This is a great place for 2 for 1 drinks. The white wine sangria is awesome. The food is also pretty good. I was here with 8 girls and all were happy with what they ordered.

Very deceiving practices, we got conned in by the sharks outside for the 2×1 happy hour, me and my girl got one modelo for each turns out the special is per person. So we got stuck with a second round.bad.

Not one of the bars on Ocean that I’d recommend. Not saying I would recommend any of them. But definitely not this one. Again, same overpriced prices but with a lack of service. Look forward to sitting at your table forever to actually receive the drinks you ordered. I think the nicest person here is the poor hostess trying to lure people in. It’s unfortunate she is not a waiter, because she would do a MUCH better job than most people. Again, drink prices hurt the wallet. The drinks are huge, but they’re not like oh my gosh, life changingly good or anything.

First thing, loud and very expensive for average food. Not all the drinks have prices but the average were $ 15 so we expected that to be the price. Well how wrong we were. We were a table of four. We ordered a piña colada and a strawberry daiquiri, it came to $ 50!!! Okay the glasses were huge but tasted like they should of been $ 5. I can make better drinks. They also add 19% gratuity which is more than I would of given. So I think I’ll skip it next time around!

This was the 1st stop on my trip after checking in and definitely a regrettable one. Things started off ok with the giant drink. However there was much confusion over the 2 for 1 «deal». The waitress with a heavy accent explained the coronas would be included since we didn’t want another cocktail. In the end they charged 9 bucks for some beers we didn’t even want but she said was included. Then when asked about it there was a argument with her and the manager who both said the 2 for 1 doesn’t include beers with cocktails even though she said it did I’m the beginning and the ales pitch was 2 for 1 on any drink. All in all very confusing and bad customer service. In the end they did take it off but definitely put a sour note on the start to my vacation. Food was decent at least but watch out for the 19% tip automatically on that isn’t noticeably listed in the menu and the horrible service that comes with it. Ie asking for tobasco sauce 3 times!

For a cheesy, touristy spot on Ocean Drive, we had a blast at Corona Café. We stopped in during a monsoon and scored a dry table. The food didn’t look great so we did not order anything but if you are in the mood for a tasty drink I highly recommend this place! Sexy Latin music was blasting, the margaritas were huge and strong and delicious(try the ginger one!!), and the people watching is out of this world. The host was fantastic, too. At one point, «Shots» came on over the loudspeaker and he started hooting and dancing and came around pouring shots into people’s mouths. He gave out free champagne at one point too and he was making sure everyone had a great time. We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

Service was slow, but nice. Drinks were delicious but pricy. Food was decent. Right across from muscle beach, so the meal entertainment superseded all.

Isn’t there a «Corona Café» anywhere you go??? Settled on coming here to eat after walking up and down Ocean… my friend was enamoured of fish tacos and the«restaurant street hustler» was nice and friendly without being overly offensive. We ordered guacamole and chips(served in a molcajete and I would highly recommend getting this), fish tacos and carnitas tacos. The restaurant«hustler» told us that there was 2-for-1 drinks so not knowing they were so HUGE, we both ordered margaritas — lime and watermelon. So the guac was fresh and yummy with the chips also being legit. My friend thought his fish tacos were delicious and my carnitas tacos were equally as good — especially as I was craving Mexican food. This is not«Gringo-fied» Mexican, the food here is pretty close to authentic imho. As for the drinks, I’m admittedly a lightweight so let me say that they are HUGE(see picture) and I couldn’t finish mine. Btw, it wasn’t 2-for-1 as claimed, you bought one and got one… you could take the second«to go» but had to advise the waitress before you closed out your check. So the 2-for-1 deal was kind of a «come-on» as one person had to get both drinks… which is the only«negative»… a rough way to start the day… lol… So we got our rather large«to go» cups to take back to our room where we headed directly for a nap!!! Overall, the food is pricey, the restaurant being on Ocean is touristy, yet optimally primed for people watching and the food is of reasonably good quality and tasty. Our waitress was friendly, attentive in the beginning and did come back to check a couple of times during our meal. We had to wave them down to get the check and leave though. Constant blaring music made this place loud but in a kind of fun way. I would recommend it, but appreciate that they are charging top dollar for the vittles based on the vacation location.

Plenty of drinks and they stay open very late even on a week night! We ordered a couple drinks and ate some chip and dip for awhile. Pretty good service, staff very prompt and just dance on the street until customs arrive. Fun time

Ocean blvd is a tourist trap! If you must eat on this street and not other places around the corner than I would recommend Corona Café. The prices although pricey, are better than other places. My gfs and I had sat down at another restaurant on Ocean Blvd when we saw the sign«paella night $ 21.95» when they saw me pointing to it, they put the sign away. When we asked if deal was still valid he said no it’s only before midnight. So that’s how we ended up at Corona Café. We ordered the crab cakes which was ok. The classic paella was good. And the large frozen South Beach drink was not strong, but good for us 3 girls to share. Staff is nice and attentive, unlike other places. People watching is fun.

Nice spot on the sidewalk with more seating on the patio and inside. Room for large groups on the patio. Great spot for people watching. Loud, upbeat music. Excellent margaritas. Servers are friendly, attentive, and fast. Not cheap, but typical prices for SoBe.($ 25 plus 19% service charge for a 32 oz margarita. A great spot on the beach.
