MCI Club

The food options at KCI are very, very limited. I tried the MCI club. It is inside the security area for the American Airlines gates. The places has more comfortable seats and is more spacious than sitting in the crowded gate area. I had to wait several minutes to get a menu. Then after making a difficult decision of trying to figure out what sounded good — I had to wait several more minutes to have my order taken. They were out of two of the ingredients in the drink I wanted so that didn’t help! After waiting long enough that I began to be worried I might no make my flight if they take much longer, my food finally came. It was the pulled pork sandwich. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. The bottom bun was a bit soggy — personal annoyance. I think the person waiting on me was doing her best, but she just had too many things to do. Management should fix that. I won’t eat there again.
