For over 2 years I have been going here to do my laundry. There are plenty of machines to use and you kind of just have to hope you are going at a good time when it’s not too crowded. The people that come here seem pretty normal for the most part. In 2 years or so I have only had problems with machines and 2 or 3 times. It’s probably the best place around.

Might want to add more heat to your dryers. What usually takes 40 min took almost 2 hours just to dry, after I had to play roulette with 3 dryers to find one that had any heat.

Same experience with the dryers. Sometimes they work… sometimes they don’t. I like that I don’t have to worry about people messing with my stuff but the convenience of being able to drop your stuff off is cancelled out by the fact that you have to wait around to see if the dryer will actually dry your clothes. Sometimes, the dryers won’t start at all and you have to move your stuff to another one that does work. The change machines don’t like old bills and they also don’t like new bills. Its a major pain in the ass. Last time the change machine took my $ 5 bill and then went out of service. I left a message very slowly and clearly as stated on the answering machine(which I could hear ringing in the empty office from my cell phone) and the call has never been returned. It would be nice if the manager actually returned calls and spent the money to have its machines updated every now and then.

A year and a half. That’s how long our relationship was. Ocean Breeze had me at being able to walk to the ocean a block away while she did my laundry. You’re thinking, «sounds perfect, what happened?» She got dirty, inefficient, and she turned cold. In other words, every time you use the dryers you have to put in a trial quarter, wait approximately 5 minutes to see if its actually hot enough to dry anything, and if not more them to another dry and hope that one has enough heat. Her cleanliness was impressive when I started but personal hygiene has gone out the window. I loved her but sometimes ya just gotta leave.

Sometimes i come here to get away from my GF the best part is she thinks i’m doing a chore but really i just put in the laundry and go for a walk to the cliffs while i’m waiting :-) No drama here with parking, kids, laundry stealers, or bums. The change machine accepts all bills, and there are snack machines. I love the window… that you can load your laundry through right from the parking lot, and a super cool mural. Minus one star surprisingly have not yet met any hot chicks here but i will keep my eyes peeled @_@ and no TV with Spanish drama but not needed anyway

This is my spot for airing(after washing) out my dirty laundry– Hey you gotta do it sometime, right? It’s right next to Sunset Cliffs, so you can take a walk when you’re waiting for your stuff to wash/dry. No arcade games or TV like the one down the block on Cable and Newport, but you can see the water through the courtyard of the hotel across the way, which is way better to stare at when you’re folding, in my opinion. There’s also a basketball court next door, so you’ve got a bunch of options for killing time while you take care of one of the more mundane weekly tasks. Oh! I also found a bunch of weed on top of a dryer one time, so you might get lucky…

I do my laundary here and the nicest thing about it is that you don’t have to worry about people stealiing your stuff if you leave it. Pop in… pop out. –1 star because the dryers may/may not eat your quarters.
