Closed. Permanently. Changed owners in 2013, tried to eat there, but they weren’t operational yet. I drive by weekly at a minimum on that street and it appears that they never opened. Too bad, I would have liked another Indian restaurant in our area.

This restaurant is essentially walking distance from my old apartment and had this place opened a few months earlier, I would have thought twice about buying a house and moving. My girlfriend and I absolutely love Indian food, so when we heard that a Himalayan Indian restaurant had opened in our old neighborhood, we had to give it a shot. We were definitely not disappointed. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly(though it was pretty slow that night, I’d like to see if there is any difference on a busy night). The food was fantastic! My girlfriend, who is a vegetarian, was pleasantly surprised by the number of vegetarian dishes they offered. We will definitely be returning! The only complaint I can think of is that it was pretty chilly inside the restaurant that night. I’ll chalk that up to a new restaurant hiccup and assume it’s not the norm. It may be a good idea to bring a jacket, though, just in case.

Great food, good service, the chicken wrap was very traditional with a modern twist, They will definitely see me again, maybe tomorro for the lunch buffet!
