My husband loves Round Table Pizza, although we don’t get the chance to come here often. We were here recently for our son’s baseball banquet. It was a busy night, but there was plenty of room to accommodate everyone. Their all you can eat buffet is a real timesaver and includes a small salad bar and cinnamon twists, which my kids absolutely love. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review for a well known national chain, but I really wanted to give five stars to Stef. We were here earlier this week for a family lunch and she made our visit such a pleasure. She’s an outstanding employee who deserves recognition for her hard work and friendly smile. During the time we were at the restaurant we saw her cashier, bring out pizzas and breadsticks to the buffet, bring out clean plates, bus tables, restock the salad bar and she did this all with purpose. She even made a point to let my kids know that the cinnamon twists were ready so that they wouldn’t miss out on them. Thanks Stef!

I really wanted to love this place. The service is fast and friendly. The food is nothing impressive. We had the boneless buffalo wings which I thought tasted too tangy and the pepperoni pizza which was not that great. It was thin and there was hardly any crust. It was pricey too for below average food. It’s a good place for kids since they have games and gum ball machines. I would not return unless I had to.

Last time we go there. Got the buffet and was assured meat pizzas would be prepared. Not. 20 minutes later asked again and finally one was brought out 10 minutes later. Of course, you have to stand there at the pizza buffet in order to be first in line so you can’t sit down and eat your salad. Nobody would eat the pineapple pizza so the employee just threw it away and brought another one. There were no plates and we watched the employee walk by about 5 times and just ignore it. A customer finally had to ask for a plate. The tables weren’t cleaned and we had to sit in the game room. Like I said, never again.

Ordered a single two topping large pizza. Was subsequently charged over twenty six dollars. Pizza crust was burnt and hard as a rock. There is better values to be had in the pizza world. I can’t help but feel ripped off.

Every day at lunch time and every Tues evening, RT has a buffet. They will even take suggestions for your favorite pizza and it’s out of the oven in minutes. The salad and sides are fresh and the baked twisted garlic buttered bread sticks are so good. A great deal, all the soda, salad, bread sticks, pizza(all kinds) and gooey cinnamon glazed sticks you can eat for $ 10.78. What a great deal!

This is the friendliest Round Table I’ve ever been to. The managers and cashiers were very helpful with my needs and I couldn’t have been happier with my visit. Definitely going back

We have used them off and on for many years back to the days our sons used to be in Pop Warner and go their after games. We like the Owner at the time. Their Pizza always the best as far and taste and toppings. the only drawback is you will pay a higher price. but in the Rancho Bernardo Area, I think it is the best for home delivery. At least you get topping you paid for, not just one or two pieces of sausage.

I haven’t been here in over a month, my kids are picky eaters but this is a great place where each one in the family can get what they want, the tomato sauce on the pizza it’s just great.

Pizza was pretty Creasy today. Very loud but there was a soccer group in here. Salad bar was good, boneless wings were not very good, taste like they used low quality chicken.

I ordered one of the listed specials online using my credit card. When I got the receipt in my email(after picking up the food), it had charged me the non-sale price. It took a phone call and a personal visit and three days to get my balance refunded. Pizza special was hardly worth the indigestion. In my experience, under circumstances like this, a business goes overboard to make it right, but the owner was pretty indifferent.

Round Table makes the best pizza in RB. I love their tomato sauce and the extensive choice of toppings. Great selection of beer including Ballast Point and Stone. Staff is friendly and helpful. My son and I love to play pinball and other arcade games.

I’ve always been a fan of round table. We came for the lunch buffet on this particular visit and it didn’t disappoint. If I had to pick on one thing, I would say that the buffet pizzas were undercooked. The crust was still doughy and it could have used a few more minutes to crisp up. But the spicy toppings shined through as always. Yum.

First I really hope that someone from round table management reads this because I am going to write a letter to their corporate offices as well. The customer service here is terrible! My husband and I came into this pizza shop and I asked to used the restroom before I could think of doing anything else. I am six months pregnant and that is all that I could think of first. It is also obvious that I am pregnant at this point so most people are a little sympathetic with me . I was rudely stopped by some younger woman who remarked that restrooms were for paying customers so we needed to leave. Needless to say she never even gave me the benefit of the doubt to order. I wanted to respond that we were customers but I decided I would rather not spend my money somewhere where I wasn’t welcome. I will never be going back to this round table or any other round table establishment. I don’t like being treated like I have committed social injustice, judged and questioned as a guest. Oh and asked to leave. I mean I know this isn’t a top notch pizza joint but come on in order to run a successful business model customer service has got to be a top priority. Do yourself a favor and follow the customer service model of Chick Fil A. Even though they are a fast resterunt they go above and beyond to provide a high class experienceZ that’s due to the people and attitudes they have.

I hate buffet and I don’t especially don’t like pizza buffet. The only reason I go is because of my two little boys. But this place got their stuff together, waiter are very friendly, food are kept fresh and everything seem to be very clean and organized. Not bad for a family place to take your kids

Disliked the buffet so much I actually had to come on here to write a review. Price is not bad but there is not a wide selection at all. Salad choices are pretty basic and just ok. Pizza did not look not taste fresh either.

The food amazing! I love the food. What i dont love is that it fuckin feels like chuckee cheese or a fuckin day care! Every time i eat here there are ALWAYS screaming children with some kind of unattentive parent. Also while good, the food takes FOREVER! I get half hr lunch breaks the last thing i need is to get my food 5 min before my break is over AND have a random child screaming at my table while the patents table is 4 tables over!

Came for the buffett. Ice machine out of order. Soda machine had no carbonation. 2 new pizzas in the 30 minutes I was there with 15 people eating the buffett. Pepperoni pizza came out and was gone before I could even get a slice. My recommendation would be to do less specialty pizzas that just sit there and more of the good old standards. And you have to have your soda machine working properly or dont charge me $ 3 for horrible soda.

My girlfriend’s family called in an order to this store for us to pick up. Upon arrival, my girlfriend waited in an unnecessarily slow line only to learn that there was no order in their system for us to pick up. After a little sleuthing(calling other stores in the area) we went back to discover that the order had actually been received + the pizzas were 20-minutes cooler on the back counter. Upon our return, we had a rough time with the employee behind the counter, who claimed to be the business owner, complaining that our order wasn’t in his system. The end result was two luke-warm pizzas, a nearly forgotten 2-liter bottle of Pepsi, + not even a single word of apology. Unbeknownst to us, everyone around was converging on Round Table Pizzas all over town for a big fundraiser evening. This obviously played into our experience, but it was the attitude of the staff that put us off going to this store in the future. Patrons beware.

I weighed very carefully whether I would give Round Table Pizza 3 or 4 stars. My husband always wants to go there, but for whatever reason I have this conception in my mind that it’s pricey. Well, it actually is somewhat pricey depending on what you get(for example, if you want to get any beer). My husband and I got a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, one all-you-can-eat salad bar, and a pitcher of Sculpin for $ 50. That’s pretty expensive for a pizza place, but actually that’s pretty average when you break it down. The pizza price was comparable to delivery pizza. The salad bar(AYCE) was less than $ 6. The pitcher is overpriced only when you compare it to Wings N Things(where a pint of Sculpin is somehow just over $ 3 — seriously, how do they do it?!). Otherwise, the pitcher price is comparable to other places. Price aside, the pizza actually does taste really good. I had forgotten why I frequented the UCSD location often when I was a student there. What I really like about their pizza is that the pizza crust is crunchy(but not dry) underneath, and it doesn’t fall apart in your hands when you eat it. The only downside of the meal was that the salad bar didn’t have hard-boiled eggs, which I feel is a necessity at salad bars, but oh well. They also had some games available to play for free(Connect Four, Simon, and a few others). They have their small arcade section, too, with air hockey, some pinball machines, and a couple other games. It’s also a good place to go if you want to watch a game because they have quite a few flat screen TVs, which might be relatively new because I don’t remember them having that many the last time I was there.
