 6. I called back in a few days — Chris was with a customer. Brittany said he would call me back. He never did. 7. A few days later — SAMEASABOVE 8. I called again and spoke with Brittany. She said she spoke with Chris, and that he was going to pick up the dresser from another location and deliver it to me the very next day. I was skeptical, but OK. 9. The next day comes and goes, no dresser, no phone call. 10. I called back and asked why wasn’t the dresser delivered. Brittany tells me she spoke with Chris, and Chris told her that he spoke with me and that I was OK waiting for the Ashley truck a few more days. Smoke begins to come out of my ears. A blatant LIE. I am furious and demand a call back from Chris. 11. Chris calls me the next day as if nothing happened and says he has the dresser and it will be at my house within 15 minutes. I make arrangements to have someone at the house. 3 hours go by — no dresser. 12. Dresser finally arrives about 5 hours later. Take it from me, the most patient person on earth — do NOT even step foot in that door. These guys are shady and will promise you the world, but this was literally the worst shopping experience I have ever had!!!

If I didn’t have to give one star I positively wouldn’t. I bought my daughters a NICE«looking» bunk bed from here and it wasn’t cheap. They slept on the bed for around a month and it immediately loosened. Visible bolts coming out. If I hadn’t had 2 more bad experiences with them I would have threw it all back. It was a small crack on the side up against their wall. Chipped wood as well. When I pointed the chips out to the guy who delivered it, he advised me to use a furniture pen. Mind you there were more than one. I DONOT allow my children to jump in the bed and/or play on it so the quality is pathetic for all of their prices. In general. The boards that holds the mattresses immediately started separating. In addition, they delivered a chess to go with the bed and it was defected. They had to replace it TWICE. The third time after having problems with this same chess, I went ahead and bought one that was a bit more expensive and was supposed to be sturdier. Needless to say, it was put in the trash. Quality was poor and it didn’t hold up long ATALL. I also bought the mattresses from here. Because they didn’t have the one I wanted they gave me a free pillow. Nice. This place has poor quality furniture, once I even came in and no one greeted me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I set out to furnish my girls entire room and it was a total disaster. It was totally disappointing b/c now they need a new bed. There is no way that these beds are going to be useful if and when we decide to separate them. And I had to throw almost $ 400 dollars away for the chess. Mind you, the first one had a problem with faulty drawers(the top and the second from the bottom) and had some weird issues with the paint finish. HORRIBLE establishment! To sum it up, the furniture is very poor quality, the delivery people are obviously just doing a job and don’t care about the fact that you just spent major money, and the overall experience was horrible after I’d spent my money. Always, listen to your husband. He asked me what I knew about the place when I first drug him in. I should have stuck with The Room store. The furniture(including my sons bed is still holding up years later). Always follow your first mind.

BUYERBEWARE!!! My boyfriend and I recently moved to Houston and came across this furniture store in Katy. We liked one of the sectionals they had on display, and it was the exact piece that we saw in Ashley Furniture, except the price tag was $ 400 more than Ashley’s. The sales associate told us the price is negotiable so we decided to get it along with a dining table set. We were told that if we get more items, they would offer us more discounts. We order the sectional and dining room set on July 13th. We saved about $ 200. The sales associate, I believe his name is Rodney, told us that it will take 7 to 10 days to get our furniture. On July 22nd, we received a call from the store informing us that the furniture would be delivered on the 24th. On the 23rd, we got another call saying a part of the sectional is defective so they had to reorder. On the 25th, we got a call telling us that the furniture will be delivered on the 26th from 3 to 6 pm. We waited till 6 pm on the 26th and the furniture did not come, and we did not get a single call from them. I called the store, and the manager informed us that there had been some confusion, and the part of the sectional is still en-route. He told me everything will be delivered on the 30th. This morning, the 30th, my boyfriend received a call from the store asking how the delivery went. REALLY!!! THEREWASNODELIVERY! We got extremely upset and the associate told us she would call us back. SHENEVERCALLED! Around 2 pm, I called and the manager told me it will be delivered from 4 – 8 pm today. He said he had personally informed the delivery people about this. It’s 9:30 pm and there hasn’t been any delivery. This whole process has been extremely annoying and a waste of our time, and the worst part is that they charged our credit card 3 weeks ago! THISPLACEISTHEWORSTFURNITURESTORE I HAVEEVERENCOUNTERED. I had the worst experience with this store. Ordered a sofa and love seat which I believed thru their catalogue included a built in bed. Was told it would be 2 – 3 weeks but after many phone calls and many different answers they finally arrived 3 weeks later for a total of 6 weeks. I decided to not even bother following up with them about the fact that the couch didn’t include a pull out bed since they kept ignoring my calls. At this point my long awaited love seat has started to rip apart and the material is falling apart. After going on their website and reading their terms as well as my previous experience with them I don’t even want to waste my breath. Make sure what you buy here, once you buy there’s no going back.

At first I was excited that I had finally found a King Size headboard that was not cost prohibited for me on social security to buy. I asked the salesman all the questions I could think of– I only wanted the head board not the side rails or foot board so I asked will this headboard attach to the bed rails, does it come with the hardware to do that? I was assured yes it would– I promptly paid CASH for the headboard and was given a 2 week delivery date– I am handicapped & only have a passenger car so I inquired about delivery, it was to expensive $ 50.00 for less than a mile away, the salesman tried to get me a more affordable dlv price– the owners girlfriend(I think that’s who she is) Said oh no its not a million dollars– so unless you(the salesman) want to pay insurance– gas and dlv it yourself No its going to cost her(hello–«her» is the customer standing right next to you) $ 50.00 whewww so I would make arrangement to pick it up, It was not at the store in two weeks, two and one half weeks later it was, and I sent my son with his friends big truck to pick up the head board for me, expecting a huge king sized headboard — when it arrived at home it was not what I purchased– the salesman ordered the outside frame of a head board — not the entire headboard and this was a frame with leg’s crown to screw on the top needed to be put together– it had nothing in the center! Who buys a headboard with out the center portion in it? I traveled over to the Katy Fwy store a salesman assured me that this was a awful mistake and that he would definitely make it right, called a warehouse they had the other part of it etc and he would get me the entire headboard by Tues of the next week, but it cost extra this was not my fault and didn’t want to buy or spend any more on this item– he promised he would not charge me and he would make sure it was deliver to my house as well personally, this should have never happened, and the sales clerks need more training. They had to make it right for me. I was sent away appeased .The next week the salesman changed his tune pretended he forgot — and told me writes notes on my billing statement and no mistake was noted on the statement– OK I asked to see the note’s he couldn’t do that… then he told me he didn’t own the store and couldn’t do anything for me and kept telling me Its not a Million dollars you know its not a Million dollars– that’s the same thing the owners girlfriend said on the day I paid for this to the salesman who originally tried to give me a break delivering the item ”‘its not a Million Dollars”’ no way its gonna cost her $ 50.00 unless you want to pay for insurance gas and deliver it yourself.(nice thing to say in front of a customer) OK so if you’re not spending a million dollars at this establishment– they don’t care about your business. Eventually after getting jerked around for two more weeks I was so fed up & wanted to return this ridiculous messed up order I had only received legs, and crown and that’s not what I bought I bought KING size Headboard that had quilted fax leather in the center… I had not asked to purchase parts to assemble any thing I am handicapped I don’t build furniture! I returned the item and they charged me a $ 20.00 restocking fee– yep I got penalized for their salesmen screwing up my purchase– and four weeks of aggravation –but they gave me a break it usually costs a lot more and oh you may have guessed I got charged because well its not a million dollars and, and the sales men didn’t own the store. Well I may not have a million dollars– but I do shop and use CASH not credit know quite a number people in KATY Cinco Ranch and Cypress that do too, believe me I will not refer any one to this business and I will advise everyone if they are not spending a million dollars– don’t expect to be treated well or fairly. Unless you’re desperate for no credit check financing Do not Shop at the REGTAG folks, they don’t deserve our business and we don’t need this kind of business unethical establishment in the Katy Cinco Ranch area.
