Fantastic food — great selection — something for the dieter and non-dieter.

I ordered a meal to go and decided to get a brownie for my grandson who, at ten years old, has never met a brownie he didn’t like. The brownies on display looked old so I mentioned I would like a fresh one. I was told the pastries on display were just that — displays and they would get a fresh brownie. I didn’t think anymore of it until my grandson began to attempt to eat his brownie. It was hard, old and disgusting — you could pound nails with it, and he refused to eat it(first time EVER). In addition, the trio salad I ordered was completely wrong. Instead of kale I received tuna(I have a fish allergy) and had to throw the entire meal away for fear of contamination. Disgusting service, old pastries, incorrect orders. I would steer clear.

The lady in the front messed up on my order a few times so kind of through my night just a bit. But overall the chicken pesto sandwich there is great and the combo is sweet for the price. Come with chips and soup. Sadly drink is separate for some reason. If you’re looking for some good coffee or delicious hot chocolate, you have my say so

I was so disappointed with Corner Bakery. The time previous to today I realized how little meat and cheese they put in their sandwiches and refrained from going again until today, hoping maybe they had gotten it together. I was wrong! I got home and saw that my $ 10 soup and half a sandwich consisted of half a piece of turkey! Is there some deli meat shortage I’m unaware of??? I’ll stick to other local delis or Jason’s from now on! Not worth my money when I have to take it to go and add more meat and veggies to the sandwich when I get home.

I am attending a catered event housed at the 110 Callaghan building. We are here from 8 – 5 for the next 3 days. I just got handed a «vegan» breakfast — clearly labeled. It had cheese and eggs. Please look up the definition and plan accordingly. If you cannot provide this option, say so. If you can, identify all the ingredients within the package. That way the consumer will know that there are no animal products contained within. We are usually pretty careful because lots of people don’t know what it entails to provide a vegan meal. That’s fine. But do not label something animal free when it is not.

First time coming here after years of seeing it al over Los Angeles and was not impressed. The pressed panini was mediocre and the tomato soup tastes like smashed tomatoe with sugar. Definitely not worth the price. I will stick to Earl of Sandwiches.

Great café. The customer service was spot on and the food was great. The Truffle Mocha was really good, a nice little treat for the day. I recommend this place to anyone.

We usually visit the corner bakery off of stone oak, but happen to be in about the area for this visit off of Basse. This place is dirty, the floor is filthy, this location smells like sewer. The tables were uncleaned, sticky, and dirty. The booth we sat in had loose benches and a wobbly table. The pastries and the coffee that we had are nother one page story. I do not recommend the corner bakery at the Bathey location.

Simply delish! Great place to grab a quick lunch. The staff is always super friendly and always willing to help/suggest something to eat. Love the little outside patio on a cool day like today.

First time here today. Not overly thrilled, but not terribly disappointed either. Came out of my way to try the breakfast on my way to school. I wanted something healthy and hearty. After browsing the menu for a bit I decided on an egg white«breakfast power flat» with avocado and spinach(vegetarian) & a hot chai… WELP! they couldn’t do either of those 2 things. They didn’t have the chai(cashier said it wasn’t ordered OR didn’t come in) & they couldn’t do egg whites bc of the egg shortage. Both of those things are understandable, but still couldn’t help but be a little disappointed. Got my flat with not much spinach or avocado and TONS of egg. would have preferred half the amount of egg(*ahem* egg white!?) and TWICE the avocado and spinach. Steel cut oatmeal was good and can’t ever complain about Mighty Leaf early grey tea(instead of the chai I wanted that is) Service was very friendly. Clean and tidy dining room. Definitely a good place to hang out and read or study. Large area outside as well. I’ll be back, can’t knock it til you try it twice right? *update* went back up to cashier for a refill on hot water and another team bag and saw a notice regarding the egg shortage and the inability for them to substitute egg whites.

So this is a cute little spot in the quarry that is never to crowded. It’s great if your hungry and don’t want to go to far from where your shopping or working. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is great. But what brings down the whole experience is the food. The food is often bland either overcooked or undercooked. The pancakes are always rubbery and the bacon super greasy. Lunch is equally a hit or miss. The price is pretty high for some sub par food. I only eat here because I don’t drive and this place is close to work. When we get über back however I will be going elsewhere. The food is not worth the price. But if you have no other choice. Cause really other than whole foods their is no other breakfast joint nearby… Then yes come here but don’t expect much from the food. It is nothing like a real corner bakery in a larger city or even like those down town San Antonio. It is a chain so expect some quality issues.

The Pesto is awesome! It’s way bigger then I thought it would be for the Café version. Service is great. The Hibiscus Tea is killer too!

The chicken pomodori panini was delicious! Tender grilled chicken on sourdough bread with all the fixings! The ambiance was cozy and quiet. Very urban, clean and polished. Service could’ve used some improvement in the friendliness but excellent for breakfast or lunch in my opinion.

Unexpectedly excellent. Everything was fresh, delicious and served outside with a smile. Had the spinach avocado panini with a side of oatmeal. Never thought I’d say these words: best oatmeal ever! Fantastic coffees as well.

This place smelled delicious when you walk in. It was very clean and had a great atmosphere. Excellent latte and bagels. Would recommend this place. You can also order online for pickup so you don’t have to wait. My wait was short and I went at 8:15 am.

Whenever we stop in we are greeted(and it’s wonderful to be welcomed back). The staff and especially the manager(I cannot remember his name but I think it starts with an S), and especially the chef, are always very good and kind. The experience is always refreshing and we leave feeling happy. This time we tried new dishes; I had the pesto cavatappi and babe had a steak and cheese sandwich. He enjoyed his food and I liked mine as well, I would definitely get it again. He would absolutely get his again. If you are a hibiscus tea fan, like myself, you have to try their sweet hibiscus tea. Sooo good. The baked goods are decent, but I do not care for the whoopie pies.

Looking for something quick and pleasant before getting a manicure and stumbled upon the corner bakery. So yummy and the service is impeccable! I didn’t think to ask but previous users say they also have military discount! French toast is epic!

I went to this place a few times before I moved away from San Antonio. It was always quick, consistent and pleasant. I love how their seating area is so cozy. It’s a great place to meet up with a friend and catch or even have a business meeting. Which is the reason I ended up here on my visit to San Antonio. I was catching up with a friend but also conducting a little business. I got there early so I could have breakfast and wait for my friend. and business partner. I opted for the Chicken Apple Sausage Power Panini Thin on Whole Grain Harvest Toast. There’s also a type of salsa that comes on the side that was delicious. I also ordered coffee to wash all this down with. It really is a great a breakfast. I was going to be on the go all day and it held me over very nicely until it was time for lunch. If you’re in the Quarry and need a quick breakfast or a place to chat with friends this is definitely a good place.

Been intending to try this place out for a while. Glad I did! Got a panini and soup combo(a chicken pesto sandwich, don’t remember what it’s called, and the chicken tortilla soup, respectively). The food was delish, especially the panini. I also got a cheesecake brownie to go. I’ve had a few bites and it’s AHHHHMAZING! The restaurant is open, but cozy. Good light singer-songwriter jazzy type music playing(Michael Bublé and the like). The staff were also really friendly. I will be back! Also, the menu lists the calorie count for everything. So if you’re like me and keep track of what you put into your body, this is a really helpful thing.
