I arrived a little before noon. There was one person in line and 5 workers behind the bar. The cashier was milling around, not taking the order of the person ahead of me. The line grows behind me and the guy behind me angrily tells the cashier to do his job. 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Ridiculous.

Just Awful… I ordered talk cappuccino and oatmeal with steamed milk. When I got both fairly quickly, I was surprised with the quantity. The oatmeal barely had milk in it which was the driest I got from anywhere! And cappuccino was half filled! Half! Not even ¾ filled! I will never come back to this place…

If you’re at this Starbucks when Zo11 coffee is just up Fillimore street, leave & go there instead for actual good coffee

This Starbucks location is ridiculous. I ordered a caramel macchiato. We watched the barista(tall African American with long dreadlocks) and this is what happened: He filled coffee into my cup, turns the cup with his fingers, looked at it and puts it side. He begins to steam some milk. After that, he picks up my cup again, turns the cup with his fingers, looked at it and puts the cup and steam milk aside and started making two Frappuccinos that was ordered after me. He then goes back to my drink, picks up my cup and looked at it again turning my cup with his fingers. Sets the cup aside again! Poor out the cold steam milk. Steamed another cup of milk. I’m thinking«Okay, he’s going to finally make my drink now.» He picks up my cup again, looks at it, puts it down and then set the cup and steam milk aside again!!! He looks around to begin making another cold drink! He repeated those steps 3 times. Are you serious!!! I’m starting to believe he does not know how to make my drink. After 4 people ahead of me got their drinks, I’ve finally had it. I went up to him and asked why is he taking so long with my order. He didn’t look at me but said«I’m making it right now.» In 2 min he finally made my drink and it tasted almost like milk only… I’m going to be very honest, Starbucks coffee is not cheap. I pay this amount of money and I expect good quality coffee and well trained baristas. Please make sure your staffs are trained properly before assigning them to their jobs.

It seems funny to leave a review for Starbucks, I mean. is a 1 or 5 star review really gonna deter anyone seeking a caffeine fix? But as an avid Starbucks drinker, it’s nice when a location that you frequent delivers consistent and friendly service. I have to kinda laugh at some of the negative reviews — «they close too early!» «long lines on saturday!» «they were busy and ran out of coffee». Wait, oh my god, what??? Starbucks is busy on Saturday mornings? Get the f**k out! And they close at the times posted on their door? You mean I can’t have it my way all the time? So rude of them to operate during business hours that obviously best suit their business needs. And they don’t run out of coffee… you’d think people get that coffee has to be brewed, so on occasion you catch them in between batches, and have to wait 2 – 3 minutes for it. How dare they offer you an Americano if you don’t have time to wait… what evil bastards. We all love the idea of the super-fast instant service Starbucks often offers, but take a breath, try to remember that this is a café. Sometimes café’s need a minute to make what you order. I digress… The baristas are always friendly and efficient. They have my name and drink memorized, so can’t beat that. They’re always cleaning, mopping, etc which I appreciate — the store is always spotless so I can trust the machines and all behind the counter are just as tidy. One time, too, I totally spilled my entire large iced coffee and before I could even react, one of the team members was there with a rag to wipe down the table, and the team behind the bar was already re-making it for me. I didn’t even have to awkwardly ask. Today I even missed using my birthday reward by a couple of days, but Keana took care of me, wishing me a happy birthday and offering the drink on the house. That’s awesome service right there!

I came in a little after 11:00 am today and it wasn’t super busy. It was a very short wait so the time spent here is worth it. The cashier who took my order and the barista were friendly. Some of the baristas are actually very nice. Venti Vanilla Iced Latte is a very good beverage when in need of a quick refreshment. I like how they put in the right shots of vanilla, it’s not too bland nor is it too sweet. This is another nice to visit for something to munch and sip on especially while waiting for the bus. Overall, good experience here. Here some reasons for my rating: — Friendly staff(+1) — Good service(+1) — Clean facility(+1) — Seats available(+0.5) — Free Wi-Fi(+0.5)

Not enough people working to handle a Saturday morning rush. There was only one steady person at a station who was trying to keep it together and moving. He actually was handling the order and flow quite well despite the other two people who at times seemed confused. I ordered an iced coffee with light ice, did not ask for sweetened. I received an over iced and sweetened drink. It wasn’t worth the hassle of asking it to be fixed, we had already been there too long for non specialty drinks.

Are you sure they close at 730?! Its 740 and I swear I got my drink maybe 10 minutes ago max. Kalea was working and I’m OBSESSED. Clearly she wasn’t working during the other reviewers visits because she’s SO nice and friendly and is a complete joy to have as your barista. Thanks!

The funny thing is, we didn’t order anything besides a canned Starbucks refresher at 7:15 at night. We just wanted to use the bathroom lol. Although the cashier was really nice and said we didn’t have to. I felt obligated to buy something anyway! 4 stars because we really appreciated their generosity. So many SF places are stingy about people using their bathrooms. Not to mention this place is an inexpensive way to get an unintentional caffeine fix. Lol.

Sad day at Starbucks today… not that I wont continue to go, but for some reason one of the employees was openly upset about the Farmer’s Market and wished they shut it down… She was basically complaining about how busy it was and she was tired. Kind of like letting 1 bad apple spoil the bunch… The coffee was quick, fulfilling and put a spring in my step, but this employee just kind of ruined the experience. Since they remodeled this location, the store looks much nicer. And considering the neighborhood that you are in, and how many people come out for the events, maybe a bit of gratitude will go along way. And I’m sure Charles Shultz would love to check out the farmers market next time he’s in town!

Brandy– a good fellow who works at this location was a refreshing breath of air at the early morning hour as I walked in. I asked for a hot Tea with a ginger base and that selection is not available at Starbucks– but what makes him so great is that he was positioned behind the cashier who was taking my order. He politely added the Tea’s that they do have and he described them in an interesting way. I ended up walking away with a Tea I have never tried before and my morning is pleasant! I hope I got his name right. If I were the owner of this location I would have all employees to approach each customer with listening ears such as this experience. Service is the key.

Had to cancel my order after a touch of rudeness from the barista there at 4.45p today(15 November) –photo attached. The acoustics are pretty poor in here, especially since they remodeled. Had to repeat almost everything I ordered twice. not a serious big deal. But then to have to put up with a misery, off-putting attitude of the barista(interrupting her chat with a friend to inform her that there were two drinks rather than the one she called me up to the counter to collect, and being told with a humbug face that then I’ll just have to wait for the second one), was too much for me(especially since I was carrying a heavy load of groceries). The cashier refunded my money, I was able to retrieve the$ 1+ tip I’d left. What is appreciated is how swift the cashier was: no hassle, no forced our condescending smile; just a genuine-sounding apology. I hope the barista will be gently but firmly reminded of just how far good customer service can go, even when dealing with tetchy customers; and how damaging poor customer service can be to an establishment. This is just a learning moment. I normally would give this particular Starbucks a 4… but not to-day.

i live nearby and had given this place a number of chance from time to time but I found myself enjoying the nearby Safeway Starbucks kiosk better, most of the time. The staff needs better training — inefficient and apparently confused consistently. If you are curious, stop by and you will know why.

An average Starbucks based on our visit earlier this week. My experience consisted of a friendly barista, accurate beverages, and a clean and well organized interior. Like so many others we ordered a warm cup of coffee so we could stand in the windy San Francisco weather and try for a chance at dining at State Bird Provisions down the street(that’s another review). This location gave me the liquid warmth I needed to withstand the winds and endure the wait.

When I review a chain restaurant, I am not reviewing Starbucks versus Peet’s versus indie coffee shop. I am comparing this Starbucks to other Starbucks locations. Okay, now that we have that out of the way… This Starbucks is pretty near the bottom of the barrel. Why? Service is incredibly slow(consistently). They often mess up my order. There always seems to be a lot of employees standing around not accomplishing anything, while there is a huge line waiting. I have waited more than 10 minutes nearly every time I have been there. On a positive note this place is usually fairly clean.
