I came here to avoid the lines at Erma’s and was pleasantly surprised! Services was quick and efficient. They have a wide variety of flavors. Their lemon ice cream and waffle cone was scrumptious.

was really happy with this place until today. waited outside the store for them to open at 2pm which is late as it is for any store. 5 minutes after 2 someone comes up and puts a sign saying they open at 430?! from now on. opening an ice cream parlor at 430 is like opening a breakfast shop at noon. why bother? I’ll be looking elsewhere for ice cream from now on since i don’t generally crave it after the sun goes down.

Good ice cream and custard.(however I think the custard just down the street is a bit better — but when that place is super crowded go here!!) Give it a shot — there are a lot of flavors to choose from. We’ll be trying other flavors when we are back in the area.

Stopped in last night on the way home for dinner. Saw some previous reviews from fellow Unilocalers and decided to check it out. Small little place with a few tables to sit at. Lots of flavors to choose from. We went with the key lime pie and Peanut butter brownie in a cone. Great Ice cream and Fast Friendly service. Will definitely be back again.

This place is amazing! I don’t live in the area, but often travel here with my husband for work. Really a hidden gem. You can have them pack whatever flavor into a pint or quart container and take some home!

Stopped in for dessert after dinner on 11÷8÷13 Oh My Goodness! Quite the selection of flavors! And the young gal, made us 2 very generous sundaes for around $ 4.10 each. I chose Ashbys Peanut Butter Cup & Marvelous Milk-way with Sanders Hot Fudge & The Bride chose Ashbys Cherry Amaretto & Raspberry Cheesecake with chocolate syrup Way to big to finish, got them togo for later.

Best ice cream shop on the east side, hands down. They wisely carry award-winning Alinosi Spumoni ice cream, a longstanding Detroit tradition, which has been featured on the Food Network. Banana Alinosi is my favorite ice cream on the planet, Che Cosa in downtown Mt. Clemens usually has more of an Alinosi selection as does the Chocolate Bar Café in Grosse Pointe Woods on Mack. Ashby’s carries Alinosi’s heavenly candies too — amazing chocolate and chocolate covered goodies. This is an Ashby’s Sterling franchise though, so only Alinosi to go and only Spumoni when I was there. They also sell those premade ice cream clowns made out of a scoop with a sugar cone hat that I always got when we went to Baskin Robbins as a kid.

VERY good ice cream, lots of choices. I love the peanut butter cookie dough. Prices are about $ 4 a person.
