The barista Anthony was extremely rude to me. Poor customer service to say the least. Very disappointed. Will be getting my coffee elsewhere while I do my banking from now on.

I never had such horrible service at any Starbucks before. First off, I didn’t come in expecting people to be nice, but I don’t need to be felt like shit. It was not busy or anything, so there’s really no excuse. Anthony was the one who took my order and I almost just wanted to walk out. Okay, maybe he was having a bad day but why do I deserve to be treated the way I did. I ordered a frapp and he asked if that was all with attitude or maybe I took it the wrong way. Okay fine whatever. Then, I went to scan my card but he didn’t tell me I was on the wrong scanner til waaaay later. I still felt like he was being mehh, but whatever I was the stupid one. Lastly, I wanted to refill my card since I didn’t have enough, but I felt like he was giving me a hard time since he said I should’ve reloaded before ordering. I get why, but I never had that problem ever. I felt like today was a bad day and maybe I’ll just go to another location from now on. Also, a costumer asked to have milk added in their drink and Anthony responded ok… What kind of milk, I just think he could’ve handled the situation better. If I was in their shoes, I would’ve felt like I should’ve never asked for milk or something. Shoooot, if I knew I was going to feel shitty trying to add money on my card then I would’ve not even done it! So much for being a gold member… I just felt like I’ve never had this type of interaction with a Starbucks worker before. In result, not only am I going to try to avoid this location but it makes me think twice about maintaining my gold level. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy Starbucks every now and then but not with that badtitude.

This Starbucks is located inside of a bank. They didn’t have change for a $ 100 bill and told me they could give me change on a gift card or I could stand in line at the bank teller line to break the bill. Really unprofessional and I think they forgot who is paying who here.

Just another Starbucks. What else can I really say? Because it’s one of the locations that shares space with Wells Fargo Bank(with whom I do bank with), I will admit that sometimes it is convenient and so some stars are earned. However, there’s not so much about this particular Starbucks location that strives for the top with respect to product and service. If you ask for a latte and don’t demand less«foam» then you’ll be paying almost $ 4 for half foam and half beverage of choice. I will disclaim that I am not one of the many Starbucks-a-holics that are die hard fans and absolutely loyal to the brand. So take this review with a grain of salt. I have no problem paying $ 4 for a coffee-drink, but it comes with certain expectations(café atmosphere, drink-ware, local vs. corporate). These are just personal standards, though. Happy caffeine-hunting.

I love this location. They are fast and they got it together. They are always nice to me and makes it pleasant to visit this location. I almost always order the same thing. It’s my favorite Starbucks besides the one in the financial district on Sansome.

Welcome to your friendly neighborhood Starbucks in the Richmond District! Living nearby, this is my go-to spot for coffee to survive my 12 hour shifts. I come here so much that the baristas know what I like and my tall iced caramel macchiato is done quick & easy. Pay with your Starbucks card on your phone and every 12 drinks, you’ll get a free one! Parking is not bad. If you can’t find parking in front, there’s almost always parking in the lot between Geary and Anza. Enter through 18th Ave, but beware, parking is not free until midnight there. One quarter should get you in and out with a nice cup of caffeine.

A fine Starbucks. Shares an area with a bank, so the entrance is a little obscure. They have a limited seating area setup and it was a very open feel.

I go here regularly but probably not any more after receiving poor service. I forgot to ask for a water cup which is my mistake, but I didn’t expect to be told to wait in a long line again. I understand that it’s a beverage as the associate pointed out, and should have been ordered but it is just a cup of water

I don’t know what’s going on here. Six employees on the floor but yet it took 15 minutes to get a bagel. Usually when you finish a transaction you should have what I ordered. They didn’t and told me after I was rung up. The wait for a different bagel was just exhausting. I could see other customers getting annoyed as well. This isn’t the first time this has happened, waiting this long at this location. It’s no wonder this Starbucks has a three star average on Unilocal.I think that’s pretty generous honestly.

Nasty manager at Starbucks on Geary and 19th Ave. I was stopping by to wait for a friend inside this Starbucks. The manager who is about 5’5″, skinny built, white with dark hair, glasses, came by and told me they are closing and she emphasized ‘in a minute’. I looked at the time; it was only 8:53pm. And I knew this Starbucks close at 9pm because I am a regular customer too. She just want to kick me out. After I walked out and waited for my friend outside. I saw a customer walked in and of course this manager served the customer and did the transaction. SHAME on her to treat the neighborhood customer like this!!! SHAME on Starbucks to have such unfriendly manager/staff!!! I’ll go to peet’s or another Starbucks from now on instead.

I was expecting better customer service from this store but as soon as I walked up I had to wait for the cashier to finish her conversation about ice cream with her coworker before I could place an order like HELLLLLLLOOOO?! I’m standing in front of you trying to give you my money. I thought it was rude. My salted caramel mocha tasted weird too.

I often lament the state of humanity. Some Starbucks baristas are as dumb as dumb can be. Maybe I shouldn’t expect a young person in San Francisco to necessarily understand much about information technology. Granted I did not follow the instructions on my phone screen to tell the barista that I had a reward. After I scanned the QR code three times(the first time I learned you have to tell the barista you have a reward, the second time I learned you have to tell the barista it is a birthday reward — even though the instructions didn’t say that — or the system will think it has already expired), I said to the barista that you would think Starbucks would just have the info coded into the QR code. He said it was. After going back and forth another time, I gave up trying to explain it to him. A year or two ago, I discovered that if in the middle of the night you try to find out what time a Starbucks store will open that morning(such as at 1 am trying to find out if it will open at 6 am), the company website will not have that info. It only had hours for the other six days of the week. With over 21,000 stores(and how many employees?), you would think someone would have noticed that and had it fixed.

This is the one Starbucks I can always count on to mess up the simplest orders. I don’t understand. The worst part is you can see the same guy mess up repeatedly and carry on with a dgaf attitude.

Starbucks is certainly consistent; that is, consistently mediocre. If you like your latte thin and milky, with very little foam or flavor, this is your place. I don’t want to sound like a espresso snob, but a good latte has a light coffee aroma and taste, and foam incorporated into the drink. If you go to Peet’s, they make sure their lattes are thick and creamy; Starbucks isn’t even in the same league. This particular Starbucks is a victim of its own success. The place is moderately full even on weekdays, but the school crowd fills the shop around three. Look elsewhere if you want a relaxing time with friends.

Rude. Plain and simple. I can only assume the shift supervisor was working the machines. Im a gold card member asking for a refill and he interjects rudely to contradict my experiences. Final straw. Ive also heard them dehumanize street people they seem objectionable over the times ive come in. Taking my business to Royal Grounds or Peets. Advising family to do the same. I’m sure this review will get hidden, but i had to write it.

If you know the recipe to what you want, they will make it! Venti Vanilla Crème Frap(whole milk) 3 shots of caramel 3 shots of toffee nut whipped cream caramel drizzle All of that equals harry potter’s butterbeer! How cool! Since I’ll probably never make it to the wizarding world of harry potter, this is the closest I’ll be able to get! It wasn’t crazy too $$$, I think it was around $ 5.05? Something in that range. Tasted very milky and caramel-y, kind of like sweet vanilla milk.

In general, I am a big fan of Starbucks. However at this particular location, with the staff who was there at 4 p.m. on Sunday June 8th2014, I am giving this a 1 star(zero stars would be more appropriate if possible). Before getting in line to get our drinks, we tried to use the bathrooms. There was no toilet paper nor towels in the Men’s and Women’s bathrooms and both were were dirty. When we called attention to this fact to the staff at Starbucks, we were told it’s not their problem, since this Starbucks is inside of a bank lobby, and the bank was closed. But it is the designated bathroom for the Starbucks customers. So it really is a Starbucks problem. After we brought it to his attention and suggested to him that it really should be Starbucks problem to make sure the bathroom is clean and stocked with toilet paper for their customers, he ordered us to leave the establishment. He said he doesn’t have to wait on people who who have an «attitude problem». Because he felt that since we suggested they need to take care of the restroom, we have an attitude not worthy of being their customer. I give a strong warning to anyone who wants to patronize this Starbucks location. I feel that if they don’t have sanitary bathrooms, then their employees may not be following proper after restroom sanitation, as required by law.

This place can be packed to the brim during after school hours but the workers here manage to keep up with the demand. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to sit around 3−5pm, tough luck because those hours are Starbucks’ Frap. Happy Hour. It can get quite loud on here with all the energy high schoolers can put out. Maybe it was just today because it doesn’t always happen. Anyway, This place is a solid place to grab a coffee and relax around the Richmond area.

The same old prototypical menu that has yet to change in quality with the times but still have the non existent gonads to raise their prices. The only reason that they seem to have businesses is because of convenience and rather than anything else. Even their hot chocolate has a grainy and dry throat after taste. And that’s probably the third most simplest drink on their menu. Which makes you wonder about the rest of the menu.(–2) As soon as they bought out LA boulange and I heard rumors of them possibly taking over teavanna, I figured they were too lazy to upgrade their own quality instead of choosing to become a corporate parasite off others. You can tell or even just see that the quality of pastries and drinks have sunk far below the shipwrecks of pearl harbor…(–1) 75 $ for a inferior quality tumbler than I can find better at Home goods, Daiso or Chinatown… Jesus you guys are desperate.(–1) Recommendation: Coffee– Peets, philz coffee(much more reasonable $) Pastries– Coophenhagen in Burlingame

Super weird set up! It’s half Well’s Fargo and half Starbucks. Is it having an identity crisis? Guess if I’m waiting to talk to a banker, I can chill and get a coffee?! Okay seriously, this is the closest Starbucks to my house, so I sometimes drop by to grab a coffee while running errands. This of course means I normally go late morning on Saturday or Sunday, so it’s always super busy! I’ve never been in and out in less than 5 mins which is kinda annoying when I can be in and out of a Starbucks downtown before work in that amount of time. If they were faster, I probably would have given them 4 stars, but maybe I just go during their rushes?
