Maybe the owner should stop making bad comments to other bath places to make his soap place looks good.

Was on a solo trip at San Luis Obispo and had just started doing yoga on a regular basis. I wanted an oil to calm me down and relax my muscles as I was at that time suffering from a lot of anxiety. I got the exotic spice massage oil and it was AMAZING.
I pour 1 or 2 drops on my pillow evey night before bed and it relaxes me to the core. I also use it on my whole body after a bath.
This shop is really cute and has amazing stuff. Must try!

We love this place, it’s the only place to get synthetic-​free skin and haircare products that are made by hand here fresh for you. Their products that are guaranteed to help acne, eczema, psoriasis, roseacia, and all types of other skin issues like scar tissue, stretch marks, infant eczema, etc. I had eczema pretty bad on my hands with painful cracks and they were gone in a week with their recommended products.

that range from Chocolate Mint Soap to Rosemary Lavender
to all kinds of truly unique combos… but being frugal
as she is… I am the one to usually go all out here… with a
nice gift bag of goodies!
They make everything by hand & from the freshest natural
ingredients…forget the junk they sell in Whole Paycheck
market…HDSC has far better, fresher, much more aromatic,
and is a «mom & pop» kind of place.
They have all kinds of aromatics (& flavors)…
DO NOT WALK IN HERE HUNGRY… or you may take

Despite the fact that I feel that it is a Luxury for me
to get «smelly soap» as a man’s man… whatever that
means…and have preferred strong antibacterial
antiseptic toxic deodorant «soaps’/ bodywashes/​
Shampoos… or even using Dr. Bronner’s ultra-​strong
Pinesol-​like Shampoo’s undiluted… while my skin
almost burns…
Even I sometimes indulges in some of these tasty…
ummm…fragrant goodies…
I am really like the Chocolate combo’s, Rosemary,
Mints, & some others. You do habituate to the smell
of the lip balm after about ten minutes, but since you
only takes a few minutes washing with a soap, the aroma
is there whenever you wash your face.
As for this amazing shop… oh…

This is a secret to how someone stays married

Back to the shop.
The service here is always outstanding & is generally
worlds apart from many of the other shops here. This
more of a «secret» locals shop… but we do let tourists in
…just kinding :)
They do an amazing job of getting the perfect gift bag
of various goodies (see my pics) put together & then
wrap it very nicely.
They have been here for a few years & it is so strange that
they do not have a million 5 star Unilocal reviews…
Have the Unilocal hoards not discovered this place or it is that
they bypass this place for the more glitzy places down the
way.
I really cannot think of a better gift for someone who
has EVERYTHING,

I love this little shop downtown SLO. I have purchased quite a few bars of soap for myself and for friends. They’re very luscious and smell amazing (Cocoa merlot and rose petal honey are two of my favorites)! They feel really nice on the skin and I love that they aren’t filled with chemicals. I’ve also purchased the dog soap for my dog that suffers from allergies and it seemed to really help her irritated skin. The store is very clean and the people that work there are very helpful.

Hearts’s Desire’s deodorants are awesome. Strong enough for those extra stressful days and natural ingredients so you won’t get cancer. It lasts long which is another plus. Trying to convert my friends and family for their own good.

I am in love with the glacier and granite deodorant it really works. The man working there was really nice and helped my mom who has dry hands, he reccommended products for her and they actually worked.

Love this place! I love their chocolate lavender soap. They also gave me a wonderful gentle soap that helped my daughters eczema and it worked!

I went into Heart’s Desire Soap Company looking for a product to help fade eczema scars on my hand, and ended up falling in love with so many of their products. Their soaps smell wonderful and are great for sensitive and irritated skin. The body butters and facial spritzers are wonderful as well. If you have acne or eczema, Heart’s Desire has amazing, healing products to help with your skin issues.

Fun store. Was walking around downtown and yummy smell drew us in. Not only good smelling soap but good for your skin ingredients too. Staff was friendly –greeted you but not too pushy. Free samples and lots of testers. Soap all made on premises which i like. Bought several bars and can’t wait to try them ! Lots of good gift items.
