Dale Rowland, MD

Dr. Rowland is the best. We were fortunate to find him 29 years ago after some not-​so-​great experiences with another pediatrician (who has since retired.) We were young parents with our first child and Dr. Rowland was a breath of fresh air. He is super knowledgeable with a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor. He truly cares about his patients and their families.
After we left the SLO area for several years we were not able to find any pediatrician that could measure up to Dr. Rowland. We’re glad to be back and happy he is our pediatrician again. When one of our children was recently diagnosed with strep throat, Dr. Rowland was proactive in tested my other child (even though he didn’t have an appointment) and the test also came back positive. We appreciate this holistic approach — thinking about the bigger picture — which saves us time, money and spares unnecessary suffering. In addition to being a fantastic doctor, he is gentle, funny and just an all-​around nice guy.

By far the best pediatrician ever!!! I searched & searched for months, asking fellow Moms of all ages who I should list as my son’s ped, and it was a unanimous decision. Dale has always treated me & my boys with such a friendly, pleasant demeanor that I look forward to doctor visits. He answers all of my questions and I never feel as though I’m being overly cautious or paranoid. I will miss him and his staff greatly once we leave to TX. I have been to both the North county office in Templeton & the SLO office. The SLO office is usually VERY busy and hectic, but they get you in & out efficiently. There are also two seperate waiting areas for the kiddos-​healthy & not healhy. The Templeton office is quieter, smaller & a little slower paced but does NOT have a toy area.
We love Dr. Rowland!!!
