Heading out of town one day, my boyfriend and I decided to grab a quick sandwich for the train ride. We popped in this location as it was within eye sight of where we were.
This place… well…the smell of the bread cooking always reminds me of home. It’s so weird to think that it does, but it does. I don’t eat here too often, but you can always smell the bread baking and know when one is in the area.
This location was clean and bright with a decent amount of seating available should you choose to sit in. The meats and veggies available were fresh and all ingredients were available.
The staff were friendly enough and we were in and out of there in no time and on our way to the train.

After rocking in here at ridiculous am, I have to say the staff were very gracious faced with an obnoxious drunk person (moi). It’s a refreshing change to have pleasant, patient staff serve you a well executed sub and smile about it! Glad to see a bouncer there late on and gladder he was very friendly. Will definitely be back.

I pop into this Subway branch 4 – 5 times a week as i work close by. It’s a good Subway store and I always manage to get served quite quickly which is important when you only have 30 mins for lunch! I usualy opt for the vegi patty or the tuna sub. Love the fact I can choose which salads I want and what type of cheese. Never have mines toasted but prefere it heated up in the microwave instead. And for vale for money you can’t complain at £3 for a Sub and drink (I always take a nice latte).
Staff are nice in this store and it does seems to be the same people there so that helps in that they get to know your order!

I used to work in Subway so it takes quite a lot for me to say — The best sandwich I have had since I stopped working there was from this store. I don’t know if the guy that made it was just in a particularly good mood and made the sub with love or if it was just a fluke, but it worked! I got free extra cheese too — It was a veggie delite, so extra cheese always goes down a treat.
(And no, I wasn’t dressed in a way that may make a male member of staff give freebees out to female customers!)
Never anywhere near as packed as some of the other stores get, but still pretty handy for Argyle Street/Georges Square.
