This is a hotel my husband & I visited while in Savannah to celebrate our anniversary and we were quite disappointed. We stayed using points and for 20,000 points but this hotel does not provide the value of 20,000 points. We will not stay here again. We were provided a suite that smelled like mold and made my wife sick. The room was dark and damp feeling. The front desk was called during the evening about the mold problem but it seemed the person was not concerned. We were told that we could change rooms in the AM but instead we opted to change hotels all together. The furnishing is extremely dated in our room. The bathroom wall paper was peeling off and secured with globs of caulking. The dining area, pool area and fitness room was not used while we were here so cannot speak on this. The other reviews posted seem to support the fact that there are problems at this hotel. Although it was more of a drive we went to the Holiday Inn Express in Central Savannah. When checking out in the AM my husband inquired about his points being returned and the front desk staff could only say that she didn’t know and I had to call myself-shouldn’t the front desk know the process. She never cared to ask why we were leaving. The expectation is that someone from management should have called us before we checked out in the late morning.

Holiday Inn isn’t a 5 star hotel but I am rating my stay with 5 stars. Traveling south on I-95, I stopped by for a night. The low rating this hotel received is incredibly biased. The fitness center had a machine or two that were out of order coincidently when one person stayed there? It was fine when I was there. Don’t let one hotheaded dillhole throw you off from choosing this hotel. Starting with the staff: from front desk to housekeeping, everyone was very pleasant. Made me feel comfortable and at home. Room was clean. Pillows were soft. Towels were washed. Free WiFi. Plenty of lights. Clean bathroom. Very nice room. Only drawback was that the tv wasn’t bigger than 20″ and was SD. But Who stays at a hotel for the tv? It did have HBO, though. The pool wasn’t anything grand. The deepest point was 5 ft, but the evening dip was still enjoyable. Breakfast from 6 – 9:30AM. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, milk, variety of cereals, fruits, bread, and bagels. In short, great, hot breakfast. If you’re passing through and are looking for a comfortable room for a night or two, I recommend this hotel over any other nearby.

Their so called«fitness room»? Look at the two photos I posted. Very friendly staff, cookies in the lobby each day and when I reported my drains were not draining, they were fixed. But c’mon, repair your equipment!
