Not too far of a walk from my office, about a 5 minute walk(one way). I’ve been here once and I plan on returning ! The banh mi is good. I ordered the chicken teriyaki banh mi. However, their selection is pretty limited. They do have a banh mi w/imitation meat for those that are vegetarian or vegan.

Never been here before but I saw they had Vietnamese sandwiches. The lady behind the counter is very friendly. I had the pork sandwich. The meat was moist and the vegetable garnish was very tasty combined with a crunchy baguette it was a very nice lunch.

I ate a very tasty banh mi sandwich in this unassuming restaurant with what seemed like regulars coming in and out while I read my book. It seemed like a laid-back environment — I was able to bring my bike inside, and the lady behind the counter had a delightfully positive attitude. If I’m in that part of town again looking for a sammy I will most definitely be back.

Yum! Yum! Yum! We’ve been living in the neighborhood for over a year and have always said we wanted to check this place out. It’s a tiny hole in the wall with fabulous food and wonderful service. The breakfast is fresh, quality and home made good cooking. The breakfast sandwiches are made on croissants that the shop makes fresh. We had a donut too that was out of this world. All in all really fun and delicious place! Everybody should try it!

Don’t ever come here! They are nit-pickers and make no accommodations for employees of the Fillmore.

Not quite sure why this place poses as a doughnut shop. It is a dark horse in the neighborhood for a great bahn mi. Tangy house pickled veggies, fresh chiles, a variety of meats, and a pâté that pretty much kicks ass, all on a crusty baguette with a sweet oyster sauce. These sandwiches hit every taste bud in true southeast Asian style, and at a price that even I can afford. I find myself returning to this little place again and again.

Happy to find this place. A delicious cheap food alternative to Fillmore st. The lady behind the counter is very sweet and makes delicious banh mi. A great find! Minus a star for no wifi and no outdoor seating.

A local café/croissant/donut place, that also has Vietnamese sandwiches which I am going to go back for. I’ve had donuts and a bacon-egg-cheese croissant breakfast sandwich(yum). What makes this a 4 star place is the service. Everybody there was all«Good morning how are you what can we get you no problem sorry to keep you waiting» with smiles.

I live close, so coming here is an easy breakfast/lunch option for me. The lady behind the counter is super sweet, and she always remembers my orders. It’s gotten to a point where I just ask for«the usual» and she knows exactly what I want. I’m not a huge fan of coffee, but she makes great mochas, not to sweet or bitter. She makes delicious sandwiches too!

This place has awesome bun mee(vietnamese) sandwiches! Get the roast pork! The lady that works there is very nice and will sometimes sneak some donut holes in for free!

Standard donut place. The pics on Unilocal didn’t actually help much… I was looking for corned beef hash but it was nowhere on the menu. Maybe it was just hiding? In any case, the donuts were quite a bit larger than the average donut, which was nice. In terms of taste, it’s…a donut. If you are craving a donut and you’re in the area, then… here you go. A donut. Nothing out of this world, not bad, not good, but a donut’s a donut, right? Maybe I should’ve just tried the croissants. Ah well. May or may not return depending on if I’m in the neighborhood, but there’s no need to make a ruckus out of it.

I was in Japantown and had to park hella far to get my staples at Nijiya. This leads to my encounter at Les Croissants Café, where I parked literally right in front. Two choco-donuts satisfied a sweet craving, but nothing particularly special… So I guess if j need to get donuts and I’m in Japantown, I’ll stop by here. Aigooooo. Oh yeah, they also have banh mi’s here as well. Aigooooo.

Last time I was here, this place served great breakfast. I had some of the best grits I’ve ever had along with perfectly cooked soft-scrambled eggs and Louisiana sausage. Sadly, they no longer serve breakfast and have converted to just donuts, pastries and some Vietnamese dishes(Banh Mi sandwiches). Seems like some of the staff has changed also and the regular cook is gone. So disappointed…

Ugh i wish i trusted the Unilocalers and didnt come here this morning. Such bad customer service! I ordered a egg and cheese croissant and went to fill my tea. Not knowing that the customer behind me ordered a plain croissant. Naturally i turned around and took his plain croissant, took a bite, only to realize its not mine. I went and explained to the cashier, and she insisted that she cant exchange a new one for the other customer! I ended up buying a new one for that customer but this experience ruined my morning. I will never come back here again. UPDATE: now i am eating my egg and cheese, i regret more. The croissant is chewy and taste and its 3 days old! WTF! The egg and cheese is meh. My breakfast is officially ruined. I shouldnt have cheated on my routine protein drink :(

Anytime I see croissant in the name of a restaurant, I come a runnin’! This particular time it led me to an incredible café that offers much more than tasty croissants… though they certainly offer plenty of those! This place is breakfast heaven; croissants, doughnuts, breakfast entrees, killer omelets, bagels, expressos and coffee, etc. etc. If you’re like me and drawn in by the name with a mouth watering for a tasty croissant I have to recommend the ham and cheese croissant sandwich. A warm, freshly made masterpiece of a sandwich on a buttery, crisp croissant with delicious ham and melted cheese that starts any day off right. or is an amazing bite to eat whenever they’re open! If you’re in the area and craving tasty breakfast food, swing by Les Croissants Café and stretch that dollar stuffing your face.

Les Crossants Café sells everything but froyo/ice cream: –banh mi, bages, donuts, crossaints, expressos, crossaint sammies. coffee: «american’s best», passed eats: glazed donuts and maple old fashioned(.95) –glaze was melt in ur mouth, old fashioned pretty good. –not much selection in donuts. sold out? 4 stars crumbs: –not sure of rest of offerings –can’t believe they make everything themself –very friendly, fast service with a smile.

I went back here only because I saw a Bunn Mi sign right front of the store. I thought the owner has been changed. I made a big mistake again. It smells like you are in a peep show. Do you know WTF peep show is? It’s a small little room private adult movie theatre that you have to pay to get in. It used to be one on Geary Blvd between Pork and Vanness. I think it was 25 cents for a few minutes, about 30 years ago. There was a Pussycat theatre on Market Street and 6th Street, 5 bucks for 2 movies. Let’s not get into too much info for WTF was inside of peep show, shall we? But I am talking about that the smell inside of peep show, in general speaking. It smells pine sol. But they, I mean who happen to be working at peep show, they have to clean up very often, that makes the whole store smells pine sol. It is very annoying smell. It’s very strong smell that you don’t even feel like watching porn. If you don’t like feeling watching porn, would you fell like eating something? Am I been too ridiculously to concern about the feeling? Well, it shuts my appetite down, because It still makes me remember a incident that my friends took me to the peep show on Geary about 30 years ago. But I could not do it because the smell. The friends went in there, so I had to wait out side until they finished. Finished what? Let’s not get into too much detail, shall we? The Bunn-mi was under-average. The baguette was too hard. But the peep show-pine sol-smell killed me. Also, it took her about 10 minutes to make 1 bunn-mi, while i was waiting, i just looked around thinking something to away from the smell, there were many old looking donuts and there were old looking already made turkey sandwich that the color of the turkey was gray. And I saw already made egg-salad sandwich right next to it. I don’t think the glass-case was refrigerate. Walgreen’s ready made sandwich looks better than this. I don’t know. A real dumpy place, is making a jackass«KaKa» bunn-mi and smells. I made a big mistake and waste money, period.

Ham and cheese croissant sandwich. Very nicely done, the egg was not overcooked and had a little runniness to it. Ham was luncheon meat and american cheese. Not gourmet, but okay. The coffee was a typical diner brand, not worth the price. Next time, I will have a full breakfast.
