This place was a big disappointment. I came here after shopping at the cute little market next door. The 3-for-$ 5 pupusa advertisement lured me in. I was craving some good pupusas tonight. I ordered six. The wait was about 20 minutes. These pupusas were not good at all. They were bland, with little to no cheese. They tasted like refried beans in a corn tortilla. ALSO, they only gave me FIVE. That upset me the most. Pupusas are a Salvadorian specialty. This is a Guatemalan taqueria, and an empty one at that. There were only two other guests when I walked in. That’s warning enough.

If you want a place that has half-cooked, tasteless, papusas, with a waitress half-confused as to what your order is, this is the place for you! We went there on a whim, seeing how we really liked Mexican food, and we heard they were offering papusas, one of our favorite El Salvordian dishes we haven’t been able to eat since Amelia’s downtown closed. We went there, and tried placing our order with this nice lady. Only downside, she didn’t really know English. And we were half concerned she might accidently put something in the pupusa we didn’t want. We waited more then 25MINUTES, and seriously, they were just like moving back and forth in the kitchen. I saw the chef put multiple things into her mouth whilst making mouth. YUCK. But then, when we FINALLY got our order, it smelled good, but the packaging SUCKKSSSSS. It was seriously just foil and paper plates. We had to walk home with a couple of plates and foil, and we were pretty sure it was gonna fall apart any moment. Finally, we got home and uncapped the papusas. Sure enough, some were cooked, and some weren’t. I had ordered a bean and cheese papusa for my sister, and there was NOCHEESE, just beans. The papusas were half-cooked, there was liitle or no cheese, and worse of all, tasteless. You would’ve thought that waiting for more then half an hour would’ve got us delicious, fresh papusas, but instead brought us just the opposite. Don’t go here!
