Good food — reasonable prices Updated interior– looks really nice. Noisy downstairs– quieter upstairs where we sat.

My favorite Worcester restaurant. I’ve tried a lot of menu items and never been disappointed. Sometimes I will try some place new and wish I had just come here. The antipasto salad is a favorite: generous size, generous meat/cheese pinwheela, fresh ingredients. Great to share as an appeitizer. Every steak or steak tip dinner has been cooked perfectly. Same with the seafood. It’s clear they care about the quality of every ingredient and menu item. Their specials are always great like the deep fried brussels sprouts. Loud, boisterous atmosphere which makes it perfect for bringing the kids. My toddler loves their sweet potato fries. This place is as busy at 5pm as it is at 8pm so be prepared to take a few minutes to park ans wait on the weekends. Service is friendly. Easy to eat paleo or paleo-ish here!

Appetizers were awesome, Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo was just right! Only downfall is that there are no free refills on soft drinks but overall the food and service was excellent. Will be back there soon

3 ¾. Food is great. Variety of beers are tasty. It can just get a little too noisy for a dinner.

The food was good but my server was very disintersted in waiting on us(me and my bf). Slow service but pretty good food. The blue cheese dressing is so good as well as my blooming onion.

Food and drinks are good. Boynton buckets are a must! This is an awesome family friendly establishment. Staff are all wonderful and prompt. Parking can be tough sometimes and the wait a little longer towards the end if the week, but that’s expected. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been to the Boynton quite a few times(along with everyone else in Worcester). The service is good, the food is fine. I definitely remember there being more pasta dishes on the menu a few years ago, but there are still plenty of options. The only real problem: their reservations. The restaurant is often very crowded, and they will only take reservations for parties of 8 or larger, and then only 24 hours in advance or more. This has caused some problems for groups I’ve been a part of, that often decide to go somewhere else a little more accommodating. Once you’re seated, the staff handles large groups just fine, but getting those seats can be a real struggle.

Awful… Dirty dirty dirty. Place looks like they don’t own a vacuum. Food was awful. Got a burger and it was a frozen patty that was burnt to a crisp. Not a fan of this place.

My go-to restaurant when I lived in Worcester. Still high on the list now that I live about 20 minutes away. Good food, drinks, and prices with a relaxed, family restaurant feel. Favorite meal is their Bleu Monday burger(bleu cheese and Canadian bacon). The rest of the burgers are great, too, of course, as are the nachos. Plenty of other options too, and quite a few beers on tap.

First things first, this place is very popular. We went on a Saturday night and had to wait about 1.5 hours to sit. Food is good but no different than other bar food. I would recommend others in Worcester before boynton for food but it is a fun atmosphere.

We were told that this was the best place to go in Worcester for lunch… so, we went. It was definitely busy! We had a short wait but not unreasonable. We were seated at a booth and our server came and took our drink orders right away. We all ordered sandwiches of some sort or another — mine was a Reuben. It was ok. Not the best I’ve ever had but okay. Everyone else at the table was equally happy with their meals. Parking was a real challenge and the noise level was loud making it hard to have a conversation. This is obviously one of THE places to go in Worcester and we were glad to have the experience.

Boynton Restaurant and Spirits is my kinda place!!! And it appears everyone else’s too! Even on a Monday night at10:30 the place was hopping. People drinking, eating, and hanging out. Great food. Great beer selection. Awesome prices… and great great Atmosphere. My turkey club(homemade roasted turkey, bacon etc) was fantastic. I asked them if they could do a 50⁄50 onion rings and fries… and the watress just brought me a plate of extra fries… no charge. Great soups. Great garlic cheese bread. Service was pretty awesome too. If I lived in Worcester(god I still can not pronounce it right)…I would be here all the time!!!

Came for lunch with a group from work — food was great! Perfect lunch environment — but I can tell this place would be a lot of fun at night as well. Wait staff was busy but great with refills. Some of the folks on our party had really specific requests and they were able to accommodate. Some folks at the table next to us got some kind of fishbowl drink — jealous! Will definitely come back after work hours!

Seriously, the best restaurant in Worcester! I discovered this place when my brother was working at a school in the area, and ever since then, I make a point to go whenever I’m in the area. Sometimes, when I’m craving the food, I make the hour drive to go. It’s AMAZING. The buffalo chicken pizza is the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life. It has this white dill sauce… I mean seriously, I dream about it. When I go, I always order it, and usually 1 or 2 to go! All of the food I have tried here is delicious. Other favorites include the Caesar salad on the pizza crust, the Mexican pizza, and the nachos. And the staff is always so friendly & efficient. I like to sit either at the bar, or in the bar area– sometimes the dining area feels like a family crowd(which I’m sure is a plus if you have children!!). Seriously, GO!

Ah the Boynton, a Worcester staple that is always a go-to restaurant in the county. No matter what time you go, there always appears to be a wait. And, if you went to high school in Worcester, chances are you’ll run into a someone you haven’t seen in 10 years(get ready for awkward small talk). The Boynton serves traditional American fair, and has an extensive menu, and while the food is filling, it isn’t mouthwateringly presented or delectably memorable. Whenever I’m in town and meeting a friend for a casual meal, we generally hit up the Boynton, but I think it’s less because it’s the best place to eat, and more because it(like all of Worcester), is special because of its hometown feeling.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with some friends who live in the area. Despite it being a typically«off peak» time of day, it was pretty busy and continued to get even more crowded. The atmosphere is nothing spectacular but you can tell it’s a very popular place. I’m not sure what’s typical for the Worcester area, but they seemed to have a pretty good tap list which is always a good thing. To start we shared some raw oysters, priced at $ 1.75 a shuck, which coming from CT was a great deal for me! I got the special burger which had fried avocado, bacon, and spicy mayo. Everything was really tasty. In general this a solid place to go for some good food and beer. Definitely nothing super out of the ordinary for a pub, but good enough to go back!

Came in here on a whim, expecting a hole in the wall dive and was pleasantly surprised. The buffalo wings are amazing, the sauce is coated perfectly and has a nice spicy kick. The blue cheese has chunks of cheese that add to the flavor, texture, and fullness of the meal. I also got the blue cheese burger, it was ok nothing I hadn’t had before. The honey mustard however is amazing. i was rolling my fries and even my burger in it. It seems like a nice local place to watch sports or grab drinks with friends. our server had lots of tables but was not letting it show, something I respect from also working in the food industry. It also stays open late which was a lifesaver as we were starving, and as a true Unilocaler I would rather forefeet my tastebuds then settle for drive through.

The Boynton has, as of this writing, the third best beer selection of any bar in Worcester. There are over 40 beers on tap and while there is some filler like coors and blue moon, I think they kept it to a minimum. The majority of the beers are good; a mix of local and national craft beers without getting anything too crazy. Still, you can frequently get Maine Beer Co here which is not common in Worcester. I think every time I’ve been here I’ve ordered a Pretty Things Meadowlark which they sell for $ 6. Not bad at all. The atmosphere is a bit too modern sports bar-y to me and this place is gigantic, but it wouldn’t prevent me from coming here for a drink. The food, on the other hand, is nothing special. The menu is huge and aims to have something for everyone, which in most cases means«nothing for me.» I’m not a picky eater. I will eat pretty much anything that is well-prepared and this is where«please everyone» places let me down. There are a ton of options, all of which are safe(bland) for most people and that’s what I felt about my burger, which had bleu cheese dressing and Canadian bacon on it. It was a burger. I ate the whole thing. It was $ 9. That’s all I have to say about it. To sum up, 4 stars is probably too generous for the Boynton, but I really like the beer options and location(Highland Street needs a good bar). Considering the number of people I saw ordering Bud Light in bottles and wine at the bar, I don’t think beer people are the Boynton’s core clientele, but they maintain a quality selection anyway which I can respect. At least the food is pretty cheap which makes this a good beer, sports, and apps place.

Phenomenal! I had the sandwich that my waitress recommended and it was unreal. It was beef with an au jus to dip it. The bread was phenomenal and the onion rings were off the hook as well. I wish I lived there so I could go back and get another. Great service and very reasonably priced.

Service(Attentiveness): The server Erin K. was below average. My wife had one drink with no refills for the entire time we were there. When we needed her, she was gone. Kitchen Speed: The food speed was average. Food Quality: The food was OK. Nothing spectacular I’ve talked to a few others who frequent this restaurant and we all agree that the Boynton isn’t what it used to be. The menu used to go on forever, and the service & food used to be spectacular. I don’t know what’s going on there, but its seems to be spiraling down.
