After a particularly long day at work, I left craving a cheeseburger so I went here. I didn’t think a cheeseburger would be a complicated order to mess up, but it was here. And with flair too. I requested a simple cheeseburger with only cheese on it. What did they give me? A burger with lettuce, tomato, extra mayo, pickles, onions, and well, cheese. I wish I could blame it on an order mess up but I was literally the only one sitting at the counter. When they gave me the fries, they were lukewarm and stale. Really?! The waitress watched me pick off everything from my burger before I got irritated and nicely asked for them to remake it and for a fresh batch of fries. They gave me a decent burger after that but literally gave me my old fries. My old, stale, cold, fries… K. On top of that, she was on her phone, a foot away from me and I could see word for word whatever more important was happening on Facebook. I was here a total of 15 minutes and will never return.

Waited 20 minutes. No one even came to our table. In the mean time another table came in behind us and gots drinks and ordered while we still hadn’t seen a server. So we left. I think they finally noticed when we walked out.

Stupid us for trying this place again. Been here for 20 minutes now and no one has taken our order. You’d think we had the frigging plague or something. You couldn’t get me back here with a 120% off coupon!

Food was good, but gotta pay extra for fries. Service was pretty bad. Sever didn’t say a word to us, just gave our menus and left. Only time server talked with us was when our order was taken and once more after that.
I stopped by this jonny rocket today. I got a double bacon cheese burger $ 9. But they don’t include fries that’s an extra $ 2 and a soda was $ 2. So after tip it was $ 16. The service was good. The server was nice. The food was bland and dry. Fries dident have any salt or seasoning. The booth was way to close to the table. It was uncomfortable. Overall I will not be going back. Red robbin or Applebee’s have better cheese burgers and way better fries for less money.

The food is decent, but not enough to hide the fact that the customer service is horrible. The servers were impatient while I was ordering. The restaurant doesn’t have the heat on so its freezing. Most of the tables were sticky, and the floor seems like it hasn’t been mopped in a while.

I stopped in here for a quick lunch a few weeks back. It was reasonably clean and the staff was cordial. I wasn’t feeling like a burger so I decided to order the chicken strips and a float. The strips were ok(5pcs), but nothing special… Float as well. For the quality of the food, I’ve had better from major fast food chain drive-throughs and paid quite a bit less. The price was definitely high for what food I received. I will probably give them a second chance and stop by some other day to see if I can find something better on their menu. Stay tuned. :)

Stopped in for a hot dog and fries. The waitress was very attentive. The food was not so good. The hot dog was old and the bun was something I had never heard of. It was a Boston type bun which is a thick slice of bread folded over and toasted on the grill. It not only tasted terrible but it was Soggy as well. Since the down turn of the economy Johnny rockets food quality has really gone down. I do not think that I will return.

This place has SUCH potential — it’s in a super high-traffic area, and the ‘theme’ works really well with the area and customers that are in the area. However, the service is SUPER slow, not overly nice and the place is filthy and in disrepair. The vinyl on the benches was torn, there was dust and grime all over the little table-side juke boxes and straw holders and, they NEVER seem that busy — so, you’d think they’d have time to clean. Guess not. When our food arrived, it came with small paper bowls that had smiley faces drawn in ketchup in them… weird. How about stop faking nice, and actually BE friendly? Who knows… anyway, the food was hot, cooked well, and we actually had no complaints. Nothing totally wow-worthy, and we probably wont be back due to the total lack of disregard for atmosphere, cleanliness and customer service.

I wasn’t even greeted when I walked in. The staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful. The vanilla malt shake is good.

Don’t eat here. Sat at the bar, watched them pull old onion rings and bacon from a bucket sitting next to the grill for our burgers They twice fry their french fries when they get cold Waiters were bickering and making snotty faces, and blatantly ignored us while flirting. $ 6 small milkshakes. Totally not worth it!

Your typical burger joint. My boyfriend and I visited here during the Kent Cornucopia 2014. We ordered a starter of Chili Cheese Fries and an Oreo-Cookies & Cream milkshake. Overall, the experience was great. Our server was very friendly and always checked upon us. Keep in mind, it can be pricey if you are planning to order a meal. Our total bill came out to $ 11.00 for two items. I have no complaints for this Johnny Rockets and I would definitely recommend to a friend/family member!

Seeing some of the reviews here, it seem as though I caught them on good day. I was driving by DT Kent this afternoon and hadn’t had lunch yet, so might as well use that Amazon Local, BOGO meal deal. So you have to order two burger/sandwich plates plus two drinks, and they’ll take off the lower priced ones. The place was empty sans two teenage girls finishing their meal. I tild the waitress about the coupon thing, and she didn’t give any attitude just smile and explained to me how it works. I asked her for advice on what on the menu she would recommend or like. Again, pleasant and patient. Ordered the Smoke House Double and her recommendation of Philly Cheesesteak sandwich(mistake there). Burger good, or better than I expected. Sandwich was not good, tasted like something from the microwave aisle of 7 – 11. Fries, again, was surprisingly crispy and just right. Milkshakes was a bit too runny and not blended well enough. Too bad, I got full rather fast this afternoon, couldn’t finish either of them, nor the shake. Again, on the whole the experience was alright. Nothing to write home about, but no major flaw. The place do need a refresh since it looks kind of ‘stale’. Maybe I just lucked out today.

Yeah, this was a pretty cool place when it opened with kent station however long ago… But today, I don’t even know what’s happened. I recently tried it again and I’d say your much better off spending you’re money at any fast food joint really. The service was terrible! We walked in and the kids that were working were more interested in the gossip then they were to greet us. We sat our selves and waited a while before there was any help. Food? Like I said, you’re better off going down the street to the jack and the box.

We got some coupons in the mail for Johnny Rockets. It’s right down the hill from us, so we figured we’d give it a shot. I’d only been there once for a milkshake like 10 years ago. My boyfriend had been there, but it’d been so long he couldn’t remember what it was like. We were seated immediately, since the place was pretty much empty. It was a Saturday night during the holiday season, so the lack of patrons concerned me a bit. I was soon to see why. My boyfriend and I split a Bacon Cheddar Single burger with fries and a Peppermint Mocha Shake. My boyfriend’s daughter ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries. Food took longer than I expected to come out considering the place was empty. The burger was okay. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it was edible. The fries were so-so, but mostly pretty bland. The shake was… very, very thin. Like… it almost seemed melted before we even started. I don’t know what the consistency of the shakes is supposed to be at this place, but other reviewers have mentioned thick shakes. Nothing like that for us. I’d consider our meal disappointing with pretty forgettable food. Now the Bacon Cheese Fries… that was another story. They were just plain gross. The menu says they have melted cheddar cheese on top, but they were clearly doused in fake nacho cheese without the spice. On top of that, they must have been sitting for quite a while because the fries were completely soggy and saturated with the cheese. They were like mush. I think there was also the equivalent of one strip of bacon, crumbled, over the entire basket. Pathetic! Overall, the food ranged from mediocre to downright bad. The staff were all very friendly and the place was clean. That’s really the only good things about this place. When there are other restaurants at Kent Station that can make much better burgers(i.e., The Ram) and other food, why would I ever come back here again?

So i’ve walked by Johnny Rockets at Super Mall, Pacific Place, Redmond Town Center and again at Kent Station… This place seems to be spread out across the greater Seattle area so either they are extremely good, or whom ever owns the name just knows how to market it… I tried it today and its definitely the latter. My burger known as Houston was advertised as: Launch your taste buds with this spicy hamburger! Jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, iceberg lettuce, fresh tomato & our spicy sauce. Actually came out flat like a McDonald’s fish filet. Nothing was launched but my appetite as I bit into a greasy burger with not one, not two, but definitely no more than THREE jalapenos, A slice of pepper jack cheese so thing the peppers came off and a spicy sauce that was non-existent. A burger to help subside hunger, agreed. A burger to satisfy craving? far from it. And for a price of $ 8.99 — fuhgettaboutit. They sell the nostalgic feel and name of the place, its essentially what you’re paying for. That ol’ school diner/burger joint with 50 cent burgers and thick milk shakes. Unfortunately, I ate outside and I didn’t have a milk shake either. Just an over priced burger. Oh with a side of hard cheese coated fries and bacon bits. For $ 8.99 spend the extra buck and go to Red Robin for a more fulfilling burger and bottomless fries. Or save some money and find a Dick’s burger joint(if you’re up north). Go to the Ram, go the Burger King, go to Wendy’s… just save yourself the disappointment and don’t come here.

My family and I came here last friday… BOY… Big mistake. It is a looong wait, BUT… it is a shorter wait than Duke’s or Cal’s. So burgers it is! We found a booth near the back where one of the servers had to clean it off before we sat down… and then… we waited 10 – 15 mins for a menu. What looked liked to be a manager came over and asked if we had been helped… we said no and she quickly apologized. We waiting another 10 – 15 mins for someone to take our order. We ordered two grilled sandwiches with fries, one burger with a salad and one shake. ALLWASDELICIOUS. Well… except for the ranch, that was watered down. otherwise… GOODEATS.
