This will be a bittersweet review since I tried Lunch Matters for the first time, loved it, and unfortunately they will be closing June 14th, 2013. I went with the more Roast Beef sandwich and couscous. After cooking myself for a while, and going to a large variety of restaurants, it is rare to have a flavor combination that I just haven’t had or thought of before. It’s something when you watch cooking shows you go «how did they come up with that?» but without trying it you just know it works. The sandwich was that way for me. Orange caramelized onions? Delicious. Arrugula and tarragon mustard? Delicious. Oven roasted tomatoes? Delicious. Fresh roast beef? Delicious. All of them together? Something new, exciting, satisfying, and of course delicious. I’m not even a big fan of sandwiches but this one was great. I’m sorry that I found out about this place so close to when they will be closing for good.

I was skeptical at first, reading all of these eloquent reviews. I am no longer a skeptic! My sandwich was fantastic! I had the Chicken More with the couscous salad and the Dry Meyer Lemon Gus. Happy, happy, happy. After continuous disappointment eating ANYWHERE in the Lone Tree area, this was a wonderful surprise! Seriously though, the other 5* Unilocal reviews are no exaggeration. Try one, you will want ‘MORE’! :-) Note: They only deliver until 1, although they are open until 3. Also, as other Unilocalers have noted they are very difficult to find.

Roast beef with more is amazing! The potato salad is fresh and homemade and very good. Hard to find the place but is located inside easy entrees. Not a large dinning area but you can call ahead and they will have your sandwich and side in a paper bag ready for you to pick up. Suggest for anyone on the go wanting gourmet sandwiches to give this place a try. The place is also a pre-made meal place where you can order dinners and take and cook at home.

I got the chicken matters sandwich and homemade chicken soup. The sandwich was good not great. For a $ 9 sandwich it was tiny only about 6 inches they cut it in half but finished one half in 2 bites. The soup was ok kinda bland lots of chicken and noodles with a few carrots. I would only go back if the sandwiches were bigger. The turkey sandwich looked larger because it was on a different bread.

Stopped by for lunch today after seeing all these Unilocal reviews and being surprised I didn’t know about this place right around the corner from my office. Basically, the restaurant is a counter in the corner within a larger catering-type business, but don’t let the humble location fool you. The sandwich I ordered, the Tuna«more» was incredible, it was like having a top-flight chef prepare a gourmet sandwich for you in their kitchen. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and delicious, and nothing was assembly line at all. Each sandwich was truly prepared with care and attention, like eating at a close friends. Highly, highly recommended!

Lunch really does matter and there is no finer place to get some(!) than at Lunch Matters! Perfectly crafted sandwiches balance delicate flavors for a party in your mouth! The menu is brief but offers some great choices. There are the classic sandwiches that are more traditional(i.e. roast beef & cheddar, haw & swiss, etc) or there are the«more» options that put a gourmet twist on the classics(i.e. roast beef with balsamic onion marmalade, oven roasted tomatoes, arugula & tarragon mustard or ham & with french brie, sliced apples & honey mustard). As a bonus… The roast beef is house roasted! It is quite delectable. Each sandwich also comes with a side(cole slaw, potato salad, chips or, for a little extra, orange & curry couscous with almonds and currants). They also offer homemade soup and sweets. While this isn’t might not be the most budget friendly lunch spot(classic sandwiches range $ 7 – 8.50, more sandwiches range $ 8 – 9.50), you get quality, local, handcrafted food… Worth every penny! Lunch Matters operates inside Easy Entrees — as Terry B. mentioned, look for the Easy Entrees sign, as there is no Lunch Matters sign.

Tried the More Roast Beef and the More Turkey along with Couscous Salad and ColeSlaw. Everything was delicious and gourmet. A party in your mouth, if you will. Loved it. Loved it all!

Yummy fancy sandwiches. They may be more pricey than Jimmy Johns, but that place stinks anyway. I’ve had the turkey, roast beef and tuna sandwiches and each one had unique delicious flavors. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a hand crafted masterpiece of a sando.

Uh, wow… this is not just a sandwich, it’s gourmet food… Abby really knows how to bring interesting flavors together on a baguette! Great service… Hey Abby… that brownie is a hit.

Love me a good sandwich, and this place really delivered. I have become very cynical to most sandwich places, having worked at a great NY deli all through college. That’s why this indie shop stands out in my book. After an an afternoon in IKEA hell, I was needing salvation in a god meal. The ingredients used in my sandwich were obviously chosen and prepared with care, the service was personal and friendly, and I walked away smiling. Do yourself a favor and skip the«box» sandwich shops and try this little gem. of a restaurant. Oh, try the salads as well, just as tasty as the sandwiches. A little tough to find, but, definitely worth the effort.

Excellent sandwich. Balsamic onion marmalade on the roast beef is amazing. Also tried their excellent cookies and the GUS soda in pomegranate(they do not carry normal pepsi/coke) and it was also very good. Impossible to find so make sure you have the address handy since they don’t really have a posted sign. There are a few outdoor tables in the shade and is not really a dine-in place.

One of the better sandwiches I’ve had. Good bread. Enough meat. Incredibly flavorful. Had the ‘roast beef more’ for $ 9. Better than Panera(which is about a ¼ mile away). My only gripe would be that the potato salad, which looks really good and homemade, was frozen solid so I could not eat it.

I work in the Tech Center and I am always on the lookout for new, NONCHAIN lunch spots. Saw reviews on Unilocal for Lunch Matters and WOW! Do NOT go here if you are looking for the mass produced $ 5 foot longs, etc…(i do go there once in a while also) Go here for one of the BEST sandwiches you will ever have. I had the roast beef«more» which was AWESOME! She roasts the beef herself and it shows. Had the potato salad as my side, which was equally as good. Fresh ingredients, yummy baguette; this sandwich had it all! I will be back for sure! (FYI — more $$ than your basic sandwich joints, and worth every bit!!)

For those of you in the Park Meadows, Lonetree, Meridian area looking for a great new place for lunch… look no more. Lunch Matters has a great selection of FRESH sandwiches and sides that will make you want to come back and try another. I tried the«more matters» Black Forest Ham with French Brie… the brie, apples and honey mustard really add to the flavor and make it a unique sandwich. Of course you can have it the classic way, but now I am going back to try the Chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella and pesto! Awesome place for lunch, they cater and deliver too! You have to try it!

There’s lunch and then there’s lunch that matters. And now I’m an official addict of a new lunch spot called Lunch Matters just south of Park Meadows. The owner takes the sandwich seriously and house roasts her own roast beef and turkey, poaches chicken breast and makes all of the spreads and toppings from scratch. The combinations are creative, unique and perfectly satisfying. I brought in lunch for my office and everything arrived on time, exactly to order and the audible ‘yum’s’ made our lunch meeting a great break from the ordinary, uninspired sandwiches that we normally get. I have two favorites now; the more Roast Beef and the More Turkey. YUM!

Ever realize that it’s almost lunch time and you brought nothing from home and don’t want to eat garbage(burgers, subs, etc.)? I love knowing about this place — Lunch Matters offers amazing sandwiches, soup and sides, and I know that I’ll start my afternoon happy to have gone there. Created by a foodie, Lunch Matters uses all natural ingredients because it makes for a better sandwich. I had the gazpacho last time I was there and LOVEDIT! Even their choice of soft drinks shows that they’re high end and put thought into every nuance of their offering — they serve«Grown Up Soda» with interesting flavors. Not sugary, not diet; perfect complement to a fine Lunch Matters sandwich. Bring a menu back to the office and put it on the office fridge. Be a hero for your next lunch meeting and order from Lunch Matters. Just thinking about this place makes me hungry.

Tucked away in strip mall hell and sharing a place with Easy Entrees,(look for the Easy Entrees sign as there currently is no Lunch Matters sign) is a new sandwhich shop called Lunch Matters. The owner spent many years in the cable TV industry until she decided to head to culinary school and create a lunch heaven. And lunch heaven this is. There are a number of sanwhiches you can choose from including turkey, tuna salad, roast beef, ham, chicken, etc. Additionally, you can choose from a classic version of the sandwhich or «upgrade» to a more gourmet sandwhich. I had the amped up or More Matters Roast Beef, which was excellent. The roast beef itself was perfect, the balsamic onion provides a nice tang, the roasted tomatoes are fantastic and the tarragon mustard really complemented everything. The baguette was also perfect for a sanwhich. As is the case with one of my other sandwhich meccas Vert, these sandwhiches are made with love and it shows. You also get a choice of chips, cole slaw or potato salad.(or couscous for an added cost) While there’s a single table in there, I’m not sure if it’s available for sitting and eating, but grab a sandwhich to go, head back to work or home and enjoy.
