Ok for starters I spend $ 54 on food that was made with no consideration towards the customer at all. I ordered a Eggplant Parm Entrée that came with only two pieces of eggplant and a riceball that came out to $ 13… you would think they would give you pasta and a piece of bread too, like come on really? We also got the calamari salad, calamari was chewy and i also asked for no dressing and they put rasberry dressing on it… and the chicken parm entrée came with no pasta and bread either… im almost afraid to eat it. Won’t be ordering from here in the future, save your money

Stopped in here today for a birthday lunch with some family. Small place, but were able to accommodate 7 of us. Everyone had some type of sandwich. I had the panelle special. For those of you that might not be familiar with this Italian specialty, let me give you a description. It is made from chick pea dough that is pressed into patties and then fried. Layer a few patties on a roll, top with fresh ricotta and then some shaved parmigiano cheese. Slip it in the broiler for a minute to get the roll nice and toasty and warm. That my friends is a pannelle special. Something so simple but so delicious as only Italians can do. Any way, whoever attempts to make a pannelle will have a hard time competing with the greatest pannelle in Brooklyn, Joes Of Ave U! That said, this one was not bad. The taste was good and it would have been better if they had put more of everything on it. There were just a few patties on it and a small amount of ricotta. I was able to eat it without making a mess, which is a key indicator that there wasn’t enough on the sandwich. Moving along, the others had eggplant parm sandwiches on different breads, and a meatball parm hero. The breads here are very good. They give you a choice of what type you want. Brick oven, Italian, whole wheat, roll, etc… The eggplant was good. Had a nice taste, but there just wasn’t enough of it on the sandwich. Pretty much everyone eating it said it would have been better if it were fried. I’m not a big eggplant eater, but I also prefer it that way. My brother gave the meatball hero a thumbs up. All in all, not a bad place to try. The staff were all nice, but the food did take a pretty long time and all meals were brought out except for the pannelle which came out 10 minutes after the others. MY son and I had to watch everyone else eat while we waited for ours. Not the best method serving. A few tweaks with the amount of food and the service time, and this place could easily be bumped to 4 stars.

Awesome spot especially for lunch. Staff is very friendly. I had the chicken BLT sandwich and my friend had one of the brick oven pizzas. Both were delicious.
