This is a find! It’s located up a set of rickety stairs just off of the main drag of Shawlands with a rather dubious sign above it’s door. Any misgivings that you may have at first however soon evaporate once you’re inside. The place feels like a New York warehouse/loft conversation with lovely bare brick walls, warm varnished wooden floors and funky metal banisters. The staff are attentive, friendly and very polite. The service was quick but not too invasive. We were given just the right amount of time to enjoy our food without feeling rushed and similarly, did not have to sit with dirty abandoned plates cluttering up our table. The food is well priced and there is a good selection which even caters well for the veggies. The wine list is on the smaller side(which is slightly odd for an Italian restaurant), however, it is again well priced and enjoyable. Definately worth a visit.

Although not much from the outside, Spaghettis in Shawlands is a lovely little Italian restaurant and the perfect place for a quiet meal. With wooden floors and brickwork it is trendy yet cosy and homely. The service is attentive and friendly, the wine isn’t too dear and the food is grand. Try the calzone — crispy and delicious! It’s situated in a lovely wee corner of Shawlands, ideal for relaxing with a post-meal drink, or a bite to eat before a trip to the Shed if the mood takes you.
