Burger Junction

I went here recently because my sister said it was a really good burger place. When I was being rung up for my food, the receipt did not print out so the girl that was ringing me up swiped my card twice in order to give me a receipt even after I said I was fine with out the receipt. The food was okay, a little soggy on the fries but not bad. I’m the type of person to always check my bank statement on the daily and I noticed I was charged $ 30 twice from burger junction so I went back to settle it with the manager. When I told him my issue he immediately got aggressive and started calling me a liar even after I showed him my bank statement. I kept calm being that I had my two young children with me. He continued to yell at me and told me to get out. I don’t think anyone should be treated this way, and that’s why I give them one star. Horrible customer service and I will not be coming back.

Some off the best Hamburg i have had the service is great the food is great the building looks a little old but even I guess what that comes with time because it’s even great try the Teriyaki chicken bacon sandwich it’s to die for

This place has been on the corner of Florin and Power Inn for at least 25 years now. The food is perfect burger joint stuff.
The bacon cheeseburger and curly fries are so good for the money it’s almost beyond absurd. I only ding a star for the dog of a location and other than Heineken a crappy beer selection.
With them being on the way from my house to both Device & New Glory, both forgivable things.

Had lunch there and thought we were going to get a ⁴⁄₅ star experience as indicated by past reviews. The prior reviews must have been written by family and friends. The two burgers we got were over cooked and nothing special, zucchini and onion rings were over cooked/​burned and must have been frozen and not fresh to start with, and the milk shakes were watery and given to us in small cups. I gave them one star because the pictures of older hot rods on the wall. Believe me please do not waste your money or time and go somewhere else.

Sometime when I’m craving for burgers, I would come here for lunch. I usually ordered the hamburger Jr. meal, which was a good amount for me. I heard the regular hamburger was huge. The hamburger Jr meal comes with fries and a small drink that can be refill.
The hamburger was freshly cooked with fresh vegatables.
I would definitely come back again!

So I constantly crave chili cheese fries. Not the chili cheese fries that have grated cheese on top and definitely not the chili cheese fries that have a slice of Krafts singles on top. No, I want
chili cheese fries doused in that good ol cheddar cheese sauce/​liquid cheese/​nacho cheese/​cheese wiz!!! You know what I’m talking about. Ever since I moved to Sac this has been a struggle for me to find, until now!
Burger Junction deserves 5 stars based off of their chili cheese fries alone! I ordered those along with a chicken sandwich and I was satisfyingly full. Next time I will try an actual burger, I’m sure it will be amazing as well!

Burger junction: A matter of taste
Its all about the buns and the burger they put in it.
To give some historical notes they have been open since 1989, and still have a picture of there very 1^st customer on the wall, and a few other family and customer moments from years ago.
I really like the fact the gentleman (i think the owner) still works the grills and keeps it going. Tradition, commitment, and dedication comes to my mind when i walk in and see pictures of many years ago, see the guy in the picture still cooking, and keeping up with a delicious burger and more.
The food: burgers are «huge» i have not yet even dared to try a double burger here. The standard for the burger produce is lettuce, tomato, pickels and thousand island dressing. My usual favorite is the mushroom and swiss burger, but i have added jalapeños to it and that was good idea! I did try the steak and cheese and of course added mushrooms and onions, it was good but a little «salty» for me. But only tried it once.
Some of my future wanna tries will be the giant junction burger ½ lb patty with pastrami and cheese or go lil smaller with the grand junction ¹⁄₃ lb patty with pastrami and cheese.
The BUN, is very soft, and big but yet not a thick bread like kind. It’s one of the best buns i have had, i wish i could buy these for home there that good, you need to feel one and eat one to understand the goodness of the buns here.
Sides: they have regular, curly and chilli cheese fries, as for the regualr and curly fries always been good! And they have fried mushrooms, and if you haven’t figured me out yet, i have tried them a few times and they are good to, not overly battered, got a great crunch to them and i have not had soggy and loaded with oil in them either. Which is a plus, cause nothing like a ruined lunch/​dinner with soggy oily fried food. Oh yes onion rings are good to.
Drinks they have soda, teas, bottled water, and beer! So if your in the mood for a burger and a beer or just a soda get your burger fix on.

This is the best burger I’ve had in a very long time!!! That’s all you need to know. The burgers are amazing! Hand pressed patty. Toasted bun. Fresh produce. O.k. those are a few more important facts.
I had the mushroom swiss burger. You have to order the fries separate. There are no combos. It was almost 7 bucks for just the burger. (Almost earned them 4 stars) I know that sounds like a pretty expensive burger, but worth every penny. The mushrooms sautéed, 2 pieces of cheese. It just melted in my mouth. I could not stop eating it. I wasn’t even that hungry.
If your looking for the best mouth watering burger you’ve ever had. Go to The Burger Junction. I’ll see you there.

We had the need for Beef and decided to Unilocal it up… A picture speaks a thousand words… hands down the burger joint that spoke to us was BURGER JUNCTION. As the many reviewers before me I can say this is without a doubt one of those places you do not want to avoid for its lack of curbside appeal and décor. In the event you are able to pass up the delicious display of meat and cheese upon toasted perfection shared by all of those that braved the old town of Florin — you may possibly be missing out on one of the best burgers of your life.
We were immediately greeted by an open, classic dive style counter where we decided on our burger choices from a fairly basic menu posted behind the front counter, we ordered mushroom cheeseburgers and curly fries. Our table offered a clear view of our car and a clean shot of the grill where all the magic appeared to happen. A modestly aged man was working the grill with great ease and Finess. He had a sort of method to which he grilled fresh meat, hand sliced and toasted buns. Each effort made to mount sauteed mushrooms, grilled diced onions and melt cheese seemed to make all the difference in the outcome of this exquisite bite. Everything about this experience was different and delicious! We have already plotted our next conquer… Trying new eats is fun and this one was a win!

I’m from east bay and I was in the area and u searched for burgers and found burger junction and I’m glad I came here. I ordered the mushroom burger and my brother ordered the bacon burger. Both burgers were fresh, tasty and good looking too. We watched the our food being prepared from the windows. Very delicious. One of the best charbroiled burgers for sure. Definitely recommend this place

The Giant Junction burger is huge with plenty of cheese and pastrami. You really get what you pay for with this $ 8 burger– its huge and juicy delicious. Will keep coming back for this burger. The fries are average …

I have been coming to this place since high school. Moved away to college and still continue to come back once or twice a year.
10 years later and it’s still the best burgers in town!

No frills décor and no frills food. The open kitchen gets a plus (who doesn’t enjoy watching their food be properly cooked?) The cashier was rather detached but did his job.
Burgers: standard, classic ingredients with no hype. Cooked well. It’s easy to mess up a veggie burger but Burger Junction did it justice. Not fancy so don’t expect any pineapples or cool sauces.
Sides: again, predictable.
Neighborhood isn’t pretty, but that’s what to-​go is for.

Burger Junction aka SALT CITY. Yikes. My boyfriend mentioned this burger place before and I finally decided we should go.
We got the pastrami burger, philly cheesesteak, and small fries to share. The cashier, a young lady, was very friendly and asked if we had enough time to look at the menu. There is a window where you can see into the kitchen as they cook your food.
The philly cheesesteak is pretty plain — steak, onions, and cheddar cheese on a roll. It was incredibly salty — I’m not sure if it was the seasoning or the cheese. I wish it was provolone and was dressed with lettuce and tomato — that would have helped cut the salt. I liked the softness of the bread.
The burger was also very salty, probably from over seasoning and pastrami. I liked the softness of the bun as well.
The fries were standard, but surprisingly NOT salty. Weird.
The food was too salty for me, but others probably enjoy it. It’s kinda in the middle of nowhere, but at least there’s a parking lot so parking is easy. The building and décor is very old/​outdated, but the establishment is clean.
I would give 1.5 stars if I could, but rounded up because maybe it was a fluke or I’m too sensitive to salt (?). The workers were nice too. As it stands, I would not return or recommend.

Good food, good service, good location.
And if u have extra time on the weekends, u might receive a good story amongst good american muscle car owners who meet here every weekend.

I wanted to try a different burger joint in Sacramento aside from my usual go to’s.
I Unilocaled until I came across this place, so I decided to check it out. It’s not in the best part of town but it’s okay if you go in the day time.
I tried the pastrami burger because pastrami is freaking awesome, so a pastrami burger must be amazing!
I also had an order of the curly fries. Service was quick and nice.
I took a bite of my burger, it was good but honestly, I couldn’t tell there was pastrami in my burger. The meat was overpowering it, so it’s almost like a waste. There’s no fancy sauce or anything, just good ol’ mayo so if you don’t like mayo, this might not be your burger. I like aioli in my burgers personally.
I don’t think I’ll come back to this place — just a place to try out and check out. I’ll resort back to my favorite burger places in Sacramento — Burgers and Brew (too good!).

I support family owned restaurants! Price is good, food is decent, and service was good. I got the giant burger it was delicious. The buns are soft and the portions are good. Their curly fries are good too yumm!

Wow I’m a big guy but a double burger was wayyyyy too much burger for me. Live and learn.
I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon and avocado, curly fries, and fried zucchini and two milkshakes, 1 banana and 1 strawberry.
The cheeseburgers were huge and quite tasty.
The fried zucchini was great as were the curly fries that were automatically given with ranch.
The milkshakes were immediately ready to drink and did not get stuck in their tiny straws at any point. My only point of contention with the shakes was their tiny size. Felt like a 12oz milkshake. I did not see an option for a bigger size shake. At this price I would say to skip the shake and just opt for a soda.
Overall this place is really good. Good enough to brave being on the other side of the street from that dead body abyss that is Fast Trip??? This place is best visited during daylight hours. After dark, you don’t want to gamble with your life in the Ku-Ma-Te…be cool off that son!
