Had the grilled chicken sandwich (comes with fries) and a glass of wine. The glass of wine was $ 9 for 6oz. That’s kinda high but I know airport prices are higher. The grilled Chicken on the sandwich Definitely tasted like rubber but the bacon, BBQ sauce, onion, tomato made it better. Fries were perfect.
I came here because it was the ONLY place to come. Bartender was at least 50 but sweet and kind. Restaurant and airport felt a little dirty. Food did come out very timely though.

Enjoyable Saturday morning breakfast outside the dreadfully tiny American terminal Gates 82 – 85. I had the western omelette — the potatoes and omelette were prepared just right and the waitstaff was helpful to traveling passenger; lots of smiles all around. Angela was my server. Great job. Corporate needs to know about you and the cook.

Clean your fryers. You’re making the entire terminal smell disgusting. I hate waiting for my flight in terminal C because my clothes smell like your dirty kitchen when I leave.

The service here is absolutely terrible. I sat at a table for 30 minutes after asking if there was a server after about 10 minutes of not being served.

At KCI for an early flight. Message to KC Chamber: KCI needs much overdue update! I feel sorry for the staff here. One waitress that is also the bartender. The fryer in the kitchen smells from 200 feet away in the terminal that it needed to be changed a month ago. When it is your turn the waitress is as polite as possible. My recommendation is to come positive and be patient!

Ok bar food. Nothing special. Bland chicken sandwich and lukewarm fries (which actually tasted fine). Service was ok, one waitress was friendly and on the ball, the other one fairly surly.

As an airline pilot, this has got to be the biggest ripoff I’ve encountered at an airport.

I made the mistake of not picking up anything to eat before heading to the airport. I also didn’t realize how small the KC airport really is… this was the only option for a «restaurant». I order a hamburger thinking you can’t go wrong with that but it was two thumbs down. Nothing was really cooked. The hamburger patty was still cold in the middle and pink. It honestly was something you might get at a cafeteria. I took maybe two bites and paid $ 20 for it. I didn’t realize there was a Starbucks and ran down to get a pre-​wrapped sandwich there for $ 10. I would totally recommend that over trying your luck at this place.

Horrible service! They don’t acknowledge that you are there and have an attitude while taking your order. Worst service ever!!! The menu doesn’t offer a great selection.
Eat before you get to terminal C! Unfortunately, this is the only place to sit down and eat in that terminal. We ended up taking the bus and going to terminal B to eat.

Your average airport bar. They have some snacks and bar food, I am having the fried ravioli and a shot of tequila, which is a nice pour and the food is decent for what it is. Nice people and attentive and small town behavior.

The food here if barely edible. Luckily they have beer to help you choke it down. There is so much great food in KC it’s a shame that there isn’t better options in the airport.

The worst! The beer was okay. I ordered the nachos and they were barely edible and then became totally inedible when I ran into the multiple layers of straight tomato sauce. No salsa whatsoever. The bartender showed his incompetence by serving this nasty concoction.

Nice little place, and they have a lot of good food on offer at very good prices. The servers are always engaging and friendly, and the place isn’t usually too busy but it does get hectic at times.

Think place is absolutely terrible… I didn’t expect a lot due to it being at the airport but even with my low expectations, this place disappointed.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The lettuce on the burger was brown and very wilted, the mushrooms were extremely overcooked and the burger itself was cold. The fries were very cold and the waitress went to get ketchup for me 20 minutes ago. I ended up getting up to go get my own.
Don’t go here unless you just want a beer.

Well, OK, it’s an airport bar… but it does have that finest of Saint Louis dishes (which imported to Kansas City is saying a lot) — fried ravioli (it’s more than an acquired taste — it’s a midwestern delicacy!)!! And not half bad beers — but best of all — in a rather charming «au natural» vibe that reminds one, in a not unpleasant way that you’re not in «Miami» anymore — guy and girl servers in all shapes and sizes — and also so «not Miami» — surprisingly friendly. Hey, if you’re stuck at MCI airport — this is the A-​OK place for a brewski!

We didn’t eat, just had a few beers before coming back east. They had a few good beers on tap, it wasn’t that expensive and the service was good.

Pretty good for a Airport pub. The selection of beers was ok, again remember this is in a relatively small airport. So the expectations aren’t so high! I had a bbq chicken sandwich that was pretty good. This place is certainly better than the Budweiser restaurant that is down a few gates.

It’s pretty gross. Counters have been wiped but apparently not cleaned in a long time. Kitchen stink emanates throughout the lounge. Enjoyed watching the bartender eat his lunch at the bar between serving customers. Lots of flies — fruit and standard type (so high marks for variety?).
