Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio I-10 Northwest

This particular location is extremely easy to miss amidst all of the road construction blocking the exit to get here. If you’re not familiar with San Antonio like I am, heed my advice and take the off ramp one exit before — or else you’ll find yourself driving about 10 minutes (or more, with heavy traffic) to loop around and try again.
Once you’re done getting frazzled finding this hotel, checking in was a breeze. Front desk reception was very friendly and informative.
King Bed Jacuzzi Suite
+ clean, spacious and comfortable
+ A/​C was not noisy and kept the the room cool
+ complimentary soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner
— free WiFi available, but connection was slow and kept disconnecting
— toilet did not flush well due to low water pressure
— jacuzzi was clean, but due to the low water pressure, it took a very long time to fill
— easily awakened by: slamming doors, hearing people talking in the adjacent room (s), and footsteps above us

Would I stay here again? Sure, why not. But, only if I needed to be in the immediate area and if the price is right.

Awesome experience! I just checked in this hotel with my wife and so far it is a wonderful experience. When I checked in, they advise me that I booked a room with whirlpool tub but I let the front desk know that I especially booked for the jacuzzi room. I made the reservation through my corporate website and the booking came through
. They upgraded my stay without any charges which I acknowledged the front desk that I would be happy to pay the extra if there was any error made during reservation. The front desk is super nice and very comfortable to deal with. The room is great and so far I am pretty much happy with everything. This hotel is a little out of the way from Sea World, but my first experience in SA was made awesome with my stay here. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for great service and awesome stay!

Overall a 3.5 star hotel.
My cons are:
Very loud AC room units, and they cool very slowly
Stained carpets everywhere
Not enough electrical outlets for my 3 gadgets (laptope, 2 cellphones)
Slow WiFi internet connection
Poor shade for cars in parking area

Very very pleased with this hotel. We were visiting SA for a memorial for a dear friend of ours. The family had asked us to stay with them the last two night we were in town. The company we booked the trip with was willing to give us our money back if the manager agreed. We didn’t have to explain anything and she was more then willing to let us go and refund our money. After finding out while we were there she was even more willing to refund us! Also the breakfast is great! The room was great as well. It’s a little out of the way from everything but we enjoyed out stay. The staff was very friendly, greeting us every time we came in and out! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
