This place is wonderful! Went in with severe abdominal pain. They helped me, did some tests, and found the issue. There was no wait. The staff was friendly. The facility was clean(and freezing cold). They did explain a head of time that the doctor and facility fees would be billed separate. I paid a $ 150 co-pay.

Drs and staff are great, short wait times but I agree with the original poster; the pay structure is a bit shady if you have insurance. I called before hand and they said they take my insurance and I expected to pay your normal ER deductible and be done with it this was not the case. As the first poster said you will be billed for a Dr fee as well as the facility and at least in my case they are«out of network» so, my out of pocket was $ 1800. You’d be better off financially going to the ER or urgent care if possible.

Dr Hand and his staff were kind, courteous, and down right awesome. I walked in on a Monday morning at 8:30… was taken back right away… assessed… and tended to. The nurses were great in putting in the IVs and answering my questions. Dr Hand suspected that I had diverticulitis and after the CAT scan he was correct. Dr Hand even took the time and showed me the scan and thoroughly explains to me how he came to his conclusion. I am very pleased with my experience and if I need an ER place to go… this is the place I will return to.

Dr. Hand and Dr. Saurus(not sure how to spell that) along with the staff were very kind, informative, and helpful in facilitating the process of my situation. They did a nice work up on me, CT scan, and had all the results in a timely manner. I was then very seamlessly transferred to Memorial Hermann for surgery to another great doctor that Dr. Hand recommended. I highly recommend Sphier ER as a starting point to most emergencies as I was able to bipass the 3 hour wait in the regular hospital ER. Thank you guys for everything!

RIPOFF. Fine if you have LOTS of money. The total visit will cost I paid $ 250 because my insurance card said I had to pay $ 250 for ER. I had a small cut, but I decided I didn’t want to bleed for 2 hours, which was the wait at the urgent care center. My insurance company paid $ 475. So they received $ 825. I am NOW getting bills for $ 800 for the facility and an additional $ 700 for the doctor. The total cost was $ 2200 for 2 stitches. They were nice. Only go if you’re dying, which means you should go to the hospital.
