Waffle House

Every time I come in to this location, I always seem to catch a story of some sort. I never asks for it, but I’ll hear it. I seriously, don’t care about complaining. Staff of Waffle House, I could care less about your lazy husbands, your bad kids and you horrible days. I’m sorry, but it won’t increase your tip with me, only decrease. Please stop telling your negative stories… I’d appreciate it.

I have been here about three times and got the all star special. Its a BIG meal which includes waffle, toast, ham or bacon, eggs, grits or hash. Very quick service. Food is good.
We saw a sign that had $ 5 meals but waitress didn’t give us a menu for that. The menu I got was very simple and I wished there was more to choose from.

This used to be my wife and I’s favorite local Waffle House because the service here was always good, but on our visit 10÷14÷15 that all changed.
We walked in and seated ourselves and even though there was only on other customer there it took several minutes to get greeted and waited on.
The food was fine but during the meal we had to listen to our server Christie and the other server discuss their arrest and parole records in great detail with the cook putting in his two cents worth as well. They all also complained about the amount of hours they were or were not getting too.
Not exactly the dinner time conversation my wife and I wanted to hear.
We are just about to the point of not eating out at all and just fixing at home before we have to go out to run errands if were going to have to listen to this kind of crap when we go out to eat.
Plus the prices at Waffle House have risen to the point they are not the bargain the used to be.
We did find out after the fact they do have a $ 5 menu where all items are $ 5 which includes your drink, but we didn’t have one of those menus on our table and our server neglected to inform us of this, I guess hoping for a larger tip off of the regular menu, but that didn’t happen either!

Mooresville Waffle House is at least as good as all of them. And all of them are good. I can always expect a cheery attitude from the helpful and personable staff as they go about their nightly tasks preparing delicious waffles and breakfast foods for the clamoring masses. No matter where I am, Waffle House hits the spot!

It really depends who’s on the grill but 8 out of 10x the food is bangin. Always cooked to order. Hot fast cheap and tastes great. All star is the way to go for breakfast. The food is so cheap bc they don’t pay their employees **** so tip well and they’ll take care you. For the price it’s the best breakfast in Mooresville.

The server’s at this location need training. We were there over an hour patiently waiting for our food. When it finally did arrive the order was completely wrong. We got tired of waiting so we left. All I can say is training is so needed there.

It’s always dependable, and always open! Come at 2 in the morning and you’ll find bubba and fancy folks all eating together, and living’ the Southern way. Breakfast any time!

What can I say I am a scattered, Smothered ‚& covered kind of girl. The Waffle Sandwich was a favorite of mine growing up in Charlotte. Not fancy, just high calorie, high chol., high sodium food. But if your traveling, looking for quick freshly cooked truck stop type food, this is your place. Friendly staffs.
