Orders processed quickly and correctly. No issue with service here, but my guy said he usually has a very long wait to get food. I guess I brought him good luck! The tables could’ve used some tending too– we were able to sit at the clean end of a 4 person table, but there was definitely room for improvement. I had a fine experience. Nice and convenient to downtown Oak Park.

This Chipotle gets good marks from me for serving me and my buddy right at closing time despite the fact they were obviously cleaning up. The burrito bowl was good and exactly what you’d expect — it’s a Chipotle! :)

It’s not an average chipotle. We have had undercooked chicken while eating here. We have had soggy chips while eating here. We have had very slow service with a line that is not that long while here. It’s in Oak Park so you expect better but you are mistaken. The best part is that you can park in the garage behind this chipotle for under one hour for zero dollars. That way you can order your food, pay for it, sit down, eat it, then spit it out and make it back to your car without paying for parking. They need to step it up at this location that is so desperately in need of a new attitude and commitment to service. Street parking is scarce and usually for pay. There is no outside seating. The bathrooms I can’t comment on as I can’t remember.

woo i wish i could give a straight up ZERO. Ordered online, picked it up and received two burrito bowls that look like they were sitting in the sun for 24 hrs MINDYOU, i didnt even order a burrito bowl? Got my money back and took myself to another location. No customer service skills and there is literally always an issue going into this location.

Go to another Chipotle! I’ve been to this location a few times and its continues to be a disappointment. Slow service and they skimp on meat and guacamole. Just got a bowl with guac to go and was offended by the amount they put on for an extra $ 1.95. Which has sparked this review. If you need a chipotle fix and can swing it, head to the one on Harlem and Cermak. Always happy with that location.

Sometimes the wait is longer then should be and when already dealing with congestion on Lake street then it can feel frusterating but heck then a burrito makes anything better right? Its fresh fake mexican in the form of burritos and burritoless burritos in a bowl. Food is fresh and cooked in front of you, your meal is prepared made to order in front of you and every aspect is yours to customize your fake mexican food however you like with the ingredients. Limited seating with cafeteria style seats and tables which are usually clean. Bottles of hot sauce are available in the dining area but I wish they had to go packets beacuse it can be rather inconvenient if you are taking yours to go home.

Get the ‘quesarito’, they said. It’ll be great, they said. You know what they didn’t say? How much that motherfluffer costs. Since all they really do is melt some cheese pre-burrito assembly, I figured it’d be a dollar upcharge, maybe two at most. It was nearly $ 4 extra. I had heard about this ‘wrapping your burrito in a cheese quesadilla’ thing on some fast food hacks website so naturally I had to try it… never again. SO not worth the additional charge, like not even close. Also(and this isn’t the fault of the location), they had no spicy shredded pork, which I get 99.9% of the time. There was a chain-wide shortage of barbacoa so I had to compromise with something less awesome. Were it not for the fact that I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in, and Chipotle’s typically carry not 1, not 2, but 3 different types of Tabasco(for which I’m very grateful), I’d be less forgiving with my rating.

I’ve never really understood the purpose of Chipotle. If you want fresh, good Mexican food, you are literally ever only a few miles away from wonderful establishments all over the Chicagoland area. Overrated, this specific establishment was rather slow as well. I do appreciate how the servers were welcoming and happily discussed what items were and weren’t vegetarian. I tried the new Sofritas(seasoned tofu), which was okay but an admirable addition to their menu. Other than that, I don’t find anything about Chipotle ‘gourmet’, other than their prices for mediocre food.

20 minute wait in line. They were out of steak. Another 20 minute wait after paying only to see them comp the meals of other people who had to wait too. Wont be coming here anymore.

Uh oh, back to 1 start again. Sucks to be me when I wanted a Salad bowl and I came to this Chipotle, and as usual, it was only 7:55 P.M., no romaine lettuce left for the salad bowl. I love parking, then waiting in line for 15 minutes, and not being told that they are out of lettuce until I order — that’s so fun! Letting people in line know that they are OUT of something would be too considerate. I guess I am insane since I came to the same Chipotle on multiple occasions expecting different outcomes.

I’m a fan of Chipotle in general, I frequent quite a few since I drive all over the burbs for work. This is the worst Chipotle I’ve been to. The employee are not attentive and forget about a smile. The service is typically slow and it’s not because they’re busy, it’s because they have no sense of urgency or consideration for customers time. I go to the one in Oak Brook during lunchtime which is WAY busier and they rock the line! Like other reviews I would agree the food is inconsistent and if you preorder you still will have to wait. If you’re in the area and you really want Chipolte go to Melrose Park, it’s clean, fast, and friendly.

Typical franchise. This is close to home and my husband and I didn’t want to have Potbellys for dinner so we came here. We had dinner here on a Friday night around 830pm and it was pretty busy. I had the chicken fajita bowl and my husband had the steak burrito. The lady in the front doesn’t seem like she wanted to work. We got the attitude that she was tired and a bit lazy. Asked for a little sour cream and she gave us a lot. Had to repeat what we want twice because she didn’t catch it in the beginning. This is just a fast food place so I didnt have high expectations.

I went to this location once before in the afternoon, and today as well, one thing that rubs me the wrong way(no pun intended). Is when customers reach over the glass and nearly lean over and into the food when they point out what they want. The«blast shield» at this location needs to be higher and extend towards the line more. Both times it was someone young who did it, both of the times the person looked like they could really use a shower. Unfortunately there is no sign or chipotle worker telling these people to not reach over the barrier. Plus, each time, the person(the first time) a young man and the second time a young lady were BOTH scratching themselves in their PRIVATE areas! Yes in line and yes that was the hand they used to point with!!! Luckily I had a witness with me the second time to see this and if that did not turn me off, seeing employees play with their hats and hair WHILE wearing gloves, the same gloves they used to make customer’s food was a turn AND then cleaning off the counter by wiping it off with THOSE same gloves!!! That was enough I walked out and down to Jerusalem Café where the service, customers and workers are clean, efficient and sanitary. Plus very loud, for example, the girl in front of me and my lady was busy twirling about and being loud and trying to add everyone in her conversation with her male friend. Ridiculous. Long lines both times be prepared to wait awhile.

«Having once been so high, humanity fell so low. What had once been dedicated to the soul was now dedicated to the sale.» — John Kennedy Toole The location that suggests I’ve set the bar for my abysmally-low expectations of formulaic restaurant chains… a bit too high. Unimpressed, sirs.

I’ve heard rumors that this is the busiest Chipotle. Like, anywhere. Or something like that. I believe it because it is pretty gosh darn busy. Long lines and crowded seating areas are common. The employees bustle along like a long established German train schedule. There is no idle chatter here! But there’s also not much personal connection. What can I say about the food? I mean. It’s a chain. It’s probably just like any other Chipotle out there. When they first opened I always got burritos. Then I graduated to a burrito bowl. Now I like the salads, but I recently went back to the bowl. You see, I worry about the calories in this stuff. I’m not on a diet, but I’d rather save my high calorie meals for really GOOD food(you know — like a fancy restaurant that has table cloths). But as far as fast food goes I would probably choose Chipotle over many other places.

Ordered online in advance twice. On both occasions, my food was not ready when scheduled and the food wasn’t made quite to order. Friendly staff and good food, but the online ordering process has some wrinkles to be addressed at this location.
