Dunkin’ Donuts

If you need a coffee, and don’t need to come to the mall, go somewhere else, there’s 2 dunkins within 5 minutes. It doesn’t matter what time you get here, their customer service is pretty good, but their food service is horrendous. Half the time I get undercooked hash browns, because they just put them in a pile and throw them in, so the middle ones get soggy. If you want to have to reheat the food you just paid for, to get it to an acceptable temperature, this is the place to go. If you want your food how it should be, stay away! The surrounding dunkins are 10x better.

I live in southern California — the land of Starbucks on every corner. Dunkin Donuts has the BEST coffee and fastest service hands-​down. While you it’s challenging to order a half-​caf soy latte, you can always count on a deliciously brewed cup of coffee every time.

When will we, as consumers, learn? While ordering an iced coffee for me and a donut for my son, I’m standing in front of an advertisement that displays two crisp brown waffles. Sandwiched inside were a bright yellow egg, a sausage patty glistening with fat, and a perfectly melted slice of cheese. Okay, I thought, that looks tempting. I ordered two. What I ended up receiving was a quarter-​sized, pale, soggy waffle. The egg was a circular, congealed sun-​bright egg substance, with a thick slab of artificially flavored maple meat gob. The Dunkin Donuts franchises have gone astray with their endless forays into wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads (these taste like pulverized sawdust), smoothies, bagle twist concoctions, etc. Aside from their donuts and coffee, I’ve yet to have anything that either tastes good or resembles their slick marketing posters. The shop reviewed here is not any better or worse than the others.

Holy speedy coffee, Batman! The drive thru here was awesome. We were all super impressed by how fast they got all our crap together. Of course, no one was there when we went, but still. Nice DD!
