Teriyaki Maki

Food was okay price a little expensive. I have had better sesame chicken. Way too much rice

Never go to this place. They just got out take out order wrong. When I called back to complain the person who took the order Huangi started arguing with me over the phone. This place has no customer service. They suck!

Sushi was ok, but the Ramen bowls were excellent. Three and a half would be perfect. The roll with soft shell crab was good too.

Great little place to eat if you like Japanese type foot. It’s not a big fancy restaurant but the prices are fair and the food is good.

The food is not edible. We ate here before the Kings game based on FAKE reviews obviously. I had the Philadelphia roll and there was not enough soy sauce in Japan to make it taste like food. Run far away.

This has recently become our go to spot after work or on the weekends. The food is good and the prices are decent. My boyfriend likes the combos and bento boxes, I like the sushi.
Now of note, this is not the best Japanese or teriyaki place in the area but it’s convenient and it satisfies cravings. My second important note is do NOT get the ramen. The picture on the wall is misleading. You get a bowl of packaged ramen (the dried curly noodles) with some broth, a few chunks of chicken and a sprinkle of veggies. Stick to the teriyaki, tempura and sushi.
The staff here is friendly but don’t expect anything fancy. If you want cheap, go to Teriyaki Time because you’ll get more bang for your buck. If you want authentic sushi, go to Sushi Elite. If you want something down the middle or if you and your boo want different things, come here.

I thought this place was really nice. If you want a decent sushi without breaking the bank, you should definitely come here They have 2 sushi rolls for 15 bucks ! I really liked my roll, which was the dragon roll and I thought the miso soup was great :)

This place has excellent sushi for an excellent price. Get the Maki Sushi roll and the tempura. They also have an amazing teriyaki plate to go.

Fast service and friendly staff. I was craving sushi and stopped in to this place as it was near by. The sushi was fresh and the price is good; two rolls for $ 15 isn’t bad. This is my new local sushi spot for take-​out. I look forward to trying other things on the menu in the future.

Not sure how people are rating this four or five stars. I had soggy sushi and fishy tuna. The only saving grace for the second roll was the cheese masking the flavor of the roll. I wouldn’t recommend the sushi here. Teriyaki may be a different story.

Good teriyaki chicken, but the veggies were weird. I was hoping for carrots, broccoli, cabbage standard issue but got a combo of cabbage, bean sprouts and shredded carrots. Good sized portions though. Did not try the sushi as it is mostly crab mix or unagi based. Prices are ok.

For the price this place has good food! I get the sesame chicken bowl and it’s anyways good and enough! It fills me up for lunch… I used to eat here more when I worked down there but now I go when I am in the area.

Currently sitting in a food coma after eating this. Got the Maki Special as someone on here suggested. Loads of chicken and well cooked rice, the sushi roll was flavorful and fresh!
Best part it was quick, close to the place I am staying and cheap! This makes sushi dinner an easy choice! I shall return!

Teriyaki Maki was very good for the price! I got the combo with teriyaki beef& chicken, the beef was very tender & had great flavor, the chick was a tad dry.
Good to know, usually the beef can be chewy or over cooked:) was accompanied with a large heap of rice!
It came with salad, tempura (5 large vegi pieces& 2 shrimp) & gyoza. The shrimp tempura was probably my favorite of the meal. Was bummed the dressing given is Italian?!
Also shared the crunchy roll & shrimp lovers roll:)they were both very yummy!
They are Large pieces, that fall apart easy, but fresh & tasty for an excellent value.
My boyfriend got the beef noodle plate, he enjoyed it.
They close at 9 I got in about 7:45 and it was pretty busy, everything was served in to go styrofoam even tho I said I was eating there. they were outta miso soup, minor bummer bc it was rainy. Overall good food for the good prices:)

I ordered the beef bowl. Food is good but they don’t give that much beef. They chicken bowl however has a good amount of meat. I also got the spicy 2 roll. Really good. I would’ve given them 4 stars because of the kind of skimp portion of beef, but the customer service here is really good. So they get 5 stars.

good decent sushi and a reasonable price. Always takeout from here when craving sushi and they always deliver. Make sure to take your own chopstick as they usually don’t include them in the to-​go bags. My opinion: they have the best sushi for the price in Natomas.
+sometimes you see the kings players grabbing dinner from here.

As you walk in the first thing you will see is the pictures of their Sushi Menu on the wall. They have GREAT Lunch specials! I do like their Crunch Roll and Tempura. This place have been here for awhile and they do have tasty food.
Soda station for a refill and don’t forget the hot sauce on the table.
This is located at the end of a strip mall and do have lots of parking.

It’s fast food sushi. I don’t think anyone should come into a sushi place like this with high expectations. This place delivered right to what I expected — cheap, saucy rolls.
Not saying it’s bad per say, but the rolls I’ve had so far have taste like glorified spicy tuna rolls. I got two different rolls to compare, and I think one had seaweed salad on it, and the other didn’t. I can’t recall what I got. You can get 2 rolls for $ 15. It’s okay if you get the right rolls. Otherwise, I got two spicy tuna rolls for $ 15… meh haha
During a different time, I went to get a volcano roll. It was okay, but a little better than the last time.
Even if it’s cheap for sushi — just to put cost into perspective, I can get a bowl of ramen for the price of one roll. Or I can go to a higher quality sushi spot and for a dollar more, get a chriashi bowl instead of 2 rolls…

This place sucks… hands down. Sorry but it really does. I dont know why I even bothered to come here. Just because based on the other reviews it seemed somewhat decent but its low quality «asian food».
My boyfriend ordered the spicey honey chicken with rice and he could tell immediately that the chicken was old. We also got a dragon roll with bland pieces of eel on top, soggy shrimp tempura inside and tasteless imitation crab. Then my bento box had 3 mesily pieces of gyoza that looked like they came in the frozen section at costco, teriyaki chicken with thick surupy sauce on top, 4 pieces of california rolls with the avocado inside already black and the rice kinda stale.
I was far from pleased. Save yourself the grief and dont bother with this place. The chinese place next door probably tastes better.
