Knightly Spirits had one of the best selections of beer that I’ve found in Orlando. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly the kinds of beers that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, they are now closed and Metro Wine is moving in the location. Just in case someone was looking at going there :(

This place has everything you need under one small roof. It’s a bit packed in here but if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, they’re likely to have it. I went in to pick up a bottle of iQhilika chili mead(which nobody carries) and was nearly overwhelmed with the huge variety of microbrews at reasonable prices. Occasionally they have tastings of different wines, beers and whatnot. Check in frequently to see what they’ll have and when.

I used to live in Metrowest which is where the beer journey that Knighly spirits has put us on all started. Back then there was a manager named jason who turned us on to many of fine beers, wines and liquer. When we would come in and ask for a inferior tequilla he would say«No!, Drink this not that! It’s only a few bucks more and the quality is better. He liked us well enough and we took his opinions. Soon we were getting pretty deep in the beer journey, we’d come in and ask hey what do you have that is new? They have the largest selection of beer in orlando, hell probably in the state of florida or even all of the south. As our journey continued we fell in love with a wonderful saison from Fantome a brewery inBelgium, if you see it buy it, and let it sit for a few years. It’s worth the wait. So as our journey progressed it was time for Jason to move on and pass the torch to another guy, his protégé Alan. Alan is still there, ask him anything, he is very helpful, if he doesn’t have it chances are he can order for you by case. So whatever your fancy belgiums, microbrews from places like lost coast, rogue ales and liquers, or if you are just a plan hophead this place is for you.

Great variety here – more beers I don’t recognize than Total Wine or Whole Foods or other places I’ve seen that carry non-standard(see: decent) beers. It does look normal from the outside but the back third of the store is loaded with single bottles and six-packs. Also great service – this is the only place I’ve ever shopped where they stuffed cardboard in the bags so the bottles didn’t carol against each other in the trunk all the way home.

Deceptively innocuous exterior. Inside is unquestionably the best beer selection around. They also carry a great assortment of sake, mead, liquor, and I see wine but don’t go for that. Some of the beers are pricey, but it’s not their markup — it’s just expensive beer. Plenty of domestic microbrews to choose from, and an ever-expanding list of imports to try. You just can’t keep up, so don’t be in a hurry to try. Currently their inventory is in the high hundreds of different brews. Shake off your dependence on the McDonald’s calibre beer at the grocery store, and see what’s possible when people give a crap about their product. The employees give expert advice, so if you have only a vague idea of what you want, or none at all, they can provide guidance.

You like German, Belgian or American micro brews? Then you’ll just about have a beergazm like my husband did when you visit Knightly Spirits. It’s very small, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in selection. They also have a nice bunch of sake, wine, and other assorted adult beverages. Helpful and friendly staff/owner. Cheers! =D

I have never been here in person but back in the day it was the only place in town that sold dogfish head world wide stout so I had a couple friends pick it up since it’s not a side of town I go to very often. Now that total wine is here I don’t need to do that anymore. bunch of reviews of it over on rate beer.

Don’t let the tiny storefront location fool you, this place has the best selection of imported beers and American craft brews in Central Florida. The liquor selection is pretty good as well, with an eye toward variety rather than just the big name brands. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality.
