He had the Thursday nite special, prime rib. I had a burger which was tasty. That night, we enjoyed a tasting from«Two Roads» brewery. I found a new beet which was surprising to me — usually a red ale girl! The appetizer of onion rings was excellent. I suggest the mustard based dipping sauce, especially on the French fries. He had the fries which I stole as I crunched on my side salad… no room for dessert, maybe next time… or not.

I’ve been to Brew City a couple of times for lunch and once for dinner. While it is okay, it doesn’t stand out compared to some of its«natural rivals» in town, such as The Fix and The Boynton. I most recently had the Crunch Time burger, which came with habanero jack cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon and potato chips. Unfortunately, the flavor that stood out the most was the overly charred hamburger — the burnt taste was stronger than anything else. The burger was cooked acceptably in the middle(I ordered it medium), so I think the subpar taste was an indictment of the lack of flavors from the other toppings as much as it was the patty preparation itself. I detected no hint of heat, let alone habanero, from the cheese, and the chips were bland and blended in as well, with minimal crisp once they had mingled with the BBQ sauce. The fries, meanwhile, were crispy and a bit overdone for my taste. In short, I got bored eating everything about halfway through, which is never a good sign for a restaurant. I will say that I had a better experience on a previous visit when I ordered the Brew City Beer burger. The extra moisture and flavor from the grilled onions made the difference here. On my most recent trip, there was only one server for a relatively meager lunch crowd, but she was attentive and friendly. Thus, while there is nothing major wrong with Brew City, I think there are better places to get burgers and standard American/pub fare — and that the restaurant is not, as its website claims, a «one of a kind establishment.»

Beer was good and plentiful but food wise stick with their burgers. Nachos although look good had burnt shredded cheese which made them very hard to eat and DONTGETGRILLEDPIZZA. It was honestly gross– very greasy and had way to much sauce and the crust was burnt(grilled) on the bottom but soggy on the other side. Service was fast but I felt very rushed. Came on a Friday to relax with a few beers and ended up having to tell the server 3 times that we weren’t ready to order(with in a 20 minute span).

Great Burger very very poor service. Had to find the server to place order. Gave us the wrong sandwich, never offered to replace it. No check back. Too busy sitting with Co worker chatting.

Great food, great service. I ordered the Thai Burger which was amazing. It puts your average T.G.I. Friday’s burger to shame. The seasoning, and cooking of the burger was perfect. Deliciously delightful.

Long wait, but absolutely worth it. Dad and Grandmere had the mussels and pork belly appetizers as an entrée, I had the Buffalo jam burger. Easily one of the top 5 burgers I’ve had on my life. Mussels were tasty and cooked to perfection, and the pork belly was fantastic. Little sister wasn’t too enthused with her butternut chicken, as it was more of a cream sauce with diced butternut squash instead of a butternut squash sauce. Her boyfriend was pleased with whatever crunchy burger thing he had. Fairly decent beer selection. Good variety! Overall very well pleased with this visit.

Awful experience! Decided to go there while passing through town, mistakenly left my debit card there(no wasnt drunk only had 1 beer and a cup of chilli). Called first thing Mon morning and spoke with a manager, was asked to call the next day to speak with the general manager so I called back tue am spoke with her. Asked if they would kindly mail it to me or my credit union and they could contact the credit union to verify the address and I could freeze my account till I had the card back. The GM then told me to call back wed morning and speak with the owner. So I call back wed and the owner is in a meeting I speak with the original manager I had spoken to on Mon and she was aware of my dilemma of living in another state and I happen to be leaving for travel in a week. I asked her to please have the owner call me at his earliest convenience. An hour and a half later while Ive been figuring out how to change my schedule to retrieve my card since it is not looking like they will help me at all, the manager calls me back, not the owner! Who says she has shredded my card before I can even ask if I can even tell her Im trying to figure out how to get there before I leave. I am now without a debit card that will take 10 days to come in and traveling to Baltimore for an EMS conference in 7. I understand liability concerns and the safety of my identity, but honestly what happened to helping out another human being and making someone else’s day a little easier. Im a paramedic and I guess helping people is a daily occurrence for me but not for others. Instead they dilayed me 3 days for ordering a new card and the manager told me she had a safe full of cards people never picked up! Plenty of liability there!

Fantastic! I got a hot mess burger, my wife ordered the mashed potato and pork belly pizza, the kids got personal pizzas from the kids menu, and we ordered buffalo tenders and pork belly strips for appetizers. Did we over order — you betcha! We barely got three slices into that heavenly pizza.(So filling!) My burger was cooked perfectly, topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce. The kids pizzas were made quite well and prepared as though they were just as important as the adult meals.(Usually, the kids menu consists of kraft mac and cheese or chicken fingers. Not here, their kids meals are clearly not an afterthought.) The buffalo tenders we a little dry, but still quite good, the pork belly strips were a little too sweet, but still awesome. Topped off with a fantastic selection of beers, we will be back. Well worth the drive!

BS lying bartender said I swore at her on a day I can prove via gps I was not even there!!! Staff said I had them call a cab for me too many times. I DON’T DRIVE, I am 60 years old and live on the top of a tall hill and the streets were slick and icy. Thus place owes me a huge apology and I would like to see that lying female bartender fired. Call me if you want to know more. Jim Mathieson 5087335688

I found this place on Unilocal. There is street parking and a lot in the back of the bar. It was a really nice night out and they do offer some seating outside. I was excited to try all of their different drinks whereas my friend was more interested in their food. If you’re not a beer drinker than you won’t really get to enjoy everything about a brew house. While I did enjoy my pizza I think this place gets its popularity for its drink menu. I would def come back to this place again if I’m in the area.

This was our first time there and I was very dissapointed. The beers were good and their choices are good. I ordered the fishmermans platter for $ 20 dollars. When it came i thought it was an appetizer! There was so little food it was a joke! I have eaten seaffod platters in many restaurants from Maine to the Carolinas and I have never seen such a small portion of food. Thank god my wife ordered the Fish and chip’s platter for $ 15 and i had half of hers. The food was good but very very small. I also must say that i wanted to order a cocktail instead of a beer but their price was 10 $ for the cocktail. This place aint the Ritz so i cant figure why the price is so high. Im pretty sure I wont be going back. PS Wait staff are great

We went here for dinner me and a friend. I agree the atmosphere was great! The convenient parking in the back was a plus to avoid parallel parking on the busy street. A few problems I had was the back entrance did not have a wait staff. We went there on not even a busy night and stood there for about 20 minutes before anyone even noticed we were waiting. The food tasted great, but I didn’t like how it was prepared. I have the grilled chicken wrapped in bacon, the side dishes that came with that weren’t hot, they were almost cold to the point like it was sitting there for a while in the kitchen.

after having a few beers at wormtown brewery, my boyfriend and i decided to head here for some noshes. we tried to sit at the bar, but it was full on a saturday around 4(it only seats about 12 or so), so we were seated at a high-top table in the bar area. the beer list is enormous, and almost overwhelming. you do have to be careful because some of the selections are a bit pricey. but, the good news is that they are very transparent about the cost, so as long as you pay attention, you should be okay. my boyfriend and i each ordered beers we had never even heard of, which is impressive and not an easy feat. there is a flight-sized portion listed, as you can design your own flights from the beer, but you can also ask for a small sample if you want to try something before committing to it. for food, i stayed light and just went with a cup of chili. my boyfriend went all-in though and got the carnegie burger, with a side of risotto. the chili was good; it was very meaty, and had a heat level that i actually think might be a little much for the general public, but was spot-on for me. my boyfriend’s burger was cooked correctly(medium), but for $ 15 was pretty small, considering it was supposed to be topped with pastrami. i was expecting a messy sandwich(in a good way), but this stayed together quite neatly. his risotto was a disaster, and i do not recommend ordering it, especially since it cost extra and was not an even substitution for his french fries. first off, it was not cooked; the rice was still hard. secondly, the only flavor was salt. it didn’t taste cheesy, there were no herbs, no drizzle of lemon juice, sauce– nothing. it was white food in a white bowl served on a white plate. our service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. we did have a good time, and we will probably be back, but will order differently.

Overall, this place was pretty great. They had a large selection of beer and other drinks. We had the build your own black bean veggie patty and it was great! Not very pricey, but some other items on the menu were. They also had amazing fries.

I was visiting cousins who live in the area and we came here for a pre-Sharks game dinner. The buffalo jam burger was delicious and the Mediterranean salad was good but too big for one person. I can imagine this place is pretty crazy when busy and the table was a bit small for our group of 4 adults and 1 kid, but it was perfect pre-hockey game fuel. Thanks!

I’m wavering between 3 and 4 stars. The beer selection is big, but not well curated so that kind of defeats the point of having 40 beers on tap. At the very least, you can probably find something for everyone here, but nothing that will really excite beer nerds. Brew City is basically a sports bar with slightly better food and slightly higher prices. The burgers are good, but the basic burger is already $ 11. The fries are just ok, not quite crisp enough for me.

This place fell short of my expectations. I was excited about the large tap selection, but there was not much worth getting excited about. A lot of generic, average beer really. The food was also not anything to be excited about. The burger was bland and overlooked, and the fries were too salty. The Mac and cheese was kind of average. I probably won’t go back here.
