Great slice place. When you order a pie take out or delivery, it is hit or miss.

Terrible pizza, arguably the worst in the city. Sauce taste worse than Ragu, crust taste like it was frozen at some point and the cheese doesn’t taste right. I would recommend staying away if possible.

Been a long time since I was here but I had a meeting a couple of blocks away so I went for lunch with a colleague. Place was way too warm but it wasn’t crowded. If you are seriously overweight you might want to go elsewhere because seating is very tight. The menu looks like it has about 1000 items but I knew I was getting a cheeseburger. It came quickly and was huge, as in Donald Trump HUGE. Came with a generous order of fries. It was excellent. Cooked medium rare, just as ordered. When my colleague and I stayed after finishing our food to discuss some work related stuff, we weren’t rushed out. In fact, the waiter twice asked if we needed water refills. It made me glad I suggested going there. I will definitely return.

It’s an old school place with a huge menu and a selection that you can tell hasn’t changed since the 70’s. I had: –The turkey club — it was great. Get them with waffle fries. –Slice of pizza — nice crispy slice –Greek salad — not so good, old, dried souvlaki/gyro meat, pretty bad… Service is bad but affordable and their burgers are very good.

I used to work across the street from this place until wee hours in the morning so they were my go to spot after a busy night. It doesn’t have great décor, greasy would be the decorating style, and it’s kind of a tight fit. But that’s because it is usually packed. The only thing I’ve ever had from here is the GIGANTIC burgers they serve up with lightening speed. Now when I say gigantic I mean I got one for my boss who was a big burly guy, and it took HIM by surprise! No, they aren’t healthy in any way. But if you’re coming out of the club, getting off late, or just hungry, you want to come here. The food is tasty, great portions and quick.

A bit pricey but of course it’s Manhattan, one of the best burgers I’ve tasted in a long while, you should demand check them out!

Came in with a Groupon, I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe, ordered it medium and it came burnt. The fountain soda was completely flat. The prices are way overpriced for what you’re getting. Nothing special here, try a local diner instead.

The pizza is one of the worse I’ve had. The crust was dry and overcooked and when I tried to fold it ala NY style, it cracked and broke. The cheese was also very heavy tasting — almost like school pizza. Eggplant topping tasted very mushy and the meatball was plain. Fries tasted like from frozen bag. Price was not cheap. Had a medium pie, half eggplant and half meatball. An extra plain slice and side of fries. Three fountain drinks. Total was $ 43.

I found this place on Groupon and decided to give it a shot. I called in my order; medium pizza half cheese and half eggplant parm. My pizza was ready when I got there and all of the staff were very helpful. The eggplant pizza great; lots of eggplant slices and very filling. The cheese was just okay; I’ve had better. Neither pizza was too greasy and the crust in both was soft and enjoyable. The menu is so extensive so I would definitely come back and try something else again!

I’ll say it… best slice in the city! My friend said the eggplant omelette is crazy good!

It was good, price was inline with a good whole in the wall place. Chicken fingers needed a little more marinating sauce on them on the coating and they would be the bomb. When you come out from Vegas to eat a NY pizza this place is a most definitely stop.

Will never go here again… Way too expensive $ 16 for a bland a** burger no flavor what so ever. I kept asking the server suggestions on what to order she was not helpful at all. Very dissapointed.

I have been to this location twice and each time left satisfied and stuffed! They have a large variety of different foods. I recently had their lamb gyro and it was phenomenal for a non-Greek restaurant! –I highly recommend this to anyone in the neighborhood!

Went here with a Groupon. Not the best service. Very small seating area. We had a gyro pizza. It was decent. Different. Bathrooms weren’t very clean. That always bothers me.

I wanted to like this place. I’ve passed it so many times, questioned it and kept walking. It’s loud and small with a lot of people coming and going. My burger was greasy, thin and not that tasty. My dining partner ordered his medium and it was served rare. The shakes were thin and plain. I don’t plan to go back…

Late night gluten-free pizza in NYC? Yes, please! I’ve been trying gluten-free pizzas all over the country since around 2008 and this one was pretty good. Not the best, but better than 80% of the gluten free pizza options out there. I will definitely be visiting Big Nick’s for late night pizza on my next trip to the city.

A classic New York pizza spot. I ordered the a slice of cheese and a slice of the stuffed spinach and both were quite yummy. Be aware the slices are large. The stuffed spinach especially was the equivalent of two slices. Both slices were yummy but frankly pretty average; I definitely was sick of spinach by the time I finished. My boyfriend ordered a slice of the wheat pizza and it was waaaay better than either of my pieces! I probably should have ordered something different. The servers were super friendly, and the price of the food was reasonable. Big Nick’s isn’t my favorite spot but I will probably go back sometime.

Old school NYC pizza used to be some of the best in the city. Love this place from growing up, but the food isn’t what it used to be. But I’ll go rare occasions for pizza. Rest is just«ok». It’s seen better days and it’s stuck in a time warp, but not in a good way

I had the white slice, I don’t know how long it was sitting out but yuck! It tasted like reheated cardboard. I had the calamari and it didn’t taste very fresh, I didn’t like the breading, it tasted like a boxed breading, and it was salty and oily. The marinara sauce was flavorless. I also had a specialty slice with veggies and sausage, I really want to say it was good but it wasn’t. The dough they use here is thick, dense and flat with no flavor. The place is crowded and uncomfortable, the service is meh… I really enjoy good pizza and this was the worst I’ve ever had.

Adorei o lugar! Possui pizzas gluten free, chicago style e integral. Acabei pedindo 2 pedaços de pizza para viagem! Deus do céu as pizzas são DELICIOSAS! Tanto a peperoni quanto a Neopolitan! O slice é super grande! Super recomendo experimentar as pizzas! Hmmmm

DER Burgerladen in New York.

Landläufig heisst das a neighborhood landmark since 1962″. Alles weitere mir vielen Fotos:
