Jinnah Restaurant

Can’t complain about this restaurant; staff were courteous and attentive, décor was smart, atmosphere was good. We opted for the evening buffet, which was great value at just under £10. This consisted of poppadoms with a pickle tray (great stuff, had my fave lime pickle amongst 7 others!), followed by a selection of starters, then you can take your pick from the 9 different curries on offer in the buffet. The starters were lovely and freshly cooked, nicely spiced chicken kebabs, pakora and onion bhadji. My fiancé was vegetarian and we were asked if either of us was so before ordering, which was nice since she then got served a vegetarian starter selection which was equally tasty.
The main buffet itself was very good, a nice selection of curries ranging from mild butter chicken up to a nicely hot (for a chilli head like me) meat dish. They were all delicious; I would have enjoyed them ordered singly and wouldn’t have known they were from a buffet. I can highly recommend this place, I’m sad I only got to visit once since their non-​buffet dishes looked very exciting, so well worth a visit if you’ve got a curry craving after a day in the Dales…

We eat at the Jinnah quite often and always opt for the buffet which is on from Monday-​Thursday. It’s good value for money and it means that every member of the party can have something they particularly like. The meal begins with poppdoms and spicy chutneys and then you get a generous selection of bharjis, sausages and chicken before the main course which comes with a large naan bread to share on a sort of skewer in the middle of the table. The puds are indian ice creams and a bit expensive in my opinion but the main buffet is very good value for money.

Upscale décor. Somewhat friendly staff. Prompt service. Order al la carte off the menu, or go for the «all-​you-​can-​eat» buffet. Good selection of items from the menu. The food was good but pretty standard for an Indian restaurant. Popular place to eat with most tables full by 7:00pm.

The atmosphere is amazing in this place, the staff is very friendly, the food is of excellent quality and the flavors are outstanding! I can’t say enough good about this place! So glad I tried it. The prices were amazing, too!

Went here for my sons 18^th birthday. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Staff made lots of fuss of our youngest son who loved the whole evening. The buffet menu was excellent and good value with an excellent range of starters served at your table, followed by a wide choice of curries/​rice etc and fab Naan tree served to each table. Well worth a visit!
