I love poundland, I was there tonight. You really do get a bargain. I only have one think to asked though. If it’s call called poundland, and says everything is a pound, only to see signs saying «3 pot noodles for £2» and some CDs and games with a £2 price tag? You will see my pics: p still the best place to shop if you are a student or even a tourist wanting to make your money go further. Even if you are looking to buy food to take back to your hotel room.
Sells everything inc bread, cheese, butter, milk, cereal, cold cooked meat. Take back to your hotel room and you will save a fortune. Oh and phone charges etc.
Like someone else said. It’s in the old historic old Woolworths building. And it’s by far the biggest of it’s chain in the city centre. Go on. Get yourself a bargain:)

One of the biggest poundland shops that I’ve seen & been in. This place is or was once upon a time Woolworths before its unfortunate demise.
Other than the new layout of the store that seems to have a section that is or looks like its from That’s Entertainment but at a fantastic bargin of £1.
But as such this place is one of the few places that you can find just about everything in exept the kitchen sink.
