The meat and cheese board is huge but really yummy! The blood orange sangria is strong but very good as well. We shared the pistachio pizza for dinner which was good but very oily. I wish I knew our servers name because she was the sweetest waitress. Very attentive and let us know how big the app was so we didn’t over order which we appreciate. Overall the food and experience was good so we will be back. Nice outdoor seating and big open doors! Nice summer spot!

I came to this restaurant with my family and had a marvelous experience! The restaurant itself had a great ~aesthetic~. High ceilings with exposed pipes, rustic wooden panels and brick lining the walls, cast iron table legs, hip music, and even an outdoor patio(that we did not get to enjoy, unfortunately). This all made it look great, but also meant the restaurant was a bit loud — hardly an intimate setting, if that’s what you’re looking for. Now for the food. Between 5 of us, we shared a couple of appetizers and 4 pizzas. The pizzas are«personally sized», 12 inches in diameter, according to our helpful and enthusiastic waiter. But we left full and with a few extra pieces in a box. The family consensus favorite was the pattata pizza, but we also enjoyed the funghi pizza, a delightful combination of goat cheese and mushroom. Overall, I would return, but would be more interested in trying out other gourmet pizza places first.

I’d drive far distances to eat a slice of Capocolla pizza. It is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. I dream about this pizza at night. If having a healthy diet wasn’t important I’d eat this pizza every day for the rest of my life. If I could I’d make it my best man in my upcoming wedding.

Tasty pizza with an excellent crust, great drinks and wine, attentive service. Went on a Saturday night and had to wait a bit but it was worth it. It was quite loud and the room was cold, needed my jacket. Otherwise a good experience.

Terrible customer service. Avoid this establishment. Visited yesterday for lunch as a first time customer. Ordered the meatball sandwich. When it arrived, it was light on meatballs, heavy on bread. I showed the sandwich to my waitress and she agreed, and offered to get a couple more meatballs from the kitchen. She returns, and explains to me that this is my problem, that they believe they include the appropriate amount of meatballs in their sandwich. It gets better. I am then advised that if I want additional meatballs(to enjoy my lunch) I will be charged for them. This is absurd. I will evangelize this terrible service to all family, friends, and my social networks. Picture of the sandwich attached.

His place is wonderful. The amazing Italian thin pizza is cooked in a traditional Italian oven. The fresh ingredients and rustic flavor come to life on the house-made dough. Tender, soft, and with a little crunch each slice is a reminder of Italian Neapolitan style. The bar beer selection is top notch, with local breweries making up the lions share of the tap space. The staff is always helpful and seek to improve your experience. Customization of pizzas are not frowned upon. Come in for a pizza and pint!

Had the fungi pizza-mushrooms and goat cheese on a white pizza. It was excellent! brought half home and I’m so looking forward to lunch tomorrow! It was Wednesday and all pasta was $ 10. There are 5 pasta dishes on the menu and none excited me so I went with the pizza. Looking fiorward to returning for the 2 for 1.

Pizza is a safe bet when you want something good to eat. The Capocolla is delicious, best pizza on the menu. Their pastas are okay. Good selection of drinks and wine.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful bar. Ambitious menu, which i love, but today i just had the pizza. We had the volturno and mushroom. The volturno was pretty good, unfortunately i think maybe it was undercooked, it was pretty soggy. The flavor of sauce was good, crust was good. The prosciutto seemed to be thrown on at the end, i think it would be better if it was crisped a little bit. The mushroom pizza was pretty good, maybe too much garlic. Overall, i think the menu is interesting enough to try again and hopefully the soggy pizza was a fluke.

Been here a few times, it’s really good. How ever don’t go when it’s packed it can take forever. And I mean forever like 2 hours forever. But the food is so good! I recommend take out and lunch!

Popular spot, had to wait for our reservation for over 30 minutes. We were going to a concert so time got short and I could not order the pan seared steak bc it takes 30 minutes to cook. The rest of our party ordered the pizzas and I got the sausage.

I’m a salad and pizza snob. Overdressed-gross. Thick crust-no thank you. The arugula salad with beets, gorgonzola, hazelnuts and grilled chicken was pure perfection on a plate. A generous amount of arugula, perfect tiny beet squares, a dusting of cheese and a sprinkling of crunchy nuts made this salad proportions and portion five star. The grilled chicken was moist and tender. Our pistachio, pesto pizza had so many flavors and was cooked in a very hot oven which made for a tiny bit of char. I liked the restaurant’s design. Our service was a little slow but forgivable because they were so busy. I can’t wait to go back to try more salads, pizzas and the sandwiches.

Went on Tuesday 4÷5÷16. Had a nice table near the windows. The waitress was very nice. The pizza however was awful. We ordered the Volturno pizza. Since it was a 2 +1 special if you order something else off the menu I ordered the Arugula salad. The salad was only lettuce, red onions and beets. No toasted hazelnuts to be found. The pizza was burnt all along the outside crust. The middle of the pizza was doughy and the pizza was cold. We had ordered a 2nd one to take home. My mother and son both threw it out as they did not like it at all. Needless to say we will not be returning to Volturno.

We were blown away by the atmosphere, service and the food. This was the best Neapolitan Pizza. The sausage was tasty and I love the crust. Cocktails were ridiculously well-made. Great selection of craft beers, wines and more artisanal liquors. This is our new favorite place.

Okay I guess. Ordered a Bianco with sausage that came out undercooked. Was told afterwords by server that we should order the pizza well cooked(as if it was our fault) For the $$$ I’d expect better. Meatballs came out warm, not hot. Beer was okay. Shrewbury street prices for over rated food. Service was good and we were offered another pie.

Had dinner last night here, and really liked it. Nice atmosphere, albeit a tad on the loud side. Had several different appetizers which were all good, but the Pulp was AMAZING. It’s easy to make it badly, but it was grilled to perfection, and just delicious. Had the funghi pizza, full flavored, nice sauce and cheese. The house made dough is scrumptious, but you’re to specify if you want it crispy on the bottom. Very good wine selection, and the HBR craft cocktail is like warm Carmel in your mouth with a touch of kick.

Overpriced. My boyfriend and I keep coming back every now and then because we like the patio, but we always leave unsatisfied. Bolognese came out bland and barely warm, sausage and hazelnut honey drizzle pizza was not great for $ 18. The hazelnut honey drizzle was WAY too overpowering and tasted more like dessert then a pizza. Two drinks, bolognese, a pizza, and potatoes wedges cost us $ 75! Again, overpriced.

Went on Monday, 01/04, for the 2 for 1 pizza special on Mondays & Tuesdays. One small change since my last visit; an alcoholic drink must be purchased to get the special. I had the margherita and the patata pizzas. I liked the margherita, which I’ve had before. I was underwhelmed with the patata as the rosemary and onion didn’t come through because of the large amount of potatoes and panna. I like the concept of the patata, I just think it needs to hit the expected taste profile. Still have a good, varying selection of beers. FYI, I also like Monday nights because Carlos is at the bar; great guy & great service.

This is one of my regular go to spots in Woo. I love the atmosphere and décor. The service is always excellent. But the most important thing is the quality of the food. The pasta is made in house, you can taste the freshness in the pasta($ 10 pasta Wednesdays). Recommend the lasagna. The pizzas are all good– the funghi(mushroom), the lemon, and pistachio pizzas get a lot of raves from my friends when we go together. I’m also find of the spicy chili pizza and the bacon/potato pizza. They’re all good! The appetizers are good too and the Nutella pizza is a great dessert for sharing. Decent beer selection. Monday’s and Tuesday’s gets you buy one get one free pizza. Great deal!

Volturno is such a good idea that is let down by its execution. I’m ok paying $ 15 for a small pizza if its well made with quality ingredients. The topping combinations they have are great, but the quality of the ingredients seemed lacking to me. The sausage was quite bland and so was the cheese. Of the four pizzas I tried, the Volturno was the one that stood out and had a much more interesting texture because of the fresh arugula on top. The other three tasted kinda samey despite having different toppings. The crust also had too much char on it. I get that its a wood fired oven and this can happen, but each of out pizzas had more char on it that I’ve seen anywhere else. We also got arancini and fried vegetables. The vegetables were fun, but I’d probably skip the arancini next time. Nothing was bad, I was just expecting more exciting flavors. On the plus side, they have two for one pizzas on Monday and Tuesday.
