Nice place– went on a weeknight and there was almost no one there. Seemed a bit surprising and made me a bit skeptical. My girlfriend and I split a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was a lot of food– great deal, nice environment, nice people. Next time I want Indian food, it will be high on my list.

Abdula was great! Great service & good eats ! Much better than London Curry House, except not as fancy looking. But for the price & more food selection, we’ll be coming back for more.

Went here for the buffet on a Saturday night. Was pretty good. Staff was good, kept the water coming and provided fresh Naan. The food was pretty good for the lower price than I’m used to. We did have a kid come to our table with a sign to try to get us to give money to them, but they went away when it was obviously we didn’t have any cash to give them. If only they had gulab jamun, I would have been even happier.

The place is clean, well maintained and spacious by most desi restaurant standards(relatively less dirty washrooms but still no soap) but i think they serve left over food from the previous day .we ate from the buffet which had dishes like nihari, korma, butter chicken, curry pakoray, watery custard, kheer, almost tasteless halwa and 3 – 4 others .i could barely recognize what is what bcoz either it was too dark, very very thick and not fresh looking at all. omg and the worse tasting biryani .(biryani ki insult hai isay biryani kehna) I ate half of the curry pakora before i realized what i m eating, korma and nihari were the same color almost, same consistency(read thick and not smooth) but taste was not bad. I wish they would serve fresh food and work on the customer service a bit bcoz the taste of the food was pretty close to the real thing but not appetizing to look at. i would still give this place another chance bcoz they said they make fresh food if u are hosting a party there so i have yet to try that and also bcoz i was told that buffet food is typically lower in quality so therefore i would like to come back on a weekday n try a la carte. most pakistani restaurants do not hold the capacity to seat that many people but this one can up to 150 approx. beware of the unprofessional /extra chatty server who would pour out her problems to you without you even being interested n insist u pay her a tip there n then in form of cash.

I had a veggie samosa yesterday at a festival and it was delicious! The green chutney was amazing and the gentleman gave me some to take home for free. Awesome!

We stopped into BBQ Delight last night(Saturday) with some friends and ordered the buffet. We were a little hesitant based on the strip mall location initially. The nahari was delicious — it was probably my favorite dish with some naan on the side and ginger on top. Nothing was too spicy, but there was a bit of a kick and the waitress did a great job keeping our water pitcher full. Good food, good service… I’m not in that area too often but will definitely return!

I read the Washington Post review and this is definitely authentic Indian/Pakistani cuisine. The buffet had several very flavorful dishes and the naan brought to the table was awesome. Very reasonably priced and would definitely recommend.

We went tonite after reading the recommendation in the Washington Post — it was REALLY good! The buffet had an excellent selection of dishes which all tasted different, and none were too spicy for us weenies. The Nan was perfect, and the desserts were all spectacularly good. Everyone was friendly and kept our glasses filled. $ 33 for two of us, with tea, soda, and all we could possibly eat. We’ll definitely go back.

BBQ Delight is yet another new establishment in this restaurant space. Hopefully it sticks around for a while. I’ve had buffet carryout and ordered off the menu dine-in before. The food has been pretty solid both times. Like Abshaar, BBQ Delight features Halwa-puri on their weekend brunch/lunch menu. You have to order puri on the side. We were getting carry-out, so we loaded up on halwa, channa, alu, nihari, and chicken tikka(bone-in) and ordered some puri and naan to go. For food(more than) enough for 3 people, we paid about $ 30. Onto the taste. The puri itself was a little thick. Greasy of course, but all puri is greasy. The halwa and channa were delicious. The nihari was very spicy but also delicious. I’d happily come back for brunch. The restaurant is big and usually pretty empty, so I wouldn’t be afraid to come back with a rowdy group of friends on a Saturday morning.

I don’t understand how this place has such good reviews. We went for the buffet on a weekday and were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was fine, but the actual food — not good. Maybe they just weren’t at their best since it was a down time, but nearly everything was dry and tasted vaguely freezer burnt. The warm naan brought directly to the table was a nice touch, but it couldn’t save the experience. Won’t be back.

Went here for a Ramadan Iftar, they had a buffet style set up which was decent, they had appetizers ranging from samosa, chaat to pakoras etc. However, the food options were very limited. They had three different kinds of rice(do you really need that many in a buffet??), meat korma, tandoori chicken, naan, a chicken dish, chickpeas(did not look fresh) and that was about it. Food was OK. Kind of bland. Not worth close to $ 17.00. Oh and just an FYI,(I realized this after I paid), bring cash! If you pay by credit card, you’re automatically charged .89 cents(credit card tax? I don’t even know) more than cash payers.

I just found out about this restaurant, and went to try it. I was expecting good things, and was not disappointed. Their qeema samosas were crisp and savory, and their seekh kabab karahi was well-spiced, bringing out a variety of flavors without overwhelming the tomato-based sauce or succulent ground meat. The portions were very reasonable for the price, and I went home feeling satisfied. In all, an experience I plan to repeat quite soon.

This is the second BBQ delight location, first one located in the Manassas/centerville area. I tried the buffet since it was a pretty solid value at 11.99 and included nihari, a slow cooked beef shank stew typically eaten with naan bread. The nihari was spicy but flavorful and had a generous amount of beef shanks. Definitely some of the best nihari I’ve ever had. The naan was soft and fresh as most are. My dad enjoyed the paya(another stew type dish made with lamb and mutton feet, not as gross as it might sound) but my mom couldn’t finish it, so the food of course depends on your taste. The restaurant was reasonably spacious and can fit about 150 people. We liked the place enough to inquire about parties and catering. The décor is nice and the restaurant is cleaner than your average Pakistani restaurant. I thought some of the food was a bit salty and the souji halva(dessert) was too greasy(albeit delicious) Overall I recommend this new local family restaurant. Give it a try!

This is a new Pakistani full service restaurant in Fairfax County near Springfield. Stopped by today for their weekday lunch buffet. The food was fresh and it includes freshly made naan, all for $ 9.95. The restaurant was also spotless and tastefully designed which is very unusual(in a good way) for a Pakistani restaurant. I highly recommend BBQ Delight for their lunch buffet!
